  • 니트웨어가 가지고 있는 신축성은 우븐 페브릭으로 제작한 옷과 비교했을 때, 옷을 입었을 때의 편안함과 관리의 수월함을 제공하며, 이러한 니트웨어의 특성은 현대의 라이프 스타일에 맞는 경쟁력을 가지고 있다. 현대인의 생활은 단지 일에만 치중하며 사는 것이 아니라 여행, 사회적 참여 그리고 운동 등을 하며 개개인의 삶을 더욱 중요시 여기는 형태로 변해가고 있다. 따라서 손이 많이 가고 관리하기 힘든 옷을 위해 쓰는 시간은 점점 줄어들고, 캐주얼이나 정장에 관계없이 편안하고 관리하기 쉬운 옷을 선호하며 살아가고 있다. 이러한 경향은 패션산업시장에 직접 반영되어 관리하기 쉽고 입기에 편안한 니트웨어는 패션 시장 안에서 점점 더 많은 부분을 차지하고 개발되어지고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 현재 니트웨어 시장은 니트조직을 개발하고 표현하는 데에 있어 공장의 기술자 중심으로 이루어지고 있어 제한된 스타일의 니트조직이 대부분의 시장을 차지하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 창의력을 가진 니트 디자이너와 현대인의 감수성을 만족시킬 수 있는 니트 조직의 개발은 현대 패션시장에서 매우 중요한 과제로 남아있다고 할 수 있다. 또한 CAD를 사용하는 산업용 니팅머신은 독특한 텍스추어를 가진 니트웨어의 대량 생산을 위해 꼭 필요한 아이템이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 시대의 요구에 맞추어 연구자는 이번 연구를 통해 현재 니트웨어 시장에 나와 있는 조직과는 차별화 된 4가지 니트조직을 CAD로 디자인하고 산업용 니팅머신을 사용해 현실화하였으며, 니트웨어 디자인에 적용하여 실제의상으로 제작해 보았다. 이 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과물이 현대인의 감수성을 만족시킬 수 있는 새로운 제안으로 현재 패션시장에 받아들여졌으면 하는 바람이다.

  • In the rapidly advancing modern world, Fashion Illustrations are being utilized in various aspects of art and industrial works. Fashion illustrations are especially useful in fields like trend books thats show advanced trends where photographs are difficult to be utilized due to the fact the real object does not exist. Both the academic and industrial worlds have realized the importance of Fashion illustration and have started to study the field as a way of expressing the general image of a costume rather than a diagram for making clothes. The focus of this study is on Fashion illustrations using Photo Montages that express modern fashion using various and unique textures. The study is composed of a literature review on Fashion illustration and Photo Montages. and five work pieces are made focusing on expressing compounded images.

Analysis of the Fashion Customization Platform Design Cases (패션 커스터마이징 플랫폼 디자인 사례분석 연구)

  • Various customizing services are also being introduced in the fashion industry in line with the diversification of consumer tastes and the demand for small production of multiple varieties. However, barriers to entry are high for consumers who are not customized, and various functions are rather complicated. This study selected the three platforms that provide the most similar services to Marple, the No. 1 fashion platform sales, as comparative models and used them as a basic study for web-based fashion customization platform design through case analysis. As a research method, theoretical examinations were conducted through literature surveys, followed by web analysis based on layout, menu, color, icon, and interaction. The study found that the placement of options, the composition of menu windows, the number of point colors, and the use of icons without functions of metaphores hindered the use of customizing platforms. This work proposes a solution, and aims to contribute to increasing the usability of future customizing web by comprehensively analyzing the visual shaping elements of web platform design.

  • 본 연구는 18개의 감정어휘와 25쌍의 감성어휘를 사용하여 부산71역 거주 남녀 970명을 대상으로 현대패션에 대한 감정과 감성을 평가하여 구성요인과 의미의 차원을 밝히고, 감정경험과 감성과의 관계를 의복디자인의 조형적 특성으로 분석한 것이다. 본 연구 결과는 구매행동과 구매욕구에 실질적으로 영향을 미치는 감정경험에 대한 실증적 자료로서 의의가 있으며 디자인 기획시 그 활용도를 기대해 볼 수 있을 것이다.

  • It is important for the strategy of product sales to investigate the consumer's sensitivity and preference degree in the environment that the process of material development has been changed focusing on the consumer renter. In the present study, we propose the Fashion Design Recommender System (FDRS) of textile design applying collaborative filtering personalization technique as one of methods in the material development centered on consumer's sensibility and preferences. In collaborative filtering personalization technique based on textile, Pearson Correlation Coefficient is used to calculate similarity weights between users. We build the database founded on the sensibility adjective to develop textile designs by extracting the representative sensibility adjective from users' sensibility and preferences about textile designs. FDRS recommends textile designs to a consumer who has a similar propensity about textile. Ultimately, this paper sugeests empirical applications to verify the adequacy and the validity on this system with the development of Fashion Design Recommender System (FDRS)

A Study on the African Image Expressed in 2005 S/S Collections (2005 S/S 컬렉션에 나타난 아프리카 이미지 연구)

