Damage detection of a structure based on natural frequency ratio measurements (고유진동수비 측정에 기초한 구조물 손상탐지)

  • 구조물에 손상이 발생하면 구조물의 강성변화로 구조물의 고유진동수에 변화가 발생하게 된다. 실험을 통해 얻을 수 있는 손상 전 구조물의 고유진동수와 해석적 방법을 사용하여 구하는 고유진동수가 같다고 가정하고 해석적인 방법으로 손상전후 고유진동수비를 구하여 3차원 그래프로 표시하였다. 손상이 한 부위에 존재할 경우 진동실험으로 구한 고유진동수비를 고유진동수비 그래프와 비교하여 손상의 위치, 크기 및 방향을 알 수 있었으나 여러 지점에 손상이 발생할 경우에는 손상을 파악하기 위해 고유진동수비 그래프 외에 주파수 응답함수를 병행하여 사용하였다.

  • 그래프 착색 문제(Graph Coloring Problem)는 인접한 노드 (V$_{i}$, V$_{j}$ )가 같은 색을 갖지 않도록 그래프 G의 노드 V에 색을 배정하는 문제로, NP-hard 문제로 잘 알려져 있다. 또한 최근까지 그래프 착색 문제의 최적 해를 구하기 위하여 다양한 접근방식들과 해법들이 제안되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 그래프 착색 문제의 해법으로 잘 알려진 Greedy algorithms, Simulated Annealing. Tabu search 등이 아닌 실세계에서 개미들이 자신의 분비물을 이용하여 경로를 찾는 Ant System을 개선하여 새롭게 제안한 Ant Colony System(ACS) 알고리즘으로 해를 구하는 ANTCOL을 소개하고, ANTCOL에서 DSATUR, Recursive Largest First(RLF) 등의 방식을 사용한 기존 생성 함수들과 RLF를 개선하여 제안한 eXtend RLF방식을 사용한 생성 함수를 비교, 평가하고자 한다.

Pre-Service Teachers' Understanding of Contexts for Constructing Exponential Graph (지수함수 그래프의 구성 맥락에 대한 예비교사들의 이해)

  • This study examined the understanding of 24 pre-service teachers about the three contexts for constructing the exponential graphs. The three contexts consisted of the infinite points context (2009 revision curriculum textbook method), the infinite straight lines context (French textbook method), and the continuous compounding context (2015 revision curriculum textbook method). As the result of the examination, most of the pre-service teachers selected the infinite points context as easier context for introducing the exponential graph. They noted that it was the appropriate method because they thought their students would easily understand, but they showed the most errors in the graph presentation of this method. These errors are interpreted as a lack of content knowledge. In addition, a number of pre-service teachers noted that the infinite straight lines context and continuous compounding context were not appropriate because these contexts can aggravate students' difficulty in understanding. What they pointed out was interpreted in terms of knowledge of content and students, but at the same time those things revealed a lack of content knowledge for understanding the continuous compounding context. In fact, considering the curriculum they have experienced, they were not familiar with this context, continuous compounding. These results suggest that pre-service teacher education should be improved. Finally, some of the pre-service teachers mentioned that using technology can help the students' difficulties because they considered the design of visual model.

  • In this paper, the researchers investigated the influence of graphing calculator in learning the concept of linear function for the gifted students. Elementary students who were taking a course in enrichment mathematics at Science Education Institute for the Gifted in Mokpo National University were selected for this study. The researchers analyzed students' processes of mathematical inference and conjecture, and students' algebraic description. We found the facts that the visualization using a graphing calculator and CBL is helpful to the gifted students in understanding concepts of liner function, finding the relationship between variables, analyzing and presupposing of graph. But, using graphing calculator can be a factor that disturbs learning of students who have too much of curiosity on graphing calculator.

그래픽스를 이용한 판별분석법

  • 본 논문에서는 그래픽스에 의한 판별분석을 다루고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 새로운 그래프는 표본이차판별함수에 기초하고 있으며 기존의 MV 그래프와 실제자료에 대하여 비교하고 있다. 판별분석에서 공분한행렬이 같지 않은 경우의 3차원 그래프는 처음 시도된 것으로 이를 위하여 차원축소문제를 논의하고 있다.

그래프에 의한 stable law분포의 모수추정

  • 본고에서는 그래프를 이용하여 stable law분포의 index, skewness, scale, location 모수들에 대한 추정방법을 제시한다. 먼저, order statistics의 함수인 tail length statistic $K_{t}$ , skewness statistic $K_{s}$ 를 이용하여 index .alpha., scale .betha.를 추정한다. 다음에는, 추정된 .alpha., .betha.를 index로 하여 개발된 그래프들로 부터 scale .sigma., location .mu.추정에 필요한 order statistics의 함수를 결정한다. 몇가지 예를 마지막에 예시한다.

  • There are different perspectives on a function graph. For instance, a parabola is defined by movement of a ball in physics and by quadratic function in mathematics. This study deals with the turtle motion, which is local and intrinsic, and the construction of function graphs with mathematical experiments in a microworld. This paper concerns with a function graph which is in the curriculum or in the history of mathematics. In view of pre-calculus, we introduce activities of mathematization about formalizing of length and area of function graphs without knowledge of calculus.

Two Middle School Students' Proportional Reasoning Emerging through the Process of Expressing and Interpreting the Function Graphs (그래프 표현과 해석에서 드러나는 두 중학생의 비례 추론 능력에 대한 사례 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the proportional reasoning of middle school students during the process of expressing and interpreting the graphs. We collected data from a teaching experiment with four 7th grade students who participated in 23 teaching episodes. For this study, the differences between student A and student B-who joined theteaching experiment from the $1^{st}$ teaching episode through the $8^{th}$ -in understanding graphs are compared and the reason for their differences are discussed. The results showed different proportional solving strategies between the two students, which revealed in the course of adjusting values of two given variables to seek new values; student B, due to a limited ability for proportional reasoning, had difficulty in constructing graphs for given situations and interpreting given graphs.

  • 본 연구에서는 연속형 확률밀도함수의 그래프를 표현하기 위한 하나의 방법으로 보간점을 이용하는 문제에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 최적화 기법을 이용하여 보간점의 수와 위치를 선택하는 알고리즘을 제안하고, 제안한 방법을 이용하여 확률밀도함수의 그래프를 구현한다.

Conceptual Understanding of Functions through a Graphing Calculator (그래핑 계산기를 이용한 함수의 개념적 이해)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate students' understanding of functions based on concept image and concept definition suggested by Vinner, For the study a graphing calculator was provided as a tool for students to use for their exploration. Three students participated in the study using the qualitative research method to identify their processes of understanding functions. The student with previous experiences of the functions had various concept images about the functions and did not have many opportunities to modify their images because the student did not want to depend on the calculator. However, the student who did not have many chances to study about the functions before used the calculator effectively for developing the concept definition on the functions. The calculator played an important role in connecting different representations and finding relationships between these representations supported by dynamic exploration.
