Mutagenicity Studies of Cosmetic Dyes (2) (외용색소의 유전독성에 관한 연구(2))

  • The mutagenicity of three external colorants, lake red CBA (D&C Red No.9, R-9), rhodamine B stearate (D&C Red No.37, R-37) and permanent orange (D&C Orange No.17, O-17) was evaluated. In this study, the genetic toxicity of the these dyes was examined by in vitro chromosome aberration test in cultured mammalian cells, in vivo micronucleus test in ddY mice, and somatic mutation and recombination test (SMART) in Drosophila melanogaster. Three dyes did not induce mutagenicity in chromosome aberration test and micronucleus test. But Red No.9 and Red No. 37 showed slight increase of abnormal wing spots in Drosophila melanogaster.

Segmentation of Arcs and Line Segments in Planar Curve Using CI Method (CI 방법을 이용한 2차원 곡선 내의 호 및 선분 분리)

  • The detected arcs by the cone intersection(CI) method exist within a tolerant error from the original curve. But the position of breakpoint by the CI method is sensitive to the tolerant error. The deviation of breakpoint position makes ill effects to the detection of arc center or radius. In this paper a improved CI method for center detection and arc segmentation is proposed. The detected arcs from curves by the proposed method have very stable mean of deviations from the original curves. The experimental results show that the position of breakpoint by the proposed method is closer to real position than the one by other methods.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the incidence of bacterial leaf blight (BLB) in Milyang 30 which was previously considered to be resistant to Xanthomonas campestris pv. oryzae Seeds of Milyang 30 were collected from Suweon, Milyang and Haenam. When rice plants from different source were inoculated at the maximum tillering stage and flag leaf stage, reactions of Milyang 30 were consistant. The susceptibility of Milyang 30 was found to be due to infection with tome isolates in the pathotype II of X. campestris pv. oryzae.

  • 이동통신망의 발전으로 인해 한정적인 주파수 자원을 효율적으로 사용하여 폭증하는 가입자를 수용하기 위해 셀의 반경은 점점 작아지고 있다. 가입자에게 신규호의 실패보다 더 민감한 핸드오프호가 자주 발생함에 따라 핸드오프호 처리의 중요성이 증대되었다. 따라서, 셀마다 핸드오프호를 위한 예약 채널을 두어 어느 정도 신규호의 블록킹율의 증가를 감수하더라도, 핸드오프호의 강제종료율을 낮추는 방법이 제안되었다. 이러한 예약 채널 할당 기법에서는 예약 채널을 몇 개로 할 것인가가 중요한 문제가 된다. 왜냐하면 예약 채널 수를 과다하게 설정하면 핸드오프가 빈번하지 않은 셀에서는 채널의 낭비를 초래하고, 적게 설정하면 핸드오프가 빈번한 셀은 핸드오프 강제종료율이 높아지게 되기 때문이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문은 신경망 모델 중 다층 퍼셉트론을 이용하여 셀에서 요구되는 최적의 예약율을 구하여 셀의 환경이 변할 때마다 적용할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 모의 실험을 통해 이동통신 시스템에서의 핸드오프 예약율을 주기적으로 최적화 시킴으로써 핸드오프가 자주 발생하는 셀에서는 핸드오프 강제종료율을 낮추고, 핸드오프가 빈번하지 않은 셀은 채널의 손실을 막아 시스템의 전체적인 효율이 향상됨을 보인다.

서비스접점 종업원의 조직시민행동이 호의적 구전에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 고객관점의 OCB를 중심으로 -

  • 본 연구는 기업의 성과를 향상시키는 중요한 요소로 알려진 종업원의 조직시민행동을 고객관점에서 측정하고, 관련 변수들인 서비스품질, 고객만족, 호의적 구전과의 인과관계를 실증적으로 규명해보고자 하였다. 그동안 마케팅에서 OCB에 관한 많은 연구가 있었지만, 선행 연구들은 조직의 관점에서 종업원의 OCB를 측정하는 연구가 대부분이었다. 자료 수집 단계에 있어 OCB의 효과를 좀 더 폭넓은 산업에 걸쳐 파악하고자 미용실과, 주점, 패스트푸드 점 등 다양한 서비스산업 이용자를 대상으로 설문지를 수집하였다. 분석결과, 접점종업원의 조직시민행동과 관련한 몇 가지 중요한 사항을 발견할 수 있었다. 첫째, 종업원의 OCB는 고객이 지각하는 서비스품질에 유의한 관계가 있었다. 즉, 고객들이 관찰하기에 종업원들이 규정된 역할을 초월하여 조직 내 동료들을 도와주고 고객의 편의성을 지향하며 그들이 속해 있는 조직에 대해 긍정적인 자세를 가지고 있는 것으로 판단되면, 고객들은 종업원을 신뢰하고, 또 그들에게서 제공받는 서비스품질을 높게 지각한다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 조직시민행동은 서비스품질을 매개로 하여 고객만족에 간접적인 영향을 미친다는 사실을 발견하였다. 마지막으로 만족한 고객은 호의적인 구전행동을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 구전은 기업의 공식적인 마케팅 전략 이상의 효과를 가지는 촉진 도구이다. 따라서 서비스조직은 고객의 성과를 향상시키기 위해 종업원의 OCB를 관리해야 함을 이해할 수 있었다.

