  • 영어 교육용 소프트웨어는 다양한 기법을 적용하여 개발, 활용되고 있으며 영어 능력을 중요시하는 현재의 시대상을 반영하듯 학교, 학원, 직장 외에 개인 PC를 이용해 시간과 장소의 제약 없이 쉽고, 재미있게 영어 공부를 돕는데 목적이 두고 지속적으로 개발되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 영어 교육의 중요성을 높게 판단하여 영어 단어를 중점적으로 학습하는데 목표를 둔 시스템을 구현하였다. 즉, TTS를 활용하여 음성적 교육 방식을 적용하였으며 영어 단어 학습 과정과 문제 풀이 과정으로 분류하여 영어 공부에 대한 흥미를 유발시키는 시스템을 설계하였으며 개인 계정을 통한 학습 과정 진도를 저장 및 관리하는 시스템 환경을 구현하였다.

  • The hydrodynamics code is a numerical tool developed for modeling high velocity impacts where the materials are assumed to behave like fluids. The hydrodynamics code is widely used for solving impact problems, such as rock blasting using explosives. For a realistic simulation of rock blasting, it is necessary to model explosives numerically so that the interaction problem between rock and explosives can be solved in a fully coupled manner. The equation of state of explosives, which describes the state of the material under given physical conditions, should be established. In this paper, we introduced the hydrodynamics code used for explosion process modeling, the equation of state of explosives, and the determination of associated parameters.

  • Nowadays it is necessary to replace electrical wires with another intelligent connection method because the consumers, who have much experience with mobile smart devices, are expecting easier and smarter connectivity in their home electronics such as wireless linking. In this paper a bidirectional CEC control scheme is newly proposed to expand the controllability from one to two way in a millimeter band image transmission system because two degree of freedom controllability presents more intelligent convenience in HDMI interface systems. Experimental study shows the feasibility of the proposed system as an advanced image transmission solution in millimeter band including an intelligent 2 DOF CEC interface with the performance result of 3.0 Gbps transmission band for 1080p full-HD image steaming.

  • The descent and ascent phases for a lunar lander are composed of several phases. Accordingly, the constraints and control values adequate for each phase are required in order to generate optimal lander's trajectory. The optimal trajectories for descent and ascent phases are generated by the cost function to minimize fuel consumption & attitude variation rates. In this paper, the optimal control problem to make trajectory uses Gauss pseudo-spectral method which is one of the direct approach method. This problem generates lander's reference trajectory, states and controls.

  • 연속적이고 무한히 발생되는 데이터 스트림을 관리하는 데이터 스트림 관리시스템(DSMS)은 연속질의를 이용하여 스트림을 처리한다. 연속질의는 질의 별로 독립적인 큐를 유지하기 때문에 질의 개수가 증가함에 따라서 메모리 비용이 증가되며, 잦은 메모리 할당으로 인한 시스템의 성능 저하를 갖는다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 기존의 연구로 메모리 풀을 이용한 메모리 관리 기법이 있다. 하지만 페이지의 크기가 고정되어 있기 때문에 각 질의마다 필요로 하는 데이터 스트림의 최적의 크기에 적합하게 할당되지 못하여 메모리를 낭비하는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 연속질의 처리를 위한 큐 메모리 관리 기법을 제안한다. 제안기법은 큐 관리 테이블에서 관리하는 각각의 큐 메모리들을 타임스탬프를 가지고 일정한 기간을 주기로 큐 메모리의 사용량을 분석한다. 분석된 큐 메모리들은 이전의 큐 메모리의 사용량과 현재 사용된 큐 메모리의 사용량을 비교함으로써 상한 값과 하한 값을 구함으로써 현재 큐 메모리에서 가지고 있는 사용량을 추가할 것인지, 줄일 것인지를 판단하여, 메모리의 사용량을 최적화 함으로써 시스템의 메모리 가용성을 향상한다. 제안 기법은 성능평가를 통해 메모리의 가용성이 기존의 방식에 비하여 향상된 성능을 보인다.

  • In this paper, We have researched about the Electronic Ballast for 250W HPS(High Pressure Sodium) lamp. This Electronic Ballast is capable to operate the Ignition and Steady State Using the Class D LCC resonant tank, and minimizing the full-bridge inverter's Switching Stress by implementation Quasi-square ZC-ZVS Soft Switching Method. And also, We have reduced the heat of MOS-FETs and high frequency switching surge noise using the RCD damp snubber. Therefore, We are sure that the developed ballast has the properties of the stable & reliable Control and the function of minimizing the total noise of the system.

  • Internet application for education has drawn interests in recent time. Usually the method of communication was unidirectional, which means teachers posted educational material on a server and students received them. Even the usage of WWW can't overcome the restriction of unidirectional communication problem. In order to solve this problem, researchers and commercial vendors began to provide packages for bidirectional solution. WBT(Web Based Test) is important subject in this viewpoint. In this paper, the development and application of the 'Module Study' will be presented. The system realize the powerful personalized tutoring, which is even beyond the capability of conventional WBT, and propose a new direction of Web Based Learning.

  • In this paper, a frequency tripler has been designed with 100mW medium-power using P-HEMT. It is designed to obtain 7.2GHz frequency at the output that is an integer multiple of 2.4GHz input frequency by using nonlinear device that produces 3rd harmonic. The frequency tripler is designed by using load-pull simulation. To suppress the 2nd and fundamental, notch filter is used for the frequency tripler. The tripler is designed to obtain about 21dBm output power with 15dBm input, i.e., 6dB conversion gain and the suppression of 20dBc at fundamental, and 30dBc at the second harmonics.

  • This paper describes the development of educational and training package with Integrated graphic environment for power system analysis '||'&'||' operation. This package runs on a personal computer with interactive scheme and includes a graphic editor for modeling of power system, a database system, the various graphic illustration '||'&'||' animation modules to represent the simulation results, and the application module of the power system analysis '||'&'||' operation. The proposed package is tested on a sample system, the package will be useful for the education and training of power system analysis and operation.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the interaction effect of Web site menu designs and information structures on two information searching performances (searching and browsing) and three measures of users' attitudes (appeal, usability, and disorientation). Pronounced interaction effects occurred across four dependent variables except searching when decreasing and increasing information structure were combined with a simple selection menu and a pull-down menu. Further studies are needed to investigate additional interactions among factors of interface and information structure of Web sites.