  • In this study, for the purpose of correct viewing on the image of Africa and understanding of modem fashion, African image and art, the general characteristics of African costume, the background of fashion subjecting African image, and the trend according to ages were examined based on theoretical background. Then the researcher drew African image by analyzing the works in four 2005 S/S major fashion collections to designers and design factors. The ten voted designers' and brands' works in 2005 S/S collections had four concepts of African image; 'Wild Erotic', 'Abstract Primitive', 'Natural Elegant' and 'Sporty Romantic'. The viewpoint of modem fashion on African image from the aspect of design, designer and fashion trend can be examined as below. First, African costume, which was religious and ceremonial, appeared to emphasize its esthetic side with decorative details in modem fashion design and designers competed to choose a method to harmonize tradition and modem style and by adopting these from occult to decorative meaning, Second, fashion designers presented city unpolished beauty of modem women to a special style and made african image to be recognized as a code of fashion culture by integrating it with modem people's mind to go back to the past and admiration for the purity of nature. Third, thanks to the instinctive vitality hidden in the primitive life, inspiration for creative design that is found in the esthetic mind of the Indians, foreign taste emphasizing ethnic trend, and admiration to naturalism due to the increase of concern over ecology, 'African image' led the beginning of 21C trend by being settled as a in fashion trend.

  • Based on Deleuze's body aesthetics and from the perspective of 'deterritoraliazation', this study makes an in-depth discussion on the modern fashion design modeling by four visual characteristics: hysteria, visualization, body segmentation and becoming animals. First, hysteria embodies the strong visual effect brought by the deformation and exaggeration of clothing. Second, visualization in fashion shows the elimination or ambiguity of faces, representing the weakening of identity and the prominence of clothing and body. Third, body segmentation represents the deconstruction and reorganization of clothing, and a new way of thinking, as well. Fourth, becoming-animals are manifested in the physical mutation caused by the heterogeneous connection between humans and animals, which brings about the possibility of rethinking the body.

Recycled Clothes and Its Characters Impact on Consumers' Consumption (재활용 의류와 그 특성이 소비자의 소비에 미치는 영향)

  • The increasingly severe environmental problems such as resource depletion and ecological damage, and consumers' concern for sustainable fashion, make the fashion industry chain develop towards green energy saving. The purpose of this study is to explore the attitude and consumption psychology of specific groups towards sustainable fashion consumption, as well as their specific views and attitudes towards recycled textiles or fabrics for re-manufacturing clothing. This paper attempts to understand how the characteristics of recycled clothing affect consumer. Based on the review of relevant literature, a series of determinants affecting consumer behavior is determined, and the characteristics of recycled products, such as expression value and social value, are determined. An online questionnaire was designed based on this conceptual framework, and 226 valid, complete answers were received. The results show that the emphasis on social value and environmental protection consciousness can effectively affect consumers' decision-making. These findings were helpful to the research of whole green environmental protection and ecological clothing recycling industry system, promote the sustainable development of the clothing industry.

  • 본 고는 패션디자이너들이 함양해야 할 핵심 지적자질로서, 예술적, 사회적, 기술적 자질을 제시하고 있다. 이러한 핵심 지적자질은 "옷"이라는 디자인 오브제의 구상 및 추상적 본질을 둥의 조형적, 표현적, 그리고 상징적 특성을 문헌을 중심으로 이해하고 검토함으로써 제시되었다. 디자인 오브제로서 옷에 대한 본질에 관한 고찰은 패션디자이너의 역할을 정의하는 개념적 틀로서 사용되었으며, 디자이너의 핵심 지적자질을 함양하기 위한 구체적인 실천방안으로서, 문화를 분석, 체험하고 사회에서 파생되는 제반 인문, 사회, 과학, 기술관련 이슈들을 이해하고 습득하려는 능동적 실천을 권장하고 있다.

  • In a rapidly changing fashion design world, creative ideas are always required. Knowledge has been created as an art, exhibiting a new imagination that surpasses reality, while being visualized from the past. The purpose of this study is to derive types of visualization of knowledge for continuous creation of fashion design. The study consists of literature and empirical studies. ATTA, a creativity evaluation method made by Torrance applied for analyzing of Gucci fashion design collections from 2016-2017. Creativity of the Gucci collection by ATTA evaluation items are that first, a vivid idea was revealed through collection history, myths and animal and plants, second, conceptual incongruity is in the composition of the garment, third, provocative questions are the symbolism of the meaning of the text, fourth, different perspectives derive a new formative beauty through the synthesis of twisted elements, fifth, abstraction is a symbolic expression of animals and plants, sixth, synthesis is a mixture of various materials and techniques by plural inspiration, seventh, context, it is developed as a design accompanied by stories of history and myth and eighth, fantasy is fictitious animals and animals and detail. In addition, formativeness of fashion design by visualization of this knowledge was extracted with contamination, symbolism, enjoyment and fabrication. Visualization of the knowledge is expected to be used as a strategy to attract ongoing ideas for creative fashion designs.
