Geography has been defined traditionally as a discipline on regions, that is, as chorography, which means regional geography. Regional geography, which once withered up with the development of positivist geography, has gained recently its vitality. In particular, as social theories have been introduced actively into geography since the 1980s, new methodologies for regional geography have been suggested through a series of debates, for example, on spatiality, locality, restructuring, and post-modernism, though there remain still some important conceptual issues which have not yet settled down. On the other hand. new regional geography has made its development and significance for regional development in the age of the so-called globalization in the reality. That is, new regional geography has been required for a systematic conceptualization of region and for a theoretical consideration on the dynamic change of regions in the process of globalization. Furthermore, an emphasis can be given to geography education for new regional geography in order to understand new strategies for regional development.

The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of the mood state on the quality of life (QOL) of the female breast cancer survivor. The study was cross-sectional survey. This study was conducted from September 10th to September 20th, 2013. The subjects were 120 breast cancer survivors in Seoul city in Korea. The obtained data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The mean score of mood state was 39.20 and the mean score of the quality of life was 83.59. The levels of mood state and the quality of life were negatively correlated. The significant factors influencing quality of life were vigor and anger of the mood state, religion that explained 39.1% of the variance. The results suggests that appropriate support service should be provided to improve the quality of life after nurses evaluate breast cancer survivor's mood states and identify the symptoms of mood disturbances.

As media and product became variety, the propensity of the people are coming to be various. To search for some popularity in this various life, we can find the class called 'the maina.' Todays, worlds are changing so fast that the masses can only have short life but if the Mania takes shape, becomes longer as natural. Also the hundreds of animations are broadcasted in a day, almost of them are forgotten in memories. However, the animations could lasting its value which has the Mania. This thesis is a studies on the constitution of Mania from animation 'Fullmetal Alchemist's Character. We can know the audience were not just like it, but they get crazy for it by comparing Japanese animation industry in those days; before it has been shrinking. Also, various contents of Fullmetal Alchemist means had enough customers.

With the rapidly Slowing information, the research on the effcient information retrieval is increasing. Most of the retrieval systems for domestic cultural assets on the web have adopted a keyword-based search method. Those systems have required users to know the exact information about cultural assets such as name, keyword, etc. However, it is not easy to search the cultural assets with little information or only a remembrance of the shape. In this paper, we propose the retrieval system for cultural assets using both ontology-based and sketch-based search method to solve the Problems of existing systems. Our retrieval system allows users to use both text and sketch for a Query regardless of the type of information about cultural assets and to search in results using the ontology.

The purpose of this research is to understand the meanings and essentials of the experience of continuous participation in volunteer works, from an emic perspective. To conduct an in-depth study regarding 'live experiences', this research used phenomenological research method. For the method of data collection, purposive sampling is used with some in-depth interviews of five elderly people who have participated in volunteer works from 6 years to 23 years. As a result of the analysis of the collected data, the essence of continuous participation in volunteer works appeared to be 'regained happiness of life'. Elderly people who persist in volunteering were also passionate in taking part in social activities, eager to improve their cognitive functions, and likely to put more effort in maintaining their own health in order to continue the volunteer works. These are the factors that satisfy successful ageing. This research has its object in preparing systematic support at a national level to prevent the volunteer works of the elderly people from ending up in mere personal virtue, so as to successfully manage the later stage of life.

In the 1970s, increasing penetration of the housing co-housing policy, reconstruction be a great success to improve 1990‘s Old aged apartment's performance. However, in case of reconstruction, it causes the problem such as city environment destruction, resource waste, real-estate speculation etc. With the trend of sustainable construction and resource recycling, remodeling gets more attention than before. In case of country's remodeling, conventional method causes some problems such as delayed construction period and increased cost. Therefore, efforts that obtain economical efficiency are required to power remodeling through use of prefabrication method like PC technology that is useful for reduction effect of construction period, cost and site labor and excellent quality. This research indicates reduceing factor for facilitating prefabrication method and technology selecting framework through specific of Expanding Floor method and remodeling cases to increase the efficiency of remodeling, considers construction parties approaching plan for prefabrication as occasion that powers remodeling.

Proportional-integral-derivative(P1D) controllers have been still widely used in industrial processes due to their simplicity, effectiveness, robustness for a wide range of operating conditions, and the familiarity of control engineers. And a number of recent papers in fuzzy systems are showing that fuzzy systems are universal approximators. That is, fuzzy controllers are capable of approximating any real continuous function on a compact set of arbitrary accuracy. In this paper, we derive the linear PID control law from the fuzzy control algorithm where all fuzzy sets for representing plant state variables and a control variable use common triangular types. We first lead a linear PD control law from a fuzzy logic control with only two fuzzy sets for error and change-of-error. And then we derive the linear PID control law from a fuzzy controller. We here assumed that the intervals of error, change-of-error, and integral error could be partitioned into arbitrary numbers, respectively. As a result, a linear PID controller is only a sort of various fuzzy logic controls.

Changes in political and economic environments require a new concept of 'culture' and a paradigm shift in cultural policies. Especially, broadcasting is needed to construct a productive infra-structure in order to play its role as culture industry in multi-channel environments caused by the progress of digital technology. In addition, Korea-USA FTA Agreement and a subsequently expected open policy of broadcasting market raise issues of a flow of foreign capital and a compatibility of cultural diversities and cultural identities. From this perspective, this study attempts to suggest alternatives for cultural diversity of program contents in new global media environments. More specifically, these alternatives examine the meaning and achievements of co-production of broadcasting programs as an active and direct method to preserve cultural identities and universalities of cultural contents at the same time. Details of this study are as follows: thorough review of internation co-production and program format industries and their possibilities to overcome cultural harriers and to provide local alternatives.

Space Syntax methodology can be quantitatively calculated spatial cognitive analysis by number of turns_ In the existing GIS-based spatial information service provide 'physical distance' due to the shortest distance as a priority. but pedestrians tends to choose the path with concerned a lot of emphasis of safety, more vitality way from the crime at night, traffic accidents, and comfort on a road. Human's 'psychological distance' may reflect the spatial information services and provided path should be. In this study, using GIS Road Data implements the axial map with idea of the linear simplification principles. Traditional axial map of the Space Syntax get the assumption from the actual traffic values by comparing the results of correlation relationship. Through these methods, the actual relationship between traffic and test values have the correlation value($R^2$= 0.5387) 50% level and was able to get the results.

As 'Big data' has been one of challenging issues, development of new services using Social Network Service (SNS) which is its typical example became active. SNS has developed as a media where everyone communicates at real time and the number of SNS opinion analyzing services is increasing. Meanwhile, new approach to acquire and analyze twitter data becomes necessary in TV advertisement system. This paper proposes LiveAD system, which store and analyze big data such as twitter data as well as analyze TV advertising effect based on twitter data. As a proof of concept, the proposed system has been implemented collecting and analyzing twitter data using Hadoop. The result of collected information over the system increases the chance of analyzing TV advertising effect on twitter in real-time.