The Effects of Environmental Dynamism on Relationship Characteristics, Credibility, and Benevolence in Distribution Channel System (환경의 동태성이 유통경로 시스템에서 관계특성, 그리고 신용과 호의에 미치는 영향)

  • While a number of studies have recognized the importance of environment of channel systems and consequences of changed environment, only limited studies have dealt with this issue theoretically and practically. The purpose of this study is to empirically validate whether one dimension of environment, called dynamism, has an influence on the relationship characteristics such as transaction specific investment opportunism and conflict or not: further, it is designed to delve into whether these relationship characteristics have any influence on one crucial relationship quality, 'trust' and its two constituent dimensions - credibility and benevolence. In order to provide empirical validation, a survey was conducted to 163 sales office managers at a major newspaper publisher in Korea. An analysis of the data retrieved from this survey indicated that while environmental dynamism has a positive influence on the publisher's opportunism and conflict perceived by the sales office managers, it did not show a direct influence on the transaction specific investment made by the publisher. Furthermore, while publisher's transaction specific investment had a positive influence on the credibility and the benevolence respectively, publisher's opportunism and level of sales office conflict had a negative influence on the credibility and the benevolence respectively. Currently, a publisher is facing an unprecedentedly dynamic environment. This study should provide ample implications for the publisher in establishing trust, which is a crucial condition in developing and maintaining a long-term successful relationship with its sales offices.

A Study on East Asian Thoughts in the Novels Written by Choi In-ho (최인호 장편소설에 나타난 동아시아 사상 연구)

  • In this paper, East Asian thoughts in Choi In-ho's novels have been studied based on Emmanuel Levinas' philosophical theories. He is a philosopher who dealt with the matter of subject formed through the encounter the others. The author of this paper quoted his ethics of responsibility, viewing that East-Asian thoughts put stress on the relationship with the others. The conclusions are like these; first, in the novel, Sang Do, there is a true relationship between the subject and the others thinking in the side of the other. Human relationship is like Sangsunyaksoo, which means when subject goes low, there appears a place the other can stay in. Second, in the novel Yoorim the essence of Neo-Confucianism shows up through Kyung thought, in which subject serves on the other in respect. That's like what Levinas said, "responsibility to others". Third, in the novel The Road without Road there appears Jinsokppuli, the central value of Korean Buddhists' Zen thoughts, meaning that you are not differentiated from me. In the times when the nation had been lost, Kyung Ho, who answered the call of people was a man who found what Levinas said, "the other who stays in me". As a conclusion the thoughts such as Sangsunyaksoo, Kyung, and Muae which show up in Choi In-ho's novels are connected with Levinas' ethics of responsibility and well shown as good examples of East Asian ethics.

The Influence of Muddy Water in Imha Reservoir on the Ichthyofauna and Fish Growth (임하호의 탁수가 어류상 및 어류생장에 미치는 영향)

  • The number of investigated fish collected from the Andong and the Imha reservoir were 2,540 individuals 20 species belonging to 7 families, 850 individuals 11 species belonging to 4 families respectively from May 2005 to March 2006. The total number of the common 3 species individuals investigated caught from the Andong reservoir and the Imha reservoir were 486 individuals and 124 individuals respectively. The investigated individuals is similar(${\pm}2.5$ mm) to 171 individuals make a comparative study. The Opsariichthys uncirostris, Culter brevicauda, Hemiculter eigenmanni of length-weight relationship were TW = $0.00007TL^{3.0543}$, TW = $0.0000009TL^{3.3654}$, TW = $0.00000^{3.3872}$ in the Andong reservoir and TW = $0.00002TL^{2.8493}$, TW = $0.00001TL^{2.8744}$, TW = $0.000004TL^{3.1082}$ in the Imha reservoir respectively. The Condition factor(K) of the Andong reservoir showed the positive slopes in all three species and to be in a good nutrition condition; where as the condition factor(K) of the Imha reservoir showed the negative slopes in two species except in H. eigenmanni and appeared to be in a little bad nutrition condition. Relative condition factor(Kn) indicating that O. uncirostris and C. brevicauda in Andong reservoir is more rotund than ones of Imha reservoir but H. eigenmanni in the Imha reservoir is more rotund than the ones of the Andong reservoir.

Corrosion Stability of Iron Artifacts after Treating with Water Treatment (수처리제를 사용한 철제유물의 부식 안정성 연구)

  • Desalination is the main focus of the stabilization of iron artifacts. However, drawbacks such as re-corrosion are noted due to the uncertainty in the elimination of the corrosive factors and artifacts. Several studies have been carried out on the effects of corrosion inhibitors to overcome these shortcomings. In this study, the effects of type 3 water treatment on corrosion inhibitors were investigated. Surfaces of samples that contained film corrosion inhibitors on their surfaces were analyzed. The results revealed that the surface rust was removed from the sample of type 1 No. 2 that was mainly composed of phosphate. The average weight reduction rates of re-corrosion samples were 0.58, 0.03, and 0.07% for type 1 No. 2, type 2 No. 2, and type 3 No. 2 respectively. The changes in the $Cl^-$ ion, a corrosive agent were found to be 28.60, -4.08, and -1.94 ppm for type 1 No. 2, type 2 No. 2, and type 3 No. 2 respectively. The water-treated films were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). It was found that type 2 No. 2 had less Fe the basis metal, than that in type 3 No. 2 indicating much better film. Moreover, Si content was higher in type 2 No. 2, based on the silicate content, than in type 3 No. 2. They are speculated to be the reason or the formation of a better film. Type 1 No. 2, which is mainly composed of phosphate, would be inappropriate as a metal artifact conservation treatment. It was determined that type 2 No. 2 and type 3 No. 2 water treatments, which are mainly composed of silicate, provided excellent corrosion inhibiting effects. Corrosion inhibitors could be used as emergency treatment agents during the excavation of iron artifacts.
