  • 스마트 폰의 등장으로 인해 사용자들은 모바일 기기를 통해 언제 어디서나 인터넷 서비스를 이용할 수 있게 되었고 더불어 다양한 앱을 통해 기존에 PC에서 제공되던 서비스들이 모바일 기기로 이동하게 되었다. 이러한 변화는 TV시장에도 영향을 미치게 되었고 TV에서도 인터넷 서비스뿐만 아니라 다양한 앱 서비스를 이용할 수 있는 스마트TV 시대를 열게 되었다. 스마트 TV시스템은 방송망과 인터넷 망을 통해 사용자에게 보다 다양한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 되었으나 각 인터넷 콘텐츠 제공자가 앱 형태로 콘텐츠를 제공함으로써 다양한 콘텐츠 제공자로부터 사용자가 원하는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 검색하는 데에 한계가 있었다. 본 논문은 사용자 키워드 검색문 의미해석을 통해 서로 상이한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 메타데이터 정보 구조를 가지고 있는 콘텐츠 제공자들이 효과적으로 검색결과를 제공할 수 있는 스마트TV통합검색시스템에 대하여 기술한다.

  • Revolution of software and hardware technology changed TV from cathode-ray tube to a LCD or PDP. And this change calls for change of TV decoration cabinet. The flat panel TV stands market is very a world-wide enormous size with the function which is various and breed and design is forming. Nonetheless, Our flat panel TV stands production method and technique is to a phase which imitates the product of the foreign nation which precedes. Currently our country TV / AV decoration cabinet is staying to only the acceptance function which is simple. Consequently, the development of the new flat panel TV stands that matches in the house culture which is modernized with applies the visual effect which is various, effective design and function is necessary. The fact that it develops the product which equips the function characteristic which is new and convenient is objective of sample planning.

  • Recently, digital broadcasting service is growing as a TV-based commerce market spread. However, in previous studies, many researchers studied TV home shopping and T-Commerce separately each other, and there is little research on the attribute to increase the satisfaction of consumers. In this study, we analyzed the attribute to increase satisfaction of consumer using TV-based commerce, and we propose to the direction to move forward. We selected characteristics of TV home shopping and T-Commerce through previous studies, and analyzed satisfaction of customers with quality attributes of TV-based commerce using KANO model and ASC(Average Satisfaction Coefficient).

  • Newsweek 가 2007 년을 '위젯의 해'라고 선언할 정도로 IT산업에서 위젯에 대한 관심이 커져가고 있다. 위젯은 인터넷으로부터 정보를 전달 받아 화면에 표시하는 작은 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스 도구의 일종을 뜻한다. 위젯은 웹 사이트와 연동하여 제 기능을 다할 뿐 아니라 데스크톱, 모바일, 심지어 TV로까지 연동될 채비까지 갖추어 가고 있다. 그러나 현재 TV 환경에서는 TV용 위젯 그래픽 가이드라인이 없는 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 TV 시청 환경에 적합한 위젯 가이드라인을 제안함에 있다. TV와 PC의 사용 환경은 서로 다르며 크게 세 가지 측면으로 볼 수 있다. 첫째는 목적적 측면이다. PC는 주로 작업, 검색의 목적을 가지고 있는 반면, TV는 즐기고, 쉬기 위한 목적을 가지고 있다. 둘째는 조작적 측면이다. PC는 키보드, 마우스와 같은 다양한 입력 도구를 사용하여 문자와 위치 등을 쉽게 입력하고 다양한 조작을 할 수 있는 반면, TV는 리모컨으로 제한적인 조작을 한다. 셋째는 시청 환경적 측면이다. TV의 시청거리는 PC나 모바일 보다 멀다. 그리고 보편적으로 가족이 공유하는 미디어라는 점을 알 수 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 세 가지 선행연구를 종합하였다. 첫째, 위젯의 정의와 유형에 대해서 연구하였다. 둘째, TV와 PC환경의 차이를 연구하였다. 셋째, 위젯과 TV의 가이드라인을 분석하였다. 이와 같은 선행연구를 종합하여 TV 환경에 적합한 위젯 디자인 가이드라인을 도출하였다. 연구자는 가이드라인을 콘텐츠, 그래픽, 인터랙션 세 부분으로 나누어 각각에 대한 가이드라인을 제안한다. 또한 연구자가 제안하는 가이드라인의 적합성을 검증하기 위하여 이 가이드라인에 토대로 한 TV 용 위젯을 제안한다. 연구의 범위는 국내의 40 인치 HDTV를 중심으로 제한한다. PC 에서처럼 TV 에서 위젯이 정착하기 까지 많은 시행착오가 있을 것이라 예상된다. 본 연구가 TV 환경에 적합한 위젯에 관한 연구의 시작이 되기를 기대한다.

