Geological heritages can be defined conveniently as geological records worthy of conservation, and are represented in most cases by geological outcrops. So survey and evaluation of geologic outcrops are necessary for better conservation of geological heritages. As a measure to prevent potential destruction of geological heritages from various development projects, I propose construction of database based on survey and evaluation forms of geological outcrop, which can also be used for environmental impact assessment. The geological survey form consists of survey area, category, subcategory, location, dimension, geologic features, photo, description, and investigator. The evaluation form consists of evaluation category, detailed evaluation, comprehensive evaluation, and evaluation grade. The evaluation category is divided into academic aspect, education effect and landscape. The detailed evaluation items for academic aspects and education effect are representativeness, rarity, diversity and typicality, while those for geomorphology and landscape are peculiarity, aesthetics and naturalness. The evaluation grades are divided into five, where the first grade means a must of conservation.

This thesis is to propose the method of evaluating the validity in stages on the design of a checklist based on the estimate theory of the validity on the design of a checklist and the method of evaluating the validity accordy to the purpose for usiug checklist and establish the standards of estimating the validity in stages on the checklist owing to the estimate theory with the journal, Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles. We are emboding the statistical consulting server using the proposed estimate method of the validity and the followings we the questions to solve in future. First, there are many kinds of the statistical methods used in the fields of learing and applied technalogy. So we must establish the statistical standars required in each field and study and develope the special statistical checklists. Second, it is neded to systemize the estimate methods and standard on the validity by building the statistical consult DB, evaluate the researchers according to the degrees of statistical knowledge the validity of study design iud propose the delicate and generalized statistical methods appropriate to the ability of researchers.

최근에 음성합성 기술이 발전됨에 따라 이러한 기술을 이용한 새로운 통신 서비스가 등장하고 있으며 그 표준 설정에 있어서 음성 품질은 아주 중요한 요인이 된다. 따라서, 시스템 알고리즘의 진단 적 평가 및 평가치의 상호 비교를 위해 품질 평가방법을 개발하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 규칙 합성음성의 이해성 평가를 위한 기본적 사항들과 개념을 기술하고 ,이해성 평가에 사용되는 단어 표를 구성하는 방법과 단어표를 제안하였다.

The study aims to analyze the records management reference tables currently being utilized and to provide directions on how should be redesigned in the future to operate as a appraisal tool for national archives. From the perspective of "what records should be the national archives", it was intended to analyze the records management reference tables, particularly in the environmental public authorities, and to propose future improvements. The main focus of the analysis is on appraising records that need to be preserved as national archives, and therefore, prior to analysis of the tables, it examines whether the archival selection criteria are clearly presented. Subsequently, the study is conducted how to implement this criteria through the records management reference table of each agency and how its implementation system will be constructed. The analysis will be focused on Ministry of Environment's records management reference table and records schedules or appraisal/selection tools of the central and federal institutions that perform environmental functions in U.S., Australia, and UK.

본 연구는 GPS를 이용하여 위성 영상의 입체 해석으로 산출된 SPOT영상의 기준점 및 수치 표고 모형의 평가에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 삼각점 및 상시관측소를 고정으로 한 GPS 해석을 수행하였으며 정지측량과 이동측량의 정확도를 비교함으로써 위성 영상의 기준점과 수치 표고 모형의 평가를 위한 측량 방법을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, SPOT영상의 해상력을 고려할 때, 이동 GPS측량기법으로도 수치 표고 모형의 정확도 평가가 가능하였으며, 기준점 좌표 산출에 있어서 고정점에 삼각점 대신 상시관측점들을 사용함으로써 경제적인 GPS 측량을 꾀할 수 있었다.

Two-way specification table for educational objectives proposed by B.S.Bloom, which is useful in reviewing and determining the objectives of instructions, is widely used in schools. However, differences in subject matters and school environments require various types of two-way specification table. Extensible markup language (XML) can be effectively applied for two-way specification table for educational objectives because it is well structured and the content of an XML document can be separated from its presentation. In this paper, the document type definition (DTD) for two-way specification table was designed. An example of XML document and XSL style sheet for the table were also presented. Furthermore, applications of the designed DTD were discussed. It is expected that the proposed DTD can be useful to various applications related to education assesment.

This study was to propose new formats for the records of achievement and the student's school life. For the college entrance examination to select excellent students with great potential and for the public education to be normalized through performance assessment, the implications of the reformats of the student achievement are significant. To carry out the study, 658 of students, 230 of teachers from 4 middle schools and 10 high schools, and 24 of college admission officers from 8 universities participated in the questionaries that asked the problems of the current assessment system and the future directions based on the desirable reformats of the school records. The collected opinions and advices from the participants were considered to understand the current status, possible directions, and ways to apply the performance assessment to the college entrance examination.

This study reviewed how the appraisal process of the research records of the cases of Australia and the United States can be planed and managed. As the records schedule includes the list of core records and the appropriate disposal instructions, as well as the fact that it is a critical records management tool, the records schedule was considered for the basis of the research records appraisal system. The results of this study are as follows. First, the research records have to be appraised by research project because research is carried out into project units, and records management is effective when combined with the business practice and basic structure of the operating system. Second, the research institutions have to plan and manage one general disposal schedule and plural disposal schedules in the different research divisions. Finally, the characteristics of research style and the research record of each research institution should be recognized. Moreover, there is a need to link the research appraisal process of each research institution and the national records management system because the research records of public research institutions are public goods. Although various cases were not analyzed, this study is significant that the meaning and role of the research records schedule was reorganized. Also, a discriminatory records schedule according to the characteristics of research records was suggested.

This study was conducted to provide practical ways to apply interview assessments in classrooms. Interview assessments have been asserted to serve as one of the alternatives to the traditional paper-and-pencil tests. In order to propose ways for teachers to actively use interview assessments for mathematics assessments, relevant instruments were developed by analyzing a number of related theories. These instruments were developed in two forms: interview assessments focused on identifying student characteristics and those focused on identifying thought processes. The interview assessments were applied in classroom settings and the results of this application were analyzed. The findings from this study are expected to suggest beneficial implications for teachers who are interested in practicing interview assessments in classrooms.

Punctuality of bus operation can be defined as "timely operation of buses according to their operation schedules." It tis often considered as one of the important measures of bus operation reliability in evaluating bus operation performance from the viewpoint of bus users. Passenger waiting times are severely influenced by the punctuality of bus operations. However, there exist many situations that predetermined schedules cannot be met. In these cases, other definitions of punctuality should be given. This paper is to develop punctuality indexes of bus operation based on various bus operating situations. Bus operation data sampled from Seoul bus system were analyzed to calculate punctuality indexes for a number of bus routes. Then, bus operation punctuality was characterized by various operating conditions. Several interesting results were obtained and explained.
