  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of TSJ-JSM (Job Stress Management) program, which was developed for improving interpersonal relationship and mitigating job stress among social workers through convergence methods with biomedical and social scientific measurements. In order to achieve the purpose, utilizing quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design was applied. Participants were recruited among social welfare residential facility workers with volunteer intention, and 21 participants divided into three groups randomly: experimental, comparison, and control groups consisted of 7 workers respectively. TSL-JSM program consisted of 12 sessions were implemented to experimental group, on the other hands, other employee assistant program with 12 stages was applied to comparison group. Data analysis for verification of TSL-JSM program was conducted with SPSS 25.0. Both social scientific and biomedical scientific measures show that TSL-JSM program has most strong effects on enhancing interpersonal relationship skills and allaying level of job stress by levels of increased HRV SDNN and decreased Corisol.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an ICT education program using films to understand and expand of the Interpersonal Caring Theory (ICT). The study was conducted from February 2020 to October 2020. The films were selected by analyzing 10 elements of ICT and the program was developed according to Kolb's Experience Learning Model. 11 experienced nurses participated in the pilot operation of the program and evaluated the validity of the films as experts. The films selected for the ICT education program included The Blind Side (Noticing), Babette's Feast (Participation), Good Will Hunting (Sharing), The King's Speech (Active-listening), The Cure (Companioning), Mr. Holland's Opus (Complimenting), Patch Adams (Comforting), The Shawshank Redemption (Hoping), Mission (Forgiving), The Throne (Accepting). The program consisted of a total of 12 sessions, and each session included discussion questions for the steps of the Experimental Learning Model. After the program was piloted, it was found that the selected films were considered appropriate (I-CVI=0.98) as a result of evaluating the feasibility of films selection according to ICT elements. The developed ICT education program using films can be used to enhance caring competencies of nurses and nursing college students.

  • This study aims to understand the effectiveness of the FRIENDS program in improving the resilience of adolescents. For this purpose, the following research questions were chosen: 1) What effect does the FRIENDS program have on the resilience of adolescents? 2) What difference does the FRIENDS program make for the subfactors of resilience in adolescents? 3) After completing the FRIENDS program, what sustained effects are there on adolescent resiliency? They were divided into experimental and control groups and the results from before and after group coaching as well as follow-up results were analyzed using SPSS 25.0. For measuring resilience, KRQ-53 created by Juhwan Kim was utilized in this study. Finally, based on prior research and under the guidance of his advisor, the author adapted the FRIENDS program to fit the study subjects' circumstances. This program was conducted across 10 sessions which were 50 minutes each. The study found that the FRIENDS group coaching program had a positive effect on enhancing the resilience of adolescents.Based on the discussion and research findings.

  • We present a supervised learning method that estimates the simulation parameters required to simulate the fabric from the static drape shape of a given fabric sample. The static drape shape was inspired by Cusick's drape, which is used in the apparel industry to classify fabrics according to their mechanical properties. The input vector of the training model consists of the feature vector extracted from the static drape and the density value of a fabric specimen. The output vector consists of six simulation parameters that have a significant influence on deriving the corresponding drape result. To generate a plausible and unbiased training data set, we first collect simulation parameters for 400 knit fabrics and generate a Gaussian Mixed Model (GMM) generation model from them. Next, a large number of simulation parameters are randomly sampled from the GMM model, and cloth simulation is performed for each sampled simulation parameter to create a virtual static drape. The generated training data is fitted with a log-linear regression model. To evaluate our method, we check the accuracy of the training results with a test data set and compare the visual similarity of the simulated drapes.

  • The present study investigated the related variables of cognitive function, subjective cognitive decline and cognitive training effects. The cognitive training was composed of mete-cognitive education and cognitive task performing. Twenty older adults attended for 14 weeks and were tested before and after the training. Results show that their cognitive level was related with age, self-esteem and personality traits. And subjective cognitive decline was related depression, anxiety, personality traits, self-efficacy, self-esteem and subjective age, but it does not reflect objective cognitive impairments. Their cognitive test scores were enhanced after training in MMSE, memory and executive function, and enhanced scores were related with age, subjective cognitive decline, anxiety, self-efficacy, self-esteem, subjective age and personality traits. Findings suggest one's personality and psychological state need to be considered for the effects of cognitive training.

  • The purpose of this study is to construct a personality strength-based group counseling program that can have a positive effect on the happiness of pop culture and arts people and to verify its effectiveness. To this end, 16 artists from entertainment agencies and art high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were recruited and assigned to experimental and control groups, and pre- and post-examinations were conducted on both groups as personality strengths and happiness tests. In order to verify the effectiveness of the program, the experimental group conducted a total of eight personality strength programs once a week and 60 minutes per session, and the control group was ignored. As a result of the study, the personality strength and happiness of the group participating in the program were significantly improved compared to the control group, showing that training to strengthen personality strength can lead a happier life by promoting the happiness of youth pop culture artists. This is meaningful in that it has created a starting point for managing the mental health of pop culture subjects.
