  • A study has designing on the structure of new radio relay for maritime safety communications system with economical and practical useful, that purpose be capable to exceedingly minimum the accident of small ship in sea, that is system. As Receive the urgency frequency from the SSB transceiver in a small fishery that transmit to convert VHF transceiver frequency. Otherwise, the VHF transmitter frequency is converting to the SSB receiver frequency. It has modeling of the bi-directional relay system, that is proposing the methode on the capability to mutual urgency communication between a SSB transceiver ship and VHF transceiver ship by new maritime safety communications system.

  • It is very important to fully understand the concepts, causes and corrections of ship's transverse inclination which is classified into Heel, List and Loll. Particularly, it is presumed that some recent disaster at sea is related to negative GM developed by the loss of stability during sailing. In this study, actual 'Angle of Loll' is simulated by model-ship experiment and the result is compared with calculated value under same condition. Furthermore, how to distinguish Loll from List and the way to correct the 'Angle of Loll' for officers are described.

  • The transportations of most of cargoes in world trade have been fulfilled through sea lanes and it seems this trend will not change in near future. Nowadays, inview of the technical aspects of merchant vessels, they are continuously enlarged in hull size and greatly specialized in structure for the cargo spaces and dramatically automatized in navigating, piloting, cargo operating and various other operations, which unavoidably require high technicals in operating the modern merchant vessels. On the contrary to the trend of requiring of operating high technicals, the capabilities of crew on board have been gradually declining in technical competence and their morale for accomplishing their duties on board vessels has greatly falled won compared with that of old days. The above result inevitably brings many problems in operating modern vessels and causes accidents which are avoidable through good competence and high morale of the crew. We intend to analyze the causes of several great sea accident with which it seems some human errors are connected more or less directly or indirectly. We hope that this study could suggest some measures which help to prevent the recurrence of similar accidents by Korean ship's crews.

Transverseless AFRAMAX급 이중선체 유조선 구조부재의 안전성평가

  • 본 연구에서는 힁부재가 없는 AFRAMAX급 신구조 방식의 유조선을 개발하고자 하였다. 설계의 기본 개념은 1) 이중선체구조를 채용하여 해난사고 발생시 기름유출 방지를 피하고, 2) 힁부재가 없는 극히 단순한 선체구조를 채용하여 용접 로봇등을 활용한 자동건조 비율을 높임으로써 건조 생산성을 향상시키는데 주안점을 두고 있다. 설계 결과 얻어진 선체구조는 기존의 유조선 구 조와 매우 상이하다. 초기구조설계단계에서 구조 부재의 치수는 기존의 선급설계 지침을 활용 하여 결정하였으나, 기존의 유조선 구조와 비교하여 구조배치가 크게 바뀌어 졌기 때문에 기존의 선급설계지침을 만족했다고 해서 구성부재와 국부구조뿐만 아니라 구조 전체적으로도 충분한 구조안전성을 가지고 있는지는 확실치 않다. 따라서 직접구조해석에 의한 구조안전성 평가가 필수적으로 요구되며, 이를 위해 저자들은 선체구조의 최종 종강도(ultimate longitudinal strength), 최종 힁강도(ultimate transverse strength) 및 최종 국부강도(ultimate local strength )를 기준으로한 구조안전성 평가를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 이들 중에서 국부 구조부재에 대한 안전성평가 문제만을 다루었다. 결론적으로, 본 연구에서 개발한 선체구조는 건전상태(intact condition)하에서 뿐만 아니라 손상상태하에서도 구조부재는 좌굴 또는 붕괴하지 않고 전반적 으로 충분한 구조안전성을 가지고 있다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다.

Also by a vessel immediacy law 4th favor regulation even from our country in order to establish a radio communication equipment. But it is a GMDSS and it follows in introduction of new communication system and the region change is brought about in vessel communication system and the many problem point occurs. Against the problem point of the our country marine communication which it follows hereupon it researches and it does to sleep.

