The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Department of Korea have formulated various policy for development of teacher's ICT competence. But most of efforts expended upon ICT utilization currently, emphasize the ability which can handle computer skillfully than the ability for practical use in instruction, so that cannot induce distinct competence according to the duties and operations of teachers. This study aims to make scales for teacher's ability of ICT utilization in education of Korea. For the original purpose of evaluation, this tool made by job analysis and comparative studies with the existing appraisal standards. It can be the standards for evaluation of teacher's wholly duties on ICT applied education and proper self-evaluation tool for improvement of teacher's ability on ICT utilizing instruction. I processed measurement value of participant of Gwangju and Jeollanamdo area in this system and analyzed the level of teacher's abilities using ICT, a sex gap, regional difference, duty position difference and education career difference etc.

Interaction Scale between Teachers and Children for childcare teachers (ISTC) was constructed based on the research data completed by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family with a participation of childcare teachers and early childhood educators. The results of this study were; First, the study found that the 42 items of the ISTC were categorized into eight factors by 205 childcare teachers: a positive language and behaviors of teachers, encouragement of positive interactions among peers, offering a nap time, toilet use, emotional intervention, free play participation, an equal care of children, and meals and snack time. Second, these factors exhibited a high correlation interactively. Third, the ISTC showed a high correlation with teachers' performance scale.

The purpose of this study was to develop a short biomedical ethics tool for healthcare workers, compare it with pre-existing tool, and increase reliability. Data were collected from 211 healthcare workers working in G-do. Exploratory factor analysis was carried out using Varimax rotation extraction method in IBM SPSS WIN/21.0. Convergent validity of the tool was verified by regression and correlation analysis with original tool score. Reliability was verified by calculating intraclass correlation coefficient and internal consistency coefficient. The short, reduced 21 questions tool reflected 84% of pre-existing tool's biomedical ethics. Its reliability was higher than the 29 question tool for nursing students, but there were differences in the components of subdomains and reliability coefficient. Additional development of questions through qualitative research and interviews are needed to increase reliability of the subdomains. Measurement of biomedical ethics dilemma with the tool that has validity and reliability is needed, followed by replication studies.

It is necessary to understand and apply the concept of Quality of Service(QoS) for the objective selection among the computer network equipment. Because ITU-T E.800 recommendation covers the service quality of provider's viewpoint and the satisfaction of user, it can be used to evaluate and select the product of computer network systems. This paper is concerned with the development of an evaluation model using QoS and software tool for selection of the most suitable LAN switch. We apply the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method of Saaty which has been in a multiple criteria framework for an effective group decision process to the selection of LAN switch. The sample data are collected and processed from a questionnaire of professionals in the network field. And we implement a prototype tool for the selection of LAN switch according to the suggested selection model and analyse the result. The result of our research is expected to be a useful tool for decision making to evaluate and select the LAN switch and also can be applied to the decision making of evaluation and selection related to the product of computer network with QoS.

Practical research, as well as theoretical research, about performance assessment is important for the successful application of performance assessment in school. To do this, two school teachers with professional educators studied theoretical basics of performance assessment for several months. As a result, 4 categories of issues for designing performance assessment were generated and described by teachers. Based on those issues, 5 directions for development were established, and finally, 7 types of performance assessment were developed. Developed items were disseminated to other two middle school teachers for application in school. After application during several months, interviews with them were conducted to obtain the informations and implications about the practical application of performance assessment.

본 논문에서는 영어 학습을 도와주고 영한 기계번역 시스템의 평가를 통해 기계번역 시스템의 성능 개선을 위한 도구인 HS-eLearner를 설계, 구현하였다. HS-eLearner는 영어 문장의 번역 뿐만 아니라 입력 문장의 구조, 문장에 사용된 단어의 의미를 제공하여 사용자의 효과적인 영어 학습을 보조하는 기능을 가진다. 또한 사용자가 번역된 문장을 평가하여 사용자에 의한 객관적인 번역 시스템에 대한 평가를 기대할 수 있으며 평가 결과를 개발자에게 제공함으로써 번역 시스템의 성능 개선에 사용될 수 있다. 즉 사용자와 개발자간의 커뮤니케이션을 제공함으로써 사용자의 요구를 수용할 수 있는 시스템으로의 개선을 용이하게 한다.

