Using data from an online survey in Korea, this study examines factors affecting college students' intention to use wearable device based on an extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT) (UTAUT2 Model). The results of the regression analysis suggest that performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions from original UTAUT are statistically significant variables to explain college students' intention to use wearable device. Also, the results of the data analysis reveal that added factors from UTAUT2 like hedonic motivation and price value are influential factors to explain intention to use wearable device. In addition, this study suggests that future studies need to test the UTAUT2 model in the context of new information and communication technologies.

Recently, mobile and smart devices are rapidly spreading. As a result, real estate services, which were formerly face-to-face, have now been replaced by mobile environments. This study focuses on the real estate app service and 261 samples were used for the empirical analysis. The results of the hypotheses test using structural equation model are summarized as follows. First, performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, security and aesthetic perceived by users of real estate services have positively influence on positive attitude, but effort expectancy and social influence do not. Second, positive attitude of real estate services have positive effects on service Acceptance. Third, involvement moderated the relationship between positive attitude and service Acceptance. Based on the results of the analysis, it provided meaningful implications for practitioners and researchers in related fields.

The purpose of this study is to explain users' wearable healthcare device adoption using performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating condition, hedonic motivation and price value of UTAUT2, and to identify the causal relationship between intention to use wearable healthcare device and innovativeness. The research model proposed in this study is based on UTAUT2(Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology). In specific, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating condition, hedonic motivation and price value of UTAUT2 and innovativeness are adopted in our research model. To validate the research model, we carry out the analysis of the survey data using Smart PLS 3.0 to test the hypotheses. According to the empirical analysis results, this study confirms that Innovativeness have significant effects on the performance expectancy, effort expectancy, Facilitating condition, Hedonic motivation, and price Value of wearable healthcare devices. It also finds that the performance expectancy, effort expectancy, Facilitating condition, hedonic motivation, and price value affects the intention to use wearable healthcare devices.

