  • The purpose of this study is to investigate retest reliabilities in longitudinal study, the same test is administered repeatedly over time. Linear mixed models were used to establish various situations of tests occurred in longitudinal study. Combination of two types of true value and three types of systematic error was considered. In order to apply the models to real longitudinal data, height data from the Berkeley growth study and vocabulary score data from the University of Chicago experimental school were used. Using the mixed model, there is an advantage that the reliability can be determined by selecting the covariance structure of the true value and the error separately. However, in order to properly analyze the reliability, researchers need to consider variations that can occur in measurement, such as characteristics of subject, the test, and the the treatment applied in the study. And the proper model should be selected and the quality of the measurement should be evaluated for each trial.

Using the indigenous methodology, adolescents were asked the reasons why they trusted their mother, father, friends, and teachers. Parents were asked why they trusted their children, spouse and their children's teachers. A total of 1,737 participants completed an open-ended survey: 579 adolescents (274 middle school and 305 high school students) and their parents (579 fathers) and (579 mothers). The results indicate that adolescents trust their parents because of their sacrifice, followed by consanguinity (i.e., blood relationship), respect, their trust in me, dependability, and their advice and counseling. The reasons why adolescents trust their teachers is because of the academic guidance they provide, unconditional trust of teachers, their concern and care, respect for teachers, advice and counseling they provide, they are like parents, and because of their sacrifice for the students. The reasons for trusting their friends are as follows: Dependability, closeness, unconditional trust of friends, their understanding of me, and their emotional support. The reasons why parents trust their children are: Children's sincerity, honesty, consanguinity, parents' expectation and communication with the children, children's obedience, and since they are diligent in their schoolwork. The reasons for trusting one's spouse are reported to be sincerity, their sacrifice for the family, honesty, unconditional trust of a spouse, and because of mutual support. The reasons why parents trust their children's teachers are reported as follows: Unconditional trust of teachers, their sacrifice for the students, and their sincerity. There were no significant differences across the type of school and academic grades in terms of trust of parents. However, middle school students are more likely to trust their teachers, and high school students are more likely trust their friends. The male students rather than female students and those students with higher academic grades are more likely to trust their parents, friends, and teachers. For parents, there were no significant differences across age, sex, and educational status concerning the trust of their children, spouse, and children's teachers. There was a positive correlations between parents' trust of their spouse and children and their children's trust of their parents. There was also a positive correlations of mothers' trust of children's teachers and the children's trust of their teachers.

Three main resources such as 2 hours teaching learning plan for disabled activity, recording sheets and evaluation sheets had been developed. The process plan had been applied 214 senior students in 7 middle schools purposely selected by areas, constructed years, number of stories of school during November to December, 2005. General accessible levels of middle school facilities was somewhat inadequate especially exterior slops, toilets, bowls were the most unaccessible ones. Most of all students had accidents and/or injuries in school environments from minor to major ones. Male Students were more likely than female Students to get injuries. Students experience of accidents and injuries and awareness of inconvenience, danger, needed facilities supported. the result of the accessibility levels evaluated by disabled activities. Students were generally satisfied with and positive to the teaching learning process plan developed and applied in this study. Students had improved critical Perspectives as well as awareness of inaccessible chances in the school facilities through the experimental process. The evaluation as differed by school characteristics and students' interests in disability.

  • This study was conducted to investigate follow up tests and related factors in students who tested positive for in urine tests. For the purpose of this study, the authors analysed a self-administered questionnaire collected from 316 middle school students and 451 high school students who had positive urinalysis results in Kyungpook province during the month of February, 1996. The major findings of this study were as follows : The proportion of follow up tests among students was 39.2% in middle school students and 34.1% in high school students. There was a significant relation among a number of factors : parents' environment, health concern, and knowledge of urinalysis results, existence of nursing teachers, education concerning urinalysis, medical facility visits, and notification methods. In a multiple logistic regression analysis a higher economic level, parents' concern, knowledge of urinalysis results, medical facility visits, anti direct notification of parents were all significantly related with the follow up tests. On consideration of the above findings, in order to perform practical and effective follow-up management of students who have a positive result in urine test, direct notification of urine test result to parents as well as active health guidance in school are required.

  • This study aims to examine the relationship between physical education class activity of youth, smartphone dependence and school life adaptation. The data set of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) by National Youth Policy Institute was reanalyzed for this study. The subjects of this study were 2,351 second grade middle school students from 2011. The data were coded with the use of the statistics program on Windows, SPSS 23.0. To analyse the data, descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, one-way ANOVA and regression analysis were employed. The findings of this research are as follows. First, the difference between the activity hours of youth physical education classes and the reliance on smartphones is less dependent on smartphones as they participate enthusiastically in physical education classes. Second, the difference of physical education class activity time and school life adaptation among adolescents was more positive for school life adaptation as learning activity, peer relationship and teacher relationship were more active. third, the dependence of youth on smartphones has a positive effect on learning activities and school rules as the reliance on smartphones is low.

  • The purpose of this study is to present the direction of employment guidance for long-term service through the analysis of the cause of employment of employed students who graduated from specialized high school. In particular, the purpose is to present student guidance plans for long-term service by analyzing personal reasons for students graduating from commercial high schools and policy factors for individual, school, company, and government service after employment. To this end, a survey was conducted for graduates of commercial high schools nationwide, and the validity, reliability, and causality of the survey data were analyzed by applying Exploratory Factor Analysis, Cronbach's Alpha, and decision tree analysis techniques. We found that personal goal setting for employment is an important factor for working for more than 1 year, personal relationships at work and personal characteristics are important factors for working for more than 3 years. In addition, we found that the reason for getting a job is that personal reasons and school recommendations are great, special lectures on employment, camps, and 'advice from seniors and teachers' programs are helpful in finding a job, and accounting and computer related subjects are helpful for long-term employment. Accordingly, in specialized high schools, it is required to prepare specific instructional measures for education such as setting personal goals and the formation of human relationships that are the basis of social life, and to actively operate the above subjects and programs to help with employment and longevity.
