The Effects of Social Welfare Agency's Supervision Support System on Supervision Competence (슈퍼비전 지지체계가 슈퍼비전 역량에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the supervision competence of supervisor from the comparative perspective of supervisor and supervisee, and investigates the effects of organizational factors on supervisor's supervision competence. For this purpose, data collected from 241 workers at social welfare agencies in Gyeonggi-do were analyzed through t-test and hierarchical regression analysis. The major results of data analysis are as follows. First, supervisors are more positive than supervisees in terms of supervision competence. Second, there is a statistically significant difference between two groups in supervision knowledge and qualities among the subfields of supervision competence. Third, in the case of supervisors, the younger the age and the higher the education level, the more positively they perceive their supervision competence, and agency's supervision support explains supervision competence at the level of △R2 = .305 at p> .001. Finally, based on the results of this study, the directions for strengthening the supervision competence were suggested.

  • The utilization of robots in programming education students the interest and motivation of learning. But at the same time the robot is required that understanding of the structure and understand the internal program(programming). So what problems are caused by error or if the student has difficulty identifying. The purpose of this study is the use of simulation tool in robot programming education possibilities will want to see. Elementary school students to analyze the possibility of non-simulation tool and simulation tool was applied. And usability evaluation and simulation tool, the survey recognized the potential of the education were analyzed. As a result, the usability of between simulation tool and non-simulation tool and there was no difference. And student can preview the results of programming and simulation tool can easily identify errors for recognizing the positive respectively. Based on this results, simulation tool can be utilized in robot education.

The Effects of Hedonic Aspect of Consumer Involvement on Purchase Behavior (소비자관여의 감성적 측면이 구매행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The level and motivational basis of consumer involvement have been recognized as having important effects on purchase behavior. To explore the importance of hedonic aspects of involvement upon consumer purchase behavior, survey data on involvement degree and type concerning 8 product classes from 388 respondents was analyzed. Major findings of this study are summarized as follow. First of all, hedonic factor is evidenced as an important component of consumer involvement. In addition, hedonic dimension of involvement is proved to have significant effects on consumer purchase behavior in general. Secondly, analysis of the difference in behavioral tendencies between purchasing product with hedonic value(coffee) and utilitarian motive(washing machine) shows that consumers have relatively high in degree of brand differentiation, brand commitment, product knowledge in purchasing product with hedonic value. This means that hedonic aspect of product and thus hedonic involvement has not less important in predicting consumer behavior. Finally, several interactive effects, which suppot to and conflict against the previous research findings, between level and type of involvement upon purchase behaviors are detacted. This implies that hedonically induced involvement has moderating roles in the effects of consumer involvement on purchase behavior.

  • According to the revised guideline for information & communication technology, algorithm has to be dealt with the learning contents from elementary school, so now it needs to study various educational methods for students to learn algorithm easily and effectively. In this study, after selecting sort algorithms as the content of learning, which is recognized as an important part of algorithm, an playing activity-based algorithm teaching method and an animation-based algorithm learning and teaching method were applied for the lower graders of an elementary school. Sorting algorithm education is adopted in two different ways, then we got two conclusions after analyzing the results of a specially designed achievement test and the questionnaire. First, there were not great differences in both educational methods in academic achievement, but it was clear that the lower grade elementary students can learn algorithm with ease. Second, the playing activity-centered algorithm education is more effective than animation-based education in improving students' comprehension, interest and satisfaction.

  • Computer programming education gives students a chance to use computers independently and actively. This plays a very positive role in acquiring higher cognitive skills such as mathematical skills and creative logical thinking. Thus the purpose of this study is to measure the degrees of students' problem-solving abilities using MCU programming kits based on the ICT Education Guide. The experiment confirms that programming classes using MCU kits have a more positive effect on the students problem-solving abilities than do those using the existing computer textbooks. The sub-constituents of problem-solving abilities - problem recognition, information gathering, analysis, diffuse thinking, decision-making, planning, execution, evaluation and feedback - also show significant statistical differences. Therefore, we can conclude that programming classes using MCU kits are very effective in advancing problem-solving abilities.