The assessment of patient status in palliative medicine is essential for determining treatments and for clinical outcomes. The objective of assessment tools is to raise the quality of care for individual patients and their families. There are a number of tools available to assess pain, non-pain symptoms and quality of life. The tools are either uni-dimensional or multi-dimensional measures. Unfortunately, however, no single tool is recommended to be a superior to others in symptoms or quality of life assessment. Therefore, to select an appropriate assessment tool, one should consider the time frame and unique characteristics of tools depending on purpose and setting. The combination of prognostic index is highly recommended in prognostication, and web-based prognostic tools are available. Recently, a new objective prognostic score has been constructed through multicenter study in Korea. It does not include clinicalestimates of survival, but includes new objective prognostic factors, therefore, anyone can easily use it. For beginners in palliative medicine, relatively easy-to-use tools would be convenient. We recommend Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status to assess functional status, numeric rating scale for pain assessment and the Korean version of brief pain inventory for initial pain assessment. Asking directly with numeric rating scale or the Korean version of MD Anderson Symptom Inventory would be desirable to assess various symptoms together. We think that European Organization Research and Treatment Quality of Life Questionnaire Core 15 for Palliative Care is good to assess the quality of life, while Objective Prognostic Score is convenient as prognostic index for beginners.

Sport talent development center have been operating in order to support sports gifted children of the training in the early finding and selecting potential elementary school students for sports. For this purpose, elementary students in grades 2~6 are selected through basal fitness and physique test. However qualitative assessment of the student was not in progress, but depending on current physique and fitness totally sports talented children were selected. Therefore this study was to develop a tool to determine giftedness based on the observation method to assess the athletic potential of gifted children based on Yoon's competition intelligence(2011). For this purpose of study, sub-factors were extracted through expert consultations. Based on the extracted sub-factors, such as training intelligence, learning ability practical intelligence were extracted for practical intelligence, and finally 16 evaluation questions were proposed to evaluate sports talented children. Proposed questions will be helpful for quality evaluation of sports gifted children, as well as using as a method for discovering sports gifted children.

최근 많은 기업들이 조직 내의 소프트웨어 프로세스 개선을 위한 CMMI 레벨 획득을 위해 노력을 기울이고 있다. 하지만 기존의 CMMI 지원 솔루션들은 특정 프로세스 영역별로 분리되어 제한적으로 활용됨으로써 원활한 평가 지원에 한계가 있다. 따라서 소프트웨어 단계별 프로세스 전반에 걸쳐 툴, 자산 그리고 산출물들의 연계적 적용, 관리를 지원하는 통합 저장소 활용이 절대적으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 이질적인 CMMI 관련 툴, 방법론 그리고 다양한 문서 등을 효과적으로 관리 지원을 위한 통합 저장소인 PARMS(Process Assets Repository Management System) 개발 기술에 대해 서술한다. 즉, 통합 저장소 아키텍처와 메타데이터를 설계하고, 통합 모델을 제시한다. 이들 모델을 기반으로 하여 기 개발된 각 도구간의 효과적 네트워킹을 위한 미들웨어 아키텍처 구현은 CBD 개발 기법을 적용한다. 그리고 구현된 프로토타이핑 시스템 실행 예를 제시하고 저장소 평가 모델을 적용하여 평가한다. 이를 통해 소프트웨어 프로세스 개선을 위한 기존의 지원 도구로부터 산출되는 이질적인 산출물들을 통합하여 보다 쉽고 간편한 제어 및 관리를 가능케 하며, 통합된 소프트웨어 프로세스 개선 자산을 통해 CMMI의 인증 지원에 유용한 도구로 활용가능하다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a survey tool of scientific character for elementary student which connects science education and character education effectively by figuring out traits of elementary students' character being presented in teaching and learning context of elementary school science. For this, we adapted the theocratical model from the previous research which defined scientific character as the competencies being able to practice in concrete teaching and learning context of science. Based on this model, we developed the survey tool as 'Scientific Character Inventory for Elementary Student' to assess elementary students' scientific character as the competences to practice the virtues being pursued in the context of elementary school science and verified its reliability and validity. As a result of an exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, we confirmed all the items could be summarized into 28 items and eight constructs such as scientific problem-solving, self-management, self-reflection, communication, interpersonal skill, community participation, global citizenship, and environmental ethics awareness. We found that minimum reliability coefficient of constructs was over than 0.5 and reliability coefficient of the total items was 0.878. And also, there was modest relationship between each construct and the total score of scientific character. These results show that the developed survey tool can be useful in evaluating the effectiveness of science character education. This study is meaningful in that it systematically reveals constructs of scientific character which can be raised in concrete context of science teaching and learning so as to suggest the survey tool to assess this.
