  • 인간의 성공과 행복은 스스로 어떻게 하느냐에 달려있다. 끈기와 집념, 성실과 근면, 정직과 선의, 박애와 상조, 시간관리와 끊임없는 자기계발 등…. 다시 말해 스스로 행복해지고 성공할 수 있다는 신념이 인간의 행복과 성공을 만든다. 어느 시대를 막론하고 사람들 중 일부는 국가나 제도의 힘을 빌려 행복과 성공을 보장 받으려 할 뿐 스스로 성취하려 하지 않는 경향이 있다. 이번 달부터 이런 낡은 정신에서 벗어나 보다 고양된 자세를 통해 삶을 깊이 있게 다듬어 나간 사람들의 이야기를 싣는다.

Happiness of kindergarten teachers: A Q-methodology approach (유치원 교사의 행복에 대한 인식 : Q방법론적 접근)

  • This study analyzed the structural types of happiness that kindergarten teachers feel and the features of each happiness type to increase the happiness of kindergarten teachers. The subjects of this study were 41 kindergarten teachers working at a kindergarten in D city. They were chosen randomly. The Q-methodology, which allows in-depth measurements of people's subjective perception of happiness, was employed. The results and further analysis revealed 4 structural types of happiness: 1) self-realization type, who feels happiness while setting goals and achieving them; 2) inner satisfaction type, who thinks that happiness can be found in the current status; 3) social relationship type, who emphasizes a good relationship with others; and 4) personal belief type, who emphasizes living life in one's own style without being bothered by others.

  • 7만 과천시민의 편익과 복리증진을 위해 체육 문화시설 등을 관리 운영하고 있는 '과천시설관리공단'은 지방 공기업의 모범이자 표상(表象)으로 유명하다. 이곳이 전국적으로 주목을 받는 가장 큰 이유는 '시민과 임직원의 안전'을 경영방침의 최우선으로 내세우고, 빈틈없는 안전관리를 펼쳐 왔기 때문이다. 이런 안전경영의 중심에는 이성재 이사장이 있다. 이 이사장은 2006년 취임 당시부터 고객 및 직원의 행복과 안전을 먼저 생각하는 '서번트 리더십'을 강력히 추진해왔다. 그 결과 안전보건에 대한 높은 공적을 인정받아 올해 산업안전보건강조주간 기념식에서 영예의 대통령표창을 수상했다. 안전경영으로 행복도시 과천을 만들어가고 있는 이성재 이사장을 만나 그만의 신념 등을 들어봤다.

Mediating Effect of Rumination on the Relationship between Savoring Beliefs and Positive Emotion (향유신념과 긍정정서의 관계에 미치는 반추의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest enhancing positive emotions by examining the relationship between savoring belief, rumination, and positive emotion for university and graduate students. For this purpose, a questionnaire measuring savoring beliefs, ruminations, and positive emotion was conducted for 235 university and graduate students in Seoul. As a result of the Structural modeling analysis, students' savoring beliefs had a positive effect on positive emotion and negative effect on rumination, and rumination had a negative effect on positive emotion. Rumination showed a partial mediating effect on the relationship between savoring beliefs and positive emotion. The results of this study provide important meaning that the savoring beliefs is a process of exploring the positive emotion because it does not deal with the mechanism of reinforcing positive emotions in detail. That is, it is meaningful in that it confirms the effect of an effective savoring strategy to increase the positive emotion and at the same time reveals the mechanism. Rather than simply focusing on the savoring beliefs, it can be expected that positive emotion will be improved by intervening with rumination.

  • 강원도 춘천시에 최근 새로운 변화의 바람이 불고 있다. 우 오수관로를 신설하고 재정비함으로써 하수관거의 기능을 개선하고 하수처리장의 운영효율을 증대시키는 공사가 대대적으로 펼쳐지고 있는 것이다. 2015년 1월, 이 사업이 완료되면 춘천시는 방류 수역 수질개선으로 악취가 저감되고 쾌적한 환경이 조성되는 등 지역주민의 생활환경이 크게 개선되는 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 더불어 효율적인 하수관 유지보수체계도 구축할 수 있게 된다. 사실상 더욱 살기 좋은 춘천시의 등장이 임박한 것이다. 이런 행복한 변화를 만들어내고 있는 주인공은 바로 '코오롱글로벌'이다. '코오롱글로벌 춘천시 하수관거정비 임대형민자사업현장'은 춘천시를 전국 제일의 행복도시로 만들겠다는 신념으로 시공에 임하고 있다. 때문에 공사의 품질을 좌우하는 '안전'에 만전을 기하고 있다. 철저한 안전관리를 통해 춘천을 최고의 주거환경을 갖춘 도시로 변화시키고 있는 이곳 현장을 찾아가 봤다.

