Shape Optimization of the Metal Boss for a Composite Motor Case (복합재 연소관의 금속 보스 형상 최적설계)

  • This paper proposes a shape optimization of the metal boss for a composite motor case using finite element analysis. For the structural safety and the weight reduction of the composite motor case, under the internal pressure, the fiber stress in the dome area and the tightening bolt stress are constrained and the boss weight is set to objective function, respectively. The response surface models are constructed for the performance characteristics by using response surface method. The significance of the design variables about the performance characteristics is evaluated through the ANOVA(analysis of variance) and the goodness of fit test for the constructed model is performed through the regression analysis. The SQP(sequential quadratic programming) algorithm is used for the optimization and the proposed method is verified by performing structural analysis for the optimum shape.

  • This paper has developed the system that can monitor the distribution transformers(pole and pad) using simplified deterioration detecting sensor in oil and wireless data communication. This system is made up by deterioration detecting sensor, oil level measuring system, deterioration measuring system and communication unit. To prove the usefulness of the system, the paper compared and analyzed the system with the existed system, and after studying the correlation of the both, the result proved goodness of the new system. The proposed monitoring system, when it is used on the pole and pad transformer, would make the reliable diagnoses possible with less rate.

  • In progress to ubiquitous intelligent society, there are emerging technologies such smart wear related researches as wearable computer, smart fiber and smart fashion. In this paper, wearable 3D information acquisition device which improved both advanced in convenience and portable is implemented. 3D information input system is basically grouped of some modules; Gyro sensor for acquisition of 3D space coordinate, RF transmitter/receiver, and signal processing module etc. To testify the validity of designed system, some experiments are performed using lest board with respect to the communication distance, easiness of wearable and operation sensibility.

  • In the online game that thousands of participants connect to a game world by using Internet simultaneously, participants of the game world may have different hardwares and network environments, and messages of participants should be synchronization. A solution for the synchronization problem is to wait for a certain amount of time until the server processes the message. It is not easy to determine a suitable waiting period because of the trade-off between the fairness and the responsiveness. In this paper we propose a method to decide a waiting period by considering features of the MMOFPS game and the probability of interaction among participants. We implement the proposed method and perform experiments for the performance evaluation.

  • 본 연구에서는 보다 신뢰성 있고 정확한 정량적 강우예측자료를 생성하기 위하여 레이더강우 및 강우수치예보자료를 합성하는 기법을 제시하였고, 레이더 전처리 및 예측시스템, GIS와 연계한 물리적기반의 분포형모형인 Vflo모형 등 최신 수자원 IT기술을 활용하여 홍수기 돌발홍수에 대응한 초단기 정량적 강우-유출예측을 목적으로 향후 실시간으로 적용 가능한 분포형유출예측시스템의 기반을 구축하고자 하였다. 대상유역은 국지적인 고해상도 지형효과를 고려한 QPM이 개발되어 있는 금강권역의 용담댐유역이며, 예측 강우에 대한 호우사상은 2005년 이후 발생한 3개 강우사상을 대상으로 하였다. 한편, 기상 레이더 자료로부터 산정된 강수량의 수문학적 적용을 위하여 DEM, 토지피복도, 토양도 등의 기본 GIS자료들을 수집 및 구축하였고 물리적기반의 분포형모형(Vflo)의 입력인자로 사용하기 위한 12개의 공간분포형 수문매개변수들을 대표적인 GIS 소프트웨어인 ArcGIS 및 ArcView를 활용하여 추출하였으며, Vflo모형의 현업 적용가능성을 오프라인 상에서 검증해보았다. 모형 검증결과, GIS를 이용한 지형, 토양, 토지피복과 같은 물리적 특성을 사용한 모형의 초기 설정을 향상시킴에 의해 첨두유량, 유출량, 첨두도달시간차 등에서 만족할만한 결과를 보여주었다고 사료된다. 레이더 및 수치예보자료와 합성한 4가지의 형태(QPE, JQPE, QPM, BQPF)의 분포형 입력강우를 이용하여 적용해 본 결과 Nowcasting기법을 이용한 JQPF는 자료의 특성상 초기 1시간30분동안은 비교적 양호한 결과를 얻었으나 3시간 전후로 가면서 예측강우의 질이 저하되기 시작하였으나 QPM을 합성함으로써 생산한 BQPF는 보다 신뢰성있고 양호한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들은 향후 정량적 분포형강우 예측을 이용한 실시간 홍수유출 예측시 댐운영자는 리드타임(홍수선행시간)을 충분히 확보함으로서 안정적이고 예측 가능한 홍수조절을 하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이와 같이 다양한 단기저수지 유입량의 예측정보 제공으로 다목적댐 저수지 운영모형의 효용성을 제고하여 향후 실제 저수지 유입량 예측에 이용함으로써 저수지 단기운영효율 개선에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • 본 논문은 GPS 기술을 이용하여 지상 이동체의 위치 정보를 취득하고, 취득된 위치 정보를 이용하여 지상 이동체에 공공 정보와 상업 정보를 멀티미디어 데이터로 편집하여 실시간으로 제공하는 시스템을 제안하고 설계하였다. 설계한 시스템의 효용성과 신뢰성을 검증하기 위하여 PC와 Visual BASIC, 포토샵을 이용하여 시뮬레이션하였고, CYSTEL INC의 위성 수신기 모듈과 산업보드를 이용하여 제작하였다.