  • This study attempted to find out that organizational culture and organizational support are the main factors of an effect on team, a kind of making unit of broadcasting programming, commitment. And especially this research tried out that each organizational culture type had an effect differently on team commitment using of Linear Structural Equation Modeling(LISREL). In order to empirically test to the research model, data were collected by 280 terrestrial Broadcasting PD in Seoul. Result showed that each organizational culture has a differential influence on the path and effect of organizational support and team commitment. The educational system and production back up of the Organizational support system have not enough to support and promote the team commitment except reward system. As a consequence, Broadcasting organization make a strategy considering of dominant organizational culture type.

A Comparison of the Superiority of the Service Quality Measurement Model based on the Port Loading and Unloading Business (항만하역업 서비스품질 측정모형의 비교연구)

  • In point of fact, there is a lack of explicit models that explain how services are perceived and evaluated by consumers who use them; present research on service quality has begun as a measure to complement this development. In this study, we applied the service quality model of PZB model based on Parasuraman et al.(1988) and the BNC model based on Brady and Cronin(2001), and compared the superiorities of each model. As a result of analyzing the questionnaire provided for terminal users, the BNC model is more superior than the PZB model. The increase in the number of factors led to an increase in the provided information, as a result of this, the model's explanatory power seems to be high. The results of this study may be different according to the characteristics of the industry, but we hope that the results presented in this study will lead to the expansion of the scope of research for the port loading and unloading business in the future.

Surveying and Analysing the Importance of Employment Supporting Activities of University (대학의 취업지원활동 조사 및 중요도 분석)

  • The percentage of employment is getting important in the evaluation of university as the youth unemployment is increasing day by day and job shortage is followed. To improve the employment, several research from academy and various fields has been performed. However, systemic and long-term supports for improving the percentage of employment has been raised. Therefore, this study aims to survey the main activities for employment and analyse the importance of main activities. First, supporting activities for employment are surveyed about 19 universities. Second, the relative importance of supporting activities for employment are analysed to students and employment supporter by AHP. Third, portfolio analysis are conducted to analyse the difference of awareness on the employment supporting activities. This study is expected to strengthen the capability of university's employment and help to establish the policy for employment supporting activities.

Evaluation of English Term Extraction based on Inner/Outer Term Statistics

  • Automatic term extraction is to recognize domain-specific terms given a collection of domain-specific text. Previous term extraction methods operate effectively in unsupervised manners which include extracting candidate terms, and assigning importance scores to candidate terms. Regarding the calculation of term importance scores, the study focuses on utilizing sets of inner and outer terms of a candidate term. For a candidate term, its inner terms are shorter terms which belong to the candidate term as components, and its outer terms are longer terms which include the candidate term as their component. This work presents various functions that compute, for a candidate term, term strength from either set of its inner or outer terms. In addition, a scoring method of a term importance is devised based on C-value score and the term strength values obtained from the sets of inner and outer terms. Experimental evaluations using GENIA and ACL RD-TEC 2.0 datasets compare and analyze the effectiveness of the proposed term extraction methods for English. The proposed method performed better than the baseline method by up to 1% and 3% respectively for GENIA and ACL datasets.

Critical Contemplation on the Naming of Older Persons in Legal Provisions (법규정상에 나타난 고연령자 명명(命名)에 대한 비판적 고찰)

  • Korean laws use several different terms to refer to seniors. This study looks into how older persons are defined in the laws with an aim to critically review the implications of the naming of older persons. For this goal, the laws that have been enforced since 1948 and those effective as of October 20 in 2011 were subject to analysis. The findings of this research are as the following. Korean laws have used a number of terms, including the terms meaning the old and infirm (nosoeja), old individuals (noin, goryeongja, noyeonja), and the old and weak (noyakja). However, such naming does not seem to be based on age. An analysis of noin and goryeongja, two most common terms used in Korea's legal provisions, shows the difference between social perceptions of seniors and the semantic formation of the terms. For example, noin is used in the context in which seniors are viewed rather negatively as subjects of social protection while goryeongja, a relatively neutral term, is preferred when the law sees the elderly as productive resources. It can be said that the perceived social values on senior citizens are reflected in the laws.
