The purpose of this study was to identify research trends on librarians' behaviors(LB) in Korea. 163 papers were selected in four representative journals published in Korean LIS, 1970-2015. The papers were analyzed in terms of period, journal, theme, purpose of research, research method, areas, type of author. The findings are as follows. 1) LB of University library were 28.8% and then that of public library were 26.9%. 2) Organizational behaviors of librarians were 52.7%, and then work behaviors were 31.9%. 3) Purposes of research were to examine librarians' perception (52.7%) and then to improve of current state of libraries(41.1%). 4) Quantitative research method was heavily found(82.2%). 5) Research purpose on LB of University library was related to identify perception of librarians, and that of Public library was related to improve current state of libraries. It discussed four strategies for sustaining growth of LB study aspect of research subject, research purpose, research method, and editorial strategies of four journals.

The purpose of the study was to analyze research trends of Korean articles on early childhood teachers' empowerment published in 2005 through 2022. For this purpose, 87 articles were selected and analyzed by years, research methods, and research themes. As results, Korean article on early childhood teachers' empowerment was first published in 2005 and then continuously conducted every year until 2022. In terms of research methods, 'quantitative research', 'survey questionnaire', and 'analysis of effects' were shown the most. In addition, 'early childhood teacher' and 'daycare center' showed more distribution and 'the scale developed by Short and Rinehart' was most used. As research themes, the most studies have investigated 'influence of empowerment'. Based on the results, we discuss and suggest on future research.

This study presents the research trends of Records and Archives Management in Korea by analyzing the articles of the Records and Archives Management in Korea. For the study, 479 articles from 5 academic journals published between 2004 and 2013 were analyzed. The study employed content analysis and network analysis. As a result, summary of the study is as follows: First, the most frequently used keywords in the area of Korean Archival Studies were 'Record and Archive Management' and 'Archivist'. However 'Electronic Records'. 'Archival Reference Service' and 'Appraisal' have been used the most frequently when these general words have been excluded. Second, most participating institutions in journals, during the given period of the study, were Myongji University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Chung-Ang University, and Pusan National University. Especially, MyongJi University and Chung-Ang University are core institutions in the Korean Archival Studies community.

Understanding research trends is necessary to select research topics and explore related works. Most researchers search representative keywords of interesting domains or technologies to understand research trends. However some conferences in artificial intelligence or data mining fields recently publish hundreds to thousands of papers for each year. It makes difficult for researchers to understand research trend of interesting domains. In our paper, we propose an automatic technology keyphrase extraction method to support researcher to understand research trend for each conference or journal. Keyphrase extraction that extracts important terms or phrases from a text, is a fundamental technology for a natural language processing such as summarization or searching, etc. Previous keyphrase extraction technologies based on pretrained language model extract keyphrases from long texts so performances are degraded in short texts like titles of papers. In this paper, we propose a techonolgy keyphrase extraction model that is robust in short text and considers the importance of the word.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trends of Korean articles on early childhood software education. For this purpose, 55 articles published in domestic KCI journals on the topic of early childhood software education from 2017 to 2022 were selected for analysis and analyzed according to the year of publication, research method, and research topic. The results showed that, first, research on early childhood software education in Korean journals was first published in 2017 and continued to be conducted every year until 2022. Second, in terms of research methods, the research type was 'quantitative research,' the data collection method was 'literature survey,' and the data analysis methods were 'descriptive statistical analysis' and 'literature analysis.' In addition, 'infants' and 'kindergarten teachers' were the most common research subjects. Third, the analysis of research topics showed that 'analyzing the relationship between variables in early childhood software education' was the most common. Based on these results, we recommended research topics on early childhood software education for the future.