  • There is no doubt that advances in UAV technology have improved military performance. However, these advances require humans to adapt to new and complex operational systems. UAV has been rapidly expanding to a variety of fields such as reconnaissance, transportation, communication and aerial photographing recently. Also, with the development of UAV automation technology, one operator is able to supervisory-control multiple-UAVs. However, as the number of assigned UAV increases, the amount of information increases and this results in the workload of the operator increasing and deterioration in controlling performance. Accordingly, there is a need for a model to determine the level of overload an operator may encounter with regard to multiple-UAV but nationally this kind of research is currently lacking. Therefore, this paper provides an experimental platform for evaluating workload index effectiveness integrating multiple-UAV operational environments, GCS, and eye-tracking system followed by a limited survey of domestic and international studies of multi-UAV overload studies.

  • AGVS (Automated Guided Vehicle System) is a core technology of logistics automation which automatically moves specific objects or goods within a certain work space. Conventional AGVS generally requires the in-door localization system and each AGV equips expensive sensors such as laser, magnetic, inertial sensors for the route recognition and automatic navigation. thus the high installation cost is inevitable and there are many restrictions on route(path) modification or expansion. To address this issue, in this paper, we propose a cost-effective and scalable AGV based on a light-weight pattern recognition technique. The proposed pattern recognition technology not only enables autonomous driving by recognizing the route(path), but also provides a technique for figuring out the loc ation of AGV itself by recognizing the simple patterns(bar-code like) installed on the route. This significantly reduces the cost of implementing AGVS as well as benefiting from route modification and expansion. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed technique, we first implement a pattern recognition algorithm on a light-weight MCU(Micro Control Unit), and then verify the results by implementing an MCU_controlled AGV prototype.

The Improvement of Information Protection Service Cost Model in Public Institution (공공기관 정보보호서비스 대가 모델의 개선 방안)

  • In this paper, related studies were investigated by dividing them into cost-benefit analysis, security continuity services, and SW-centric calculations. The case analysis was conducted on A institutions in the United States, Japan and South Korea. Based on this, an improvement model was prepared through comparison with the current system. The SCS(Security Continuity Service) performance evaluation system-based information protection service cost calculation model is proposed. This method applies a service level agreement(SLA) and NIST Cybersecurity framework that are highly effective through cost-effectiveness analysis and calculates consideration based on characteristics, performance criteria, and weights by information protection service. This model can be used as a tool to objectively calculate the cost of information protection services at public institutions. It is also expected that this system can be established by strengthening the current recommended statutory level to the enforceability level, improving the evaluation system of state agencies and public institutions, introducing a verification system of information protection services by national certification bodies, and expanding its scope to all systems.

Study on the Effect of Augmented Reality Contents-Based Instruction for Adult Learners on Academic Achievement, Interest and Flow (증강현실을 활용한 IT 교육 콘텐츠가 성인 학습자의 학업 성취와 학습 흥미 및 몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of augmented reality contents based instruction for adult learners on academic achievement, interest and flow in learning. The subject populations were 80 students randomly sampled from an IT institute and they were evenly placed into two groups. One cell as an experimental group studied with augmented reality based contents and the other cell as a control group studied under textbook based instruction for two weeks. The experimental design of this study was the pre-posttest control group design. The results are summarized as follows: First, there was no significant difference in academic achievement between two groups. Second, the group studied with augmented reality based contents showed higher interest in learning than textbook based instruction group. Finally, there was a significant difference in flow in learning between two groups. The augment reality based instruction group showed higher scores of flow than the other group. The implication of this study is that augmented reality contents may have different effects for adult learners in academic achievement compared with younger learners.