  • This study focuses on an analytical approach to calculate crane lifting forces for a sunken ship in consideration oj elongation of crane ropes. The method takes into account the relation of lifting forces acting in wire rope slings to the inclination of the ship's hull including the effect of lug positions. For lifting analysis, the Euler angles are defined to represent the inclination of a sunken ship in developing the static force and moment equations. An additional compatability condition is introduced in order to solve an indeterminate lifting analysis problem with 4 cranes and a set of lifting forces along the 4 crane ropes is calculated. A 3-dimensional example of the G/T 1500 oil tanker is analyzed and the results show that the information obtained by the method could be useful to engineers to conduct salvage work.

  • 우리 나라는 3차년도에 걸쳐 전자해도 및 수치해도를 구축하였고, 1999년도까지 우리 나라 전역에 대하여 전자해도 및 수치해도의 구축이 완료될 예정이다. 따라서, 지금까지는 데이터를 구축하는 단계였다면 이제는 데이터를 어떻게 효율적으로 관리하고, 원활하게 공급할 것인가를 고민해야한다. 현재까지 사용되어 오던 기존의 종이해도와는 전혀 다른 형태의 새로운 생산품인 전자해도는 근본적으로는 선박의 안전항해와 해난사고 예방에 초점을 두어 개발되었으나 해양정보의 공간정보화라는 측면에서 해양환경 보호 그리고 효과적인 해양행정 관리 둥 해양관련 분야에서 다양한 활용이 예상된다. 따라서 기존의 종이해도와 전혀 다른 데이터베이스 형태의 전자해도 데이터를 공급하는데 있어 기술적으로나 경제적으로 거대한 시장에 적합하고 데이터를 공급하고 사용하는 동안 그리고 전자해도 데이터를 이용한 또 다른 상품을 제작할 때 상업적 측면에서나 안전성 측면에서 데이터의 정확성과 안전성을 확보할 수 있는 공급 체계를 채택하여 이 데이터의 수요자들이 보다 좋은 품질의 공간정보와 다양한 공간정보 상품을 서비스 받을 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 디지털화된 저작물인 전자해도의 유통체계를 확립하는데 있어 국내 저작권법과 컴퓨터프로그램보호법을 기준으로 데이터의 유통에 대한 국제 상거래 관념을 비교 분석하고 외국의 전자해도 유통 사례를 비교 분석함으로써 우리 나라에 적합한 전자해도 공급체계를 제안하고자 한다.

A Study on the Improvement of Physical Distribution System in Inchon Port (인천항 물류시스템의 실태분석 및 개선방안에 관한 연구 -입항지원시스템을 중심으로-)

  • The Inchon port has been heavily congested due to the tidal restriction in passing the lock and the shortage of berths or warehouses. The current congestion is predicted to become worse by the induced traffics near the lock entrance after completion of North harbour expansion and of Kyung-In canal construction. It is also expected that the newly developed configuration of the Inchon port will result in increasing the rate of marine accidents around the lock entrance because of the over-utilization of the limited capacity of the junction from the North harbour and the Kyung-In canal. This study adopts a systematic approach in analysing the physical distribution system of the inner-lock area in order to figure out alternative routes which are designed to improve the port efficiency. Ship maneuvering simulation is also attempted to propose a new approaching route to the canal as an alternative path in order to avoid the traffic accidents caused by the extreme congestion. The result of the ship maneuvering simulation demonstrates that the alternative routes by way of Buk-Sudo, Janbong-Sudo, north of Si-Do and Sin-Do is recommended routes which can satisfy the safety requirements of approaching to the canal entrance.

  • This research does by purpose that present safe navigation plan for ships during doing dredging construction with dredger crossing waterway of Gadeok. Dredging operations need to build sunken tunnel that cross the bottom of the sea under waterway of Gadeok for access road construction between Busan- Geoje. Accordingly, dredger must cross and dredge waterway of Gadeok fatally. There is possibility of marine accident of collision for latent danger situation of ships to navigate waterway of Gadeok relatively. Therefore, safe navigation plan of ship is groped in reply and its countermeasure is presented.
