Design of Cruise Control System using Piece-wised Control for Electric Vehicle (구간제어기법을 이용한 전기 자동차의 정속주행용 속도제어기의 설계)

  • In this paper, a design scheme of a cruise control system for an electric vehicle using piece-wised PD control is proposed. Cruise control of electric vehicles is one of the major performance elements. Drive motors having linear characteristics ideally is required in order to achieve the cruise driving. But practical motors have nonlinear characteristics and the performance of the motors can be improved by the closed-loop control to compensate it. In this paper, we improved the performance of by applying piece-wised PD control because the driving motors having nonlinear characteristics are difficult to obtain adequate performance only using closed-loop control. In order to test the proposed method, the experiments were carried out by applying the proposed method after setting up an electric vehicle equiped with a driving motors having large nonlinear characteristics. The experiment results of the proposed piece-wised PD control shows better performance than that of closed-loop control.

  • In this paper, we present a novel predictive CDMA closed-loop power control (CLPC) method with a multi-step least squares (LS) linear predictor for time-varying fading channels. The proposed method effectively compensates multiple power control group delays and provides significant performance gains over nonpredictive CLPCs as well as conventional predictive CLPCs with one-step linear predictor.

  • This paper shows a small and low-powered wireless communication system based on the ATSC broadcasting system using the ISM frequency band that can be used as a PBS(Personal Broadcasting System). It is designed to demonstrate a channel-adaptive CR(Cognitive Radio) system to provide a better service quality in the unlicensed band where co-channel interference exists. And it achieved very reliable communications by a closed-loop active phased array antenna. This ATSC-based personal broadcasting platform can be modified easily with given flexibility by using GNU Radio as an open-source signal processing platform based on USRP and implementing additional functions in FPGA. In addition, the chosen communication frequency resource can be managed and controlled by the return channel that transmits the channel status and communication parameters between transmission and reception in real-time.

  • 자동차용 배터리는 초기 용량의 80% 이하가 되면 교체하게 되며, 근간 폐배터리의 수가 폭발적으로 증가할 것으로 예측되고 있다. 폐배터리의 폐기로 인한 환경 파괴를 방지하고 자원을 재활용하기 위해서 자동차에서 나오는 폐배터리를 에너지저장장치(ESS)로 재사용 하는 것에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 폐배터리를 ESS로 재구성하기 위해서는 폐배터리 모듈의 그레이딩을 통해 비슷한 성능의 모듈끼리 모아서 구성하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 배터리 모듈 간의 불균형은 전체 시스템의 성능을 저하시키며, 따라서 비슷한 성능과 잔존 수명을 가진 모듈을 골라내는 일은 폐배터리의 재사용에 있어서 첫 번째 선결 과제가 된다. 본 연구에서는 폐배터리의 상태 및 잔존수명평가를 위해 배터리 모듈의 임피던스 스펙트럼을 측정할 수 있는 장비를 개발하였다. 폐배터리 모듈에 AC 섭동을 인가하고 이를 측정하여 임피던스 스펙트럼을 계산할 수 있는 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 개발 장비는 60V이하의 폐배터리 모듈의 임피던스 스펙트럼을 0.1Hz에서 1kHz까지 측정 가능하며, 측정 결과를 바탕으로 커브 피팅을 통해 등가회로의 파라미터도 계산할 수 있다. SM3에서 얻어진 폐배터리 모듈을 이용하여 측정한 임피던스 스펙트럼을 상용장비인 BIM2로 측정한 결과를 비교하였고, Reduced Chi-Square를 이용한 분석결과 두 데이터가 거의 일치함을 알 수 있었다.

  • A differential codebook design method using wireless channel's temporal correlation is proposed over closed loop multiple-input single-output (MISO) system. The single layer codewords in a codebook are selected among a set of phase elements. In the conventional codeword selection rule, codewords are assumed to be on a spherical cap and sine formula was used. In this paper, however, a new method using Pythagoras formula is employed to simplify computational complexity. Also, an adaptive differential codebook selection is adopted to enhance performance. Monte-Carlo simulations demonstrate that the proposed codebook is superior to the conventional ones.

  • 퍼지논리제어기는 제어 대상 플랜트에 관한 완전한 정보를 필요로하지 않으면서도 우수한 제어 성능을 발휘하는 비선형 제어기이다. 그러나 퍼지논리제어기는 많은 장점에도 불구하고 엄격한 수학적 해석을 요구하는 안정성 분석의 관점에서는 다소의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지논리제어기를 가지는 전체 폐루프 시스템을 섭동의 성분을 가지는 Lur'e 시스템으로 변형하고, 이를 통하여 퍼지논리제어기의 절대 안정성을 입증하고자 한다. 여기서는 이미 기존의 논문에서 제시한 간단구조 퍼지논리제어기를 대상으로 절대 안정성 해석을 제시한다.

Performance Evaluation for Fast Closed-Loop Power Control of cdma2000 Forward Link in frequency-Selective Rayleigh Fading Channel (주파수 선택적 Rayleigh 페이딩 채널에서 cdma2000 순방향링크의 고속 폐루프 전력제어에 대한 성능 평가)

  • In this paper, we handle the estimation method of the received $E_{b}l1_{o}$ for forward closed-loop power control in cdma2000 systems. The estimation of MS-received $E_{b}l1_{o}$ utilizes the symbols related to the forward power control subchannel transmission. The estimation of the received bit energy and noise variance is analyzed for the frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel. In order to improve SIR (signal-to-interference), the estimation of the received bit energy is made by the coherent combining of the rake-fingers and received I/Q symbols. And, in this paper, we evaluate the performance of forward closed-loop power control according to the mobile speed and the power adjustment step size in terms of the bit error rate (BER) and power control error. Simulation results present the optimal power adjustment step sizes according to the mobile speeds.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기 보트 추진을 위한 SPMSM(Surface mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) 구동 시스템을 개발하였다. 전차원 폐루프 관측기를 이용하여 외란 토크 관측기를 구성하고, 관측된 외란 성분을 속도 제어기 출력에 보상하여 속도 제어 성능을 향상시켰다. 리튬이온 배터리, 인버터 및 1kW SPMSM으로 구성된 전기 보트 추진 시스템을 이용한 구동 실험을 통해 추진용 전동기의 속도 제어 특성을 확인하였다.

Design of an observer-based decentralized fuzzy controller for discrete-time interconnected fuzzy systems (이산시간 상호결합 퍼지 시스템을 위한 관측기 기반 분산 퍼지 제어기 설계)

  • In this paper, an observer-based decentralized fuzzy controller is designed for discrete-time interconnected fuzzy systems. Based on the fuzzy subsystem of the interconnected fuzzy system, the observer-based decentralized fuzzy controller is considered. By using the fuzzy subsystem and the observer-based decentralized fuzzy controller, the closed-loop system is obtained. From the closed-loop system, the stability condition with the maximum interconnection bound is developed, and its sufficient condition is represented as the linear matrix inequality (LMI). Finally, the numerical example is provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed technique.
