An Analysis on the Relationship of Architectural Features and Composition Elements for Structure Planning in School Gymnasium (학교체육관의 구조계획을 위한 구조시스템 구성요소의 변화와 건축특성의 영향분석)

  • School gymnasium is a multi-purpose large space building for various events and physical education activities, and is a facility that requires an approach to the desirable structural design, besides mechanical problems of structure against loads. For the integrated structure design concerning the architectural features, the major considerations of gymnasium planning that are the internal and external shape of the gymnasium, the space scale with structure members, the structural efficiency by members weight reduction and openness of the gymnasium space will have to take into account in the structural planning. From this point of view, the several cases of the school gymnasium were investigated and the parametric analyses were performed to the models using the various structural system. The parameters were the composition elements of structure system that are profile of structure, rigidity of member, connection and anchorage and stability. At the result, It was presented that the profile of structure member was the most influential factor to structural efficiency and the effect of the form and space of gymnasium. Also the design informations of structure design having the various feature of form and space were presented for the initial gymnasium planning.

  • 지난 20여년간의 비약적 경제 성장을 통하여 우리 사회는 모든 물리적 측면에서 양적인 성장과 질적인 발전을 거듭하여 왔다. 이러한 경제 성장기를 거치면서 우리의 삶은 다각도에서 변화를 겪었으며 건축환경에도 많은 변화가 있었다. 정보화, 세계화라는 시대적 흐름은 우리의 생활자체를 급속도로 변화시키고 있으며 업무용 시설을 포함한 모든 건축물이 대형화, 고층화 뿐 아니라 정보화, 현대화되고 있다. 그러나, 교육의 중요성과 이를 뒷받침해 줄 학교 시설의 중요성에도 불구하고 교육환경의 질적 개선은 상대적으로 낙후되어 있는 상황이라고 할 수 있다. 교육개혁위원회의 교육개혁방안이 계속적으로 나오고 있고 서울의 불암초등학교를 필두로 한 시설 현대화 시범학교가 시도별로 마련되고는 있지만 전반적인 교육 환경은 아직 열악한 상태이다. 특히 구도심부에 위치한 초등학교의 경우, 준공된 후 30년 이상 경과된 학교 건물을 사용하고 있는 경우가 적지 않아 안전상의 문제마저 안고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 건물의 내구 연한이 그 한계에 달해 가고 유지보수비용이 계속적으로 늘어 경제성을 잃어 가고 있는 학교들을 대상으로 한 재건축과제가 신설 학교의 신축 또는 기존학교의 이전 못지 않은 주요 과제로 대두되고 있다. 더욱이 기존 학교의 재건축사업은 수업을 진행시켜가며 철거 및 신축공사가 단계적으로 수행돼야 한다는 어려움을 갖고 있다. 본 연구는 초등학교의 재건축을 위한 기본적인 자료를 정리하고 배치 및 평면 계획을 중심으로 한 계획 대안을 작성, 검토하여 대안별 장단점을 분석한 후 가장 바람직하다고 평가되는 안을 제시하는 것을 연구의 범위로 하였다. 계획안의 작성에 앞서 실시된 문헌조사 및 실측조사를 통하여, 신축되는 홍파초등학교에 필요한 시설의 내용 및 규모가 산정되었는데 특기할 사항은 좁은 대지임에도 불구하고 가능한 체육관 시설을 포함시키고자 하였다는 것이다. 홍파초등학교 부지는 $8,960m^2$ 정도밖에 안되는 좁은 부지로서 운동장도 제대로 확보할 수 없는 상황이었으나 체육관의 높은 활용도 및 장래의 필요성을 고려하여 소규모라도 계획되는 것이 바람직하다고 판단하였다. 열린교육에의 대응, 제반 특별교실의 확충, 식당 및 지하주차장의 확보 등 모든 시설이 현재 및 장차의 사용에 적합하도록 계획하여 현 시설의 1.5배 정도의 연면적을 갖는 신축 계획안을 작성하였다. 서울대학교와 광운대학교에서 분담하여 실시된 계획안의 작성을 통하여 총 4개의 계획안이 도출되었으며 이 대안들을 채광 및 환기, 학년별 zoning, 기능별 zoning, 열린교실의 정도, 지역사회에의 개방성, 재건축 공사의 용이성, 규모, 옥외공간의 활용성, 동선 계획, 조형성 등 10개 항목을 기준으로 평가하였다. 이러한 비교분석을 통하여 결론적으로 제1안을 최적안으로 제시하게 되었으며, 이를 바탕으로 구체적인 최종 설계안이 도출되기를 기대하는 바이다.

