Digital Music Industry of Korea has had its dominance over existing Record-based Music Industry since the year 2000 influencing the entire music industry. This implies the perspective for this emerging field by defining various factors based on environmental analysis. SWOT analysis, mostly used for setting up the marketing strategy is very useful analytic tool for this manner. The potentials and possibilities were saught for this emerging Digital Music Industry to have connectivity with other Media and Entertainment Industry, focusing on its strength, weakness, opportunities and threats, four variables of SWOT analysis.

Mathematics(group theory, in particular) makes it partially possible to present and create music and patterns. This means that patterns can be presented by music through mathematics. In this work, we first produce musical piece for each type of frieze patterns. Based on the musical pieces, we compose a music presenting the combined pattern of all frieze types. We finally produce a video for hearing design through music. Through a QR-code, anyone can access the product of this work. The results of this research might be examples for integration of mathematics and arts and for utilizing smart circumstances.

Although there are highly artistic music pieces which have composed and presented every years at concerts in Korea nowadays the their copyrights are not claimed. In general, The reason for this is that the classical music are employed as educational and nonprofit purpose. Recently, the copyright claim is the trend for all kinds creations therefore one who produce creative works desire more the hearty and creative. However, in the field of classical music in Korea, the rate of copyright registration are low compared to popular music when this paper research the presents state of copyright registration through the Korea music copyrights association and Korea copyright commission. Therefore, people who in the field of classic music should be encouraged to manage their copyrights such the registration of copyrights actively.

In 21C, computer is having a powerful influence on every fields. As music field is no exception, the computer music is regarded as a next generation music. Especially the focus of 21st century's music is now moving from MIDI of 20th century to the Realtime interactive music in which computer is used as a practical instrument. Most european countries and America are doing a lot of research and performing these music. But in Korea, known as a fairly strong IT country, there is no enough perception of the importance of this new outcome of the new media era, and introduction of this music is slow as well. In this paper, we suggest the possibility of using the new way of composition by realtime interactive music in Korea. This can be a strong merit for Korean composers who want to use Korean instruments which were limited to be used as international instruments because of their restricted registers, techniques and so on.

This study is to suggest the considerations in the rules for authorized access points for collocation of music work by figuring out the directions of authorized access points in FRBR, LRM, ICP 2016, RDA, and BIBFRAME, and by analyzing RDA rules for attributes and authorized access points of music works and expression and VIAF examples. First, an aggregated authorized access points were suggested as the direction of authorized access points, and original title may be selected as preferred title and the authorized access point may be based on forms in one of the languages suited to the users, if the original title is not normally suited. Second, music works's authorized access points is consisted of composer authorized access point and preferred title, and of adapter's authorized access point and preferred title in case of lacks of responsibility in composer. Also, the authorized access point of Korean traditional music work must be reviewed according to work types considering the responsibility of composer. Third, the controlled vocabularies for name of music type, medium of performance, and key could be considered for describing the attributes of work and expression. This study would be the foundation study for the authorized access point of music work, and additional research should be completed through surveying music user's need.

본 논문에서는 드럼연주에 있어서 라이드 심벌 비트(ride cymbal beat)를 중심으로 현대 재즈리듬과 폴리리듬과의 연관성에 관하여 생각해 보고자 한다. 현대는 아주 다양한 장르의 음악들이 서로서로 영향을 주고받고 있기 때문에 다양한 음악을 수용하는 특징을 가지고 있는 재즈에서의 리듬은 어느 한 가지로 단순히 정의할 수 없다. 그러나 재즈의 전통적인 측면에서 볼 때 그 변화를 이야기 할 수 있는 리듬은 보편적인 재즈리듬이라 일컬어지는 스윙리듬(swing rhythm)이다. 이러한 스윙리듬은 현대의 폴리리듬을 이전보다 더 정교하게 연주하는 연주인들의 영향으로 말미암아 재즈의 역사 속에서 변화해 온 것과 다르게 좀 더 음표의 정의에 맞게 연주되는 경향이 생겼다. 이것은 어떤 면에서 전통적인 재즈리듬의 느낌, 혹은 개개인의 개성이 다소 사라지고 좀 더 기계화, 정형화되었다는 것을 의미한다.

본 연구는 초등 음악과 창작 학습을 위한 멀티미디어 활용과 그 효과를 알아보기 위하여 멀티미디어 활용 집단과 전통적인 수업 집단으로 구분하여 극용하고 학업성취도를 비교 분석해 보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 멀티미디어 활용은 Noteworthy 1.70b를 이용하였다. 연구 대상은 부산광역시 장전초등학교 6학년 학생이며, 두 집단으로 구분하여 실시하였다. 연구의 가설로는 멀티미디어 활용 집단의 학업 성취도가 전통 수업 집단의 성취도보다 높을 것이라고 설정하였고, 결과 분석은 SAS(통계분석프로그램)를 사용하였다. 연구 결과 멀티미디어 활용 학습은 학습 집단 전체에 대한 학업 성취도를 균등하게 향상시킬 수 있다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다.

노래(Song)와 같이 가사를 포함한 음악은 같은 스타일의 멜로디라도 청자에 따라 느끼는 감정이 다르다. 따라서 전통적인 음악 분류에서 사용하는 템포, 박자, 음정, 음표, 리듬과 같은 자질을 이용하여 감정을 분류할 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 가사로부터 감정 자질을 추출하고, 이를 학습 자질로 이용하여 노래 가사의 감정을 분류한다. 감정 자질의 추출 정확도를 높이고자, 한국어의 언어적 특징을 반영한 규칙을 구축한다. 추출된 감정 자질과 structured SVM을 이용하여 노래 가사의 감정을 분류한 결과, Naive Bayes나 SVM과 같은 전통적인 학습 기법보다 높은 성능(accuracy = 68.9%)을 보였다.

The objective of this paper is to verify the usefulness and validity of ICT-based elementary education for musical composition using multimedia technology. Cearing with the characteristic of musical education, multimedia technology, which has made dazzling progress thanks to the rapid development of computer for the last several year, is expected to be a new alternative to overcome various problems of musical education and enhance students` musical function and knowledge. In particular, if ICT-based musical education is introduced in teaching musical composition, in which many elementary school techers feel difficulties, significant education effects will be produced. ICT-based musical education method in the paper identified imitation and problems in traditional theory-based learning and musical composition class using musical instruments and, as a part of resolving the limitations and problems, instructed elementary students in how to use a computer program and applied the program to musical composition class. As a result, the method maximized learning effect and improved stusents` ability to create melodies in a short term compared to traditional teaching methods.

This study verifies the diversification effect when non-financial asset such as fractional music royalties investment which is recently get interest from masses, is included in traditional global asset allocation portfolio. From Jan 2019 when Music Royalties index is announced to Jun 2022, compared traditional global asset allocation portfolio and the portfolio included with music royalties. To eliminate the enhancement effect from portfolio strategy itself rather than including non-financial asset, used the four basic portfolio strategy such as buy & hold, constant rebalanced, mean variance, risk parity. As a result, all the portfolios included with music royalties shows less risk with higher returns. This means the sharpe ratio has enhanced and that results the portfolio diversification effect is placed. The empirical analysis of the study found academic significance in that the portfolio included with music royalties investment has diversification effect, and show the possibilities the not only on the music royalties, other non-financial asset can be shown the portfolio diversification effect.