Semiotics Approach to TV Advertisement of Disabled Model (장애인모델 TV광고에 대한 기호학적 분석)

  • This study analyzed symbolically the TV advertisement of disabled model from the point of view of the advertising communication of the consumers. Depending on the characteristics of the semiotics square of Greimas, the flow of the value of consumption of people with TV advertisement of disabled model, protective value, non-protective value, existence value, non-existence value such as ${\infty}$ re-protective value in the presence value it will move the form. The results from this study showed that SK Telecom TV ad (wheelchair basketball) is existence value, the iPhone 4 (lovers) is non-protective value, Samsung Securities (campaign) is protective value and Sonata automotive TV ad (Sonata Touchable Music Sheet) shows the non-existence value.

  • TV is Device best known to everyone. Showing off a smart TV in the TV industry has recently become a new blue ocean in the TV market. As with other smart devices, smart TV is also an important factor is a very important application. In this paper, by using the Samsung SDK to application of Web-based that can be used in smart TV environment of Samsung, we have developed a board game that has been created based on JAVA SCRIPT, CSS, and HTML. Rules of the game of the board game format using the dice is easy, this application is a four-person game that also men and women of all ages who enjoy.

  • In this paper, we present the results of two studies on Social TV. In one study, meaning and possibility of TV as social media was theoretically studied and based on this meaning, we reviewed existing social TV systems and literatures. By doing this, we could extract the conditions and issues raised by designing Social TV's user experience. Based on our analysis, we could conclude with elements which are (1) channel communication, (2) Co-viewing experience, (3) Interaction Devices and elements, (4) Personalized contents browsing and selecting, (5) Accessibility and usability (6) User interface design.

  • Early Smart TV market had their interest in the ability of HW, but these days Smart TV market begin to concentrate on it's services, contents and applications of SW. However, because in Smart TV application, there is no major difference with the application in smart phones and tablets. So the utilization rate in Smart TV application is evidently low. That's the reason why many people did not feel the need to use smart TV applications. In order to solve this problem, this paper propose to develope an application with the cloud computing technique [clould computing] that is intended to provide an usability through the interlocking of the individual PC and smart phone. After uploading user's photos from smart phone or PC to smart TV, this application will help not only to create user's own video but also to add various kind of video effects that user want. Therefore, in this paper, I expect the activation of smart TV applications.

  • This paper deals with how Korean television musical variety show rose and declined focusing the 'Show Show Show'. 'Show Show Show' was a Korean television musical variety show that ran on TBC-TV every Saturday night at 8pm. until TBC-TV was absorbed into KBS-TV in 1980. Its musical acts, of various kinds, were interspersed with comic turns and special items including dancing, mime, magic, and acrobat. Korean television musical variety show worked on what audiences had in common across generational divides till the late 1970s. 'Show Show Show's catchall format didn't cross the demographic lines like it used to. But the young generation demanded music program that spoke to their own condition in the early 1980s. 'Show Show Show' ended on KBS-TV in July 1983 through the influence of the absorption of TBC-TV into KBS-TV and the changes of cultural circumstances. The decline of the television musical variety show was attributable to the fragmentation of musical taste and the change of viewing behaviors.

  • Smart TV manufacturers have constructed automatic Smart TV execution environment for reducing cost of Smart TV testing. However, the conventional test methods still require high cost because of manual test script written by testers. Test scripts manully written have less reusability, and then less reusable scripts cannot be used for new TV models. In this paper, we propose constructing reusable test models for Smart TV and present a model-based Smart TV test script generation method using the modes. And we apply the method to NetCast Smart TV to confirm the effectiveness of enhancing reusability.