Despite many changes occurring in the objects and methods of reading, the importance of reading as the most effective means of developing human intellectual ability is consistently emphasized. However, in Korea, reading tends to be perceived as a part of tedious and rigid education or learning activities rather than an act of giving pleasure and joy while accompanied by fun and interest. In addition, compared to the high interest and emphasis on reading, discussions on reading programs to systematically implement them are relatively insufficient, and it is difficult to find a study in Korea that grasp the overall research trend in the field of reading programs. Accordingly, in order to generally examine research trends in the field of domestic reading programs, an intellectual structure analysis method based on keyword profiling was applied. In particular, basic analysis, keyword analysis, research area analysis, and analysis by period and year were performed in stages based on the keywords of theses and academic journal articles in the domestic reading program field retrieved from the RISS database. In addition, future research tasks were presented by comprehensively reviewing the research trends of domestic reading programs identified as a result of this intellectual structure analysis.

본 연구의 목적은 바이오인포매틱스 분야의 회색문헌과 백색문헌의 초록을 대상으로 단어 동시출현(word co-occurrence)네트워크 분석을 통해 해당 분야의 연구 동향을 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2010년부터 2012년까지 발표된 회색문헌인 회의자료(proceeding)와 백색문헌인 학술논문(journal article)의 초록을 SCOPUS, IEEEXplore, Microsoft academic search에서 수집하였다. 단어 동시출현 네트워크를 분석한 결과 회색문헌의 주요 연구는 분석도구 및 방법으로, 백색문헌의 주요 연구는 바이오인포매틱스의 주요 연구대상인 유전자 발현, 단백질 서열 및 구조 등으로 나타났다.

This study aimed to analyze the research trends of research data academic papers from 2010 to 2024 to understand the research status of research data over the past 15 years. To achieve this goal, keyword frequency analysis and network centrality analysis were conducted on 14,921 academic articles published in Scopus DB. The keyword network analysis using UCINET, which was divided into the first period (2010-2014), second period (2015-2019), and third period (2020-2024) according to the period of publication of academic journals, revealed the main keywords studied regardless of the period, the keywords that attracted attention by period, and the keywords that decreased in attention over time. It was found that the most active topic of research data-related research in the last 15 years is data sharing, and most of the keywords with high Degree Centrality also have high Betweenness Centrality. The results of this study can be utilized as a basis for suggesting future research directions in the field of research data in Korea.

The study analyzed the research trends of domestic and international record information services from 2003 to 2022. A total of 136 academic papers registered in the Korea Citation Index (KCI) and 74 from the Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) were examined by quantitative and qualitative content analysis to understand the research status of 20 years from various angles, such as publication year, research type, researcher type, subject, and purpose. Frequency analysis, co-occurrence frequency analysis, centrality analysis, and topic modeling were performed by applying text mining techniques. Results showed that domestic papers demonstrated a research flow focused on specific institutions or records, and user-centered satisfaction surveys and content-centered studies were conducted. Moreover, foreign papers confirmed various evaluation-oriented and information provision studies, such as data, resources, and collections, along with the research trend focusing on the relationship between archivists and users. The management of information resources was identified as a common topic in both domestic and foreign papers, but it is possible to identify that domestic research focuses on maintaining the quality of domestic information resources, while foreign research focuses on the storage and retrieval of information.

Recent research trend of North Korean mining and rock engineering in the past 10 years was analyzed by a literature review of mining and rock engineering papers published in North Korean major mining journals, 'mining engineering', 'geological and geographical science' and 'technology innovation' published in 2008-2017. Basic database was established by organizing bibliographic information and abstract data of research papers in each journal. For each journal, paper submission trend classified by research field was analyzed using the basic database. And further study was conducted to the papers which showed distinguishing methodology and result, to analyze the trend of North Korean mining and rock engineering. The literature study showed a recent trend of quantification and automation in mining and rock engineering researches in North Korea, which seems due to recent changes in North Korea's science and technology policy and deterioration of the mining conditions. The results of this study can be applied in the feasibility studies of North Korea's mineral resource development projects. Future inter-Korean technical cooperation and site survey on North Korean field can secure complement the reliability of this study.