  • This study is the result of determination and analysis to draw out six schools in order to research into the lighting properties of the school Almost schools are supported and used large area by a high brightness lamp, for example high pressure mercury discharge lamp etc. The gymnasium of A, B, E schools have a good capacity of the illuminance.

  • 건축구조물의 이차원 해석을 위한 SWAN88은 한국과학기술원의 이동근 교수에 의하여 개발되었으며 소프트웨어센터를 통해서 보급되고 있다. SWAN88은 보와 기둥으로 구성된 프레임이나 여기에 전단벽이 추가적으로 사용된 구조물의 해석이 사용될 수 있으며 개인용 컴퓨터를 사용하여 짧은 시간내에 상당히 큰 구조물의 해석이 가능하도록 개발되었다. 사무소건물, 아파트, 호텔, 병원 및 학교건물 등과 같이 규칙적인 형태의 구조물에 대한 해석에 매우 효율적인 SWAN88은 주택, 공장, 창고, 격납고 또는 체육관 등과 같이 보, 기둥 및 전단벽 이외에 트러스나 아취 등이 사용되는 구조물의 해석에는 적합하지 않다.

Status of Policy Implementation and Review of Institution on Multi-functionalization of School Facilities (학교시설 복합화 제도 검토 및 정책 현황)

  • This study aims to analyze related laws and institutions and identify research trends and the policy implementation status of the multifunctionalization of school facilities. Beginning in 2001 at Seoul Geumho Elementary School, the enactment of the "Act On The Establishment, Operation And Management Of Multifunction School Facilities" in 2020, was elucidated through the concept and spectrum of the multifunctionalization of school facilities. The relevant research mainly focuses on elementary schools, elderly facilities, and space planning. The Living SOC Project in 2019 acted as a trigger in promoting the multifunctionalization of school facilities as a central government policy. In 2023, the Ministry of Education announced measures and guidelines for establishing the multifunctionalization of school facilities by conducting the project with respect to the "Nulbum School" policy.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the necessary measures for the school safety experience education space to provide the elementary school students with the ability to provide safety education through experiences routinely and repeatedly. For this purpose, we investigated the conditions of safety experience in Jeollabuk-do and the case of other cities as a factor for operating the school safety experience educational space. In order to clarify the appropriateness of this, a questionnaire was conducted for the teachers in the local area. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the use of two classrooms in the place and the scale in the operation of the school safety experiential education space should be sought in various places such as hall, multipurpose room, and gymnasium according to the school condition. Experiential areas should be operated by elementary school students customized, but specialized facilities or large scale should be used for professional safety experience facilities. For efficient operation, the base school wanted to be located in a place where accessibility of other school students was easy, and that a school with sufficient space would be selected.

  • This study aims to analyze the current status of school library assessment and generate discussion points for the development directions of the assessment. Surveys, consulting, and evaluations related to school libraries conducted by the Office of Education, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism were analyzed using meta-evaluations and in-depth interviews with the school librarians. The analysis revealed problems such as duplication of evaluation by various institutions, no reflection of the national school library development plan, low participation rate due to voluntary nature of the assessment, and lack of the educational evaluation index. The solution to the problem was a school libraries' operation evaluation improvement plan. The plan included the legal evaluation agent specification, the national school library development plan incorporation, inter-agency evaluation network & the case sharing system establishment, and the Office of Education's investigation and consulting cooperation.

  • This study tried to provide the way of development in sport-climbing base on the history and present of Korean sport climbing. In terms of the policy, single sport climbing association needs to be formed and separated from Korean Alpine Federation. School teams and athletes are required to expand, college teams in particular. These athletes could be sport instructors and professional athletes vitalizing competition and sport climbing after graduation. Public sport climbing facilities need to be counted accurately. Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism needs to administrate the public sport blimbing facilities by counting and checking the facilities with the responsibility.

  • The aim of this study is to provide fundamental data for acoustic design by analyzing the room acoustic characteristics according to the PA system used in the school gymnasium. The measurements were carried out accordance with the ISO 3382. The sources used in this study were four types; omni-directional, centralized, distribution, the combination of centralized and distribution sound source system. Omni-directional system is recommended by ISO for the acoustic test and the others are installed on the wall, column and ceiling in the school gymnasium for sound reinforcement.