Is Does Failure Mindset Transmitted through Generations?: The Dual Mediating Effects of Mother's Happiness and Mother-Adolescent Open Communication (실패 마인드셋은 세대 간 전승되는가?: 어머니의 행복감과 개방적 의사소통의 이중매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between failure mindset of the mother and adolescent, along with the mediating effects of mother's happiness and mother-adolescents (first and second-year middle school students in Seoul) open communication. For this study, self-reported data of 270 mother-adolescent dyads were analyzed using SPSS and Process macro Model 6. The results revealed that the mother's failure mindset directly predicted their adolescent's failure mindset. The mediating effect of the mother-adolescent open communication was significant, but the mediating effect of the mother's happiness was not significant. However, the mediation effect of the mother's failure mindset on the adolescent's failure mindset through mother's happiness and mother-adolescent open communication was significant. These results suggest that "failure-is-enhancing" mindset of mothers improve their positive affect and parenting skills, which contributes to developing adolescent's belief system about failure. Putting the results together, this study is significant in that it identified the intergenerational relationship of the failure mindset. Besides, the study results serve as a foundation for intervening on the adolescent's failure mindset by verifying the developmental mechanism of the failure mindset.

  • So far, the rationality of management decisions has been limited to the economic rationality of maximizing self-interest. However, management rationality in the ESG era, which pursues the interests of the environment, society, and the company from the perspective of harmony and balance, requires new judgment standards. The goal of ESG management is sustainable development. Sustainable development goes beyond the accumulation of wealth, which was the goal of the past economy, and aims for the happiness of the entire society, including coexistence and fair development that develops together with the entire society. From Aristotle's perspective, the happiness of the entire society promoted by sustainable development is no different from the highest good of citizens, members of the community. Accordingly, this paper attempted to explore the new management rationality required for managers in the ESG era by comparing Aristotle's concept of citizenship with the concept of 'corporate citizenship', one of the main concepts of ESG management. Through this, we sought to show that companies are essentially communal entities and that the company's pursuit of profit requires rationality of balance and harmony with environmental and social interests.

Mothers' Play Beliefs and Preschoolers' Happiness: The Mediating Role of Creative Home Environment and Preschoolers' Playfulness (어머니의 놀이신념과 유아의 행복: 창의적 가정환경과 유아 놀이성의 매개효과)

  • Objective: The present study aimed to investigate the sequential mediation effects of creative home environment and preschoolers' playfulness on the relationship between mothers' play beliefs and preschoolers' happiness. Methods: The subjects of this study were 233 preschoolers between the ages of 3 and 5 and their mothers. Mothers were asked to complete a questionnaire that assessed their beliefs about play, the creative home environment they provided, as well as their child's playfulness and happiness. The data collected were analyzed using the SPSS Process Macro program to investigate the sequential mediating effects. Results: The study found that the mothers' play support beliefs were directly associated with their preschoolers' happiness. Additionally, the creative home environment was found to mediate the relationship between the mother's play beliefs and their preschooler's happiness. The children's playfulness was also identified as a mediator in the relationship between the mother's play beliefs and their preschooler's happiness. Furthermore, the findings of this study indicated that the relationship between the mother's play beliefs and preschoolers' happiness was sequentially mediated by the creative home environment and preschoolers' playfulness. Conclusion/Implications: Findings of this study provide insights into the potential development of a parent education program aimed at modifying mothers' play beliefs and the home environment.

Thwarted belongingness: Concept Analysis (좌절된 소속감의 개념분석)

  • The purpose of this study is conceptual analysis study on the thwarted belongingness, and was based on the conceptual analysis method of Walker & Avant to make clear concept. Thwarted belongingness can be defined by the following attributes: distorted beliefs, insufficient need to belong, a sense of alienation, and insufficient interaction and affection needs. The prerequisites for thwarted belongingness were social isolation, experiences of exclusion or conflict in interpersonal relationships, perfectionist tendencies, and sensitivity to rejection. The consequences occurring as a result of thwarted belongingness were suicidal ideation, decreased happiness and life satisfaction, negative emotions such as anxiety about rejection, depression, shame, loneliness, stress or anger, aggression, hostility and self-criticism, despair, suppression of emotional expression, lethargy, self-exclusion from relationships, and identity confusion. This study is valuable to identify the extent of preventable nursing interventions related to individual mental health and suicidal ideation related to interpersonal relationships, and suggests future tool development and field studies of thwarted belongingness.

A Study on Self efficacy Difference between User and Nonuser of Smartphone (자기 효능감에 의한 스마트폰 사용의도 연구)

  • Self efficacy is a term used in psychology, roughly corresponding to a person's belief in their own competence. It has been defined as the belief that one is capable of performing in a certain manner to attain certain goals. It is believed that our personalized ideas of self-efficacy affect our social interactions in almost every way. Understanding how to foster the development of self-efficacy is a vitally important goal for positive psychology because it can lead to living a more productive and happy life. The objective of this study is to show difference of the relationship between user and non-user in smartphone by self efficacy. For this purpose, we propose a research model which consists of 3type' self efficacy. For empirical test of this model, the sample data is collected from employee in a company and divided into two groups by user and nonuser. By multi-group analysis, we show two groups are different from each other in the relationship between user and nonuser of smartphone. Results show difference of the relationship smartphone user and non-user's self-efficacy(self-control self-efficiacy and problem difficulty preference).