Recently, there has been increasing interest in renewable energy in the agricultural sector. Agrophotovoltaics, producing electricity while farming, has attracted much attention. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the acceptance intention of Agrophotovoltaics. Using the UTAUT2 model, we designed a research model to examine the impact of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, social influence, and investment utility on the intention to adopt Agrophotovoltaics through the mediation effect of the user's innovativeness. We conducted a survey on farmers and obtained 212 responses for the final analysis. The results showed that effort expectancy and innovativeness significantly positively affected the intention to adopt Agrophotovoltaics. Furthermore, innovativeness was found to fully mediate the relationship among performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, investment utility, and acceptance intention. This suggests that focusing supportive measures on innovative groups could promote the adoption of Agrophotovoltaics.
The UTAUT was presented as a comprehensive of eight existing theories to improve the limit of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and it has been also utilizing in various fields related to acceptance and diffusion of new technology. In this study, we analyzed factors utilized in UTAUT through meta-analysis, and confirms the consistency of the model. We presented the principal factors and the additional factors. Moreover, we presented differences and suggestions through comparative analysis with previous researches. The meta-analysis showed that satisfaction, hedonic motivation, attitude, perceived enjoyment showed a important factors as additional factors. Based on this result, we presented an extended UTAUT model. In the case of Korea studies, it was found that increasing the degree of behavior intention is the most important factor leading to use behavior. The results of this research will be able to support researchers who research the acceptance and diffusion of new technologies, and companies trying to launch new products.
The purpose of this study was to examine the intention of consumer acceptance of technology in agricultural production by applying the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) to smart farm. In particular, this study analyzed the intention to accept the technology of agricultural students, farmers, start-up farmers, returning farmers, and returnees in the general manufacturing industry and high-tech industries, and in agricultural sectors corresponding to primary industries. The results showed that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, IT development level, and reliability had a significant influence on the intention to use smart farm technology. However, effort expectancy and price value were rejected because no significant impact on use intention was tested. In addition, the influences of the variables showing their influence were reliability (β=.569) > IT development level (β=.252) > social influence (β=.235) > performance expectancy (β=.182) > facilitating conditions (β=.134).
Various studies have been conducted on factors influencing the adoption of new technologies. In particular, the factors influencing customers' acceptance of new technologies that emerged along with the arrival of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Theoretical models are mainly based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) or Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology : UTAUT2). However, there are no trust variables in these models. In this study, we added trust variable and tested augmented reality(AR). Three types - trust as an independent variable, as a mediating variable, and as a moderating variable - were analyzed statistically. As a result, trust was most explanatory when viewed as a mediating variable between independent variables and intention to use. In theory, it has been shown that trust acts as a mediating effect. In practice, trust is most important in accepting new technologies, so it is important to prioritize trust.
In this study, the concept of eXtended Reality Devices(XR) is defined, how it is applied by industry and how it will develop in the future, and based on the expanded integrated technology acceptance theory and innovation resistance, We tried to confirm through empirical analysis how the influencing variables affect. We carry out the analysis of the hypotheses using PLS Structural Equation Modeling. According to the empirical analysis results, this study confirms that innovativeness has a significant effect on UTAUT2's acceptance variables(performance expectation, effort expectation, hedonic motivation, price value) for XR devices, and these variables affect attitudes and acceptance of XR. and the pace of change of XR has a significant effect on perceived risk, and the perceived risk perceived by consumers mediates the pace of change and innovation resistance, and has a significant effect on innovation resistance. and innovation resistance to XR devices had a significant negative effect on acceptance. This study has its meaning because it found out that it deals expansively and comprehensively with personal innovation, the UTAUT2's acceptance variables, and the effects of perceived risk factors mediating the pace of change and resistance to innovation. In addition, it suggests that in order for innovative technologies such as XR to advance to the stage of market expansion, it is important to present strategies to reduce resistance to new technologies as much as the value to be provided to consumers.
As virtual assistants rapidly diffused into the market, the voice shopping market is expected to expand. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that determine the consumers' intention to adopt voice shopping by using the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology(UTAUT). In this study, we set variables that influence the intention to adoption of voice shopping with performance expectation and effort expectations as the variables of UTAUT and playfulness expectations as an extended variable. In addition, we also include four voice secretary attributes such as response accuracy, compatibility, social presence, and safety in our research model to investigate the source of motivation of voice shopping adoption. The result of this analysis shows that variables such as performance expectation, effort expectation, and amusement expectation have a positive effect on the intention to adoption of voice shopping. With respect to the four voice shopping attributes, compatibility had a positive effect on performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and playfulness expectancy. Social presence has a positive effect on playfulness expectancy. Safety has a positive effect on effort expectancy and playfulness expectancy. On the other hand, response accuracy is not significant for performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and playfulness expectancy. This study reveals the determinants of intention to adopt the new purchasing method called voice shopping, and suggests the important factors for the innovation of commerce business.

Purpose: Nowadays, many restaurants use serving robots. Initially, many people thought that Covid-19 caused the spread of serving robots. However, even as the endemic, many restaurants still use serving robots. Therefore, this study examines why many customers choose restaurants with serving robots, using the UTAUT2 framework. Additionally, this study explores whether shyness has a moderating effect on these factors. Research design, data and methodology: Data were collected from 307 consumers who had visited a restaurant using a serving robot and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software. A total of 286 datasets were analyzed. Result: We found that the precedence factors of UTAUT2 (Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Condition, Hedonic Motivation) had a positive effect on attitude. Furthermore, attitude had a significant positive effect on Behavioral Intention. However, shyness did not appear to have a moderating effect among these factors. This is likely due to customers using serving robots for very short time, as identified in the literature review. Conclusions: As a result of this study, it was explained that Hedonic Motivation had the most significant positive effect on shaping attitudes toward restaurants using serving robots through the UTAUT2 model.
