A Design of Security SoC Prototype Based on Cortex-M0 (Cortex-M0 기반의 보안 SoC 프로토타입 설계)

  • This paper describes an implementation of a security SoC (System-on-Chip) prototype that interfaces a microprocessor with a block cipher crypto-core. The Cortex-M0 was used as a microprocessor, and a crypto-core implemented by integrating ARIA and AES into a single hardware was used as an intellectual property (IP). The integrated ARIA-AES crypto-core supports five modes of operation including ECB, CBC, CFB, CTR and OFB, and two master key sizes of 128-bit and 256-bit. The integrated ARIA-AES crypto-core was interfaced to work with the AHB-light bus protocol of Cortex-M0, and the crypto-core IP was expected to operate at clock frequencies up to 50 MHz. The security SoC prototype was verified by BFM simulation, and then hardware-software co-verification was carried out with FPGA implementation.

  • 변전소 보호, 제어, 감시와 자동화 능력을 선진화하면서 송변전설비 건설, 보수, 운영 및 관리비용을 확실하게 줄이기 위한 계획과 노력이 진행 중이다. 그러나 통신기술이 변화할 때 마다 새로운 통신 표준을 채용하거나 변전소 자동화시스템을 전체 교체하는 것은 바람직하지 않다. 따라서 IEC61850통합으로 기능과 변전소 데이터를 생성과 서버제공, SCADA, 보호응용, 상태 감시의 IED 광역보호 장치 통을 고려해 본다.

An Exploratory Study on the Factors Influencing Informations Systems Integration Performance in Mergers and Acquisitions (기업 인수 및 합병 시 정보시스템 통합성과 결정요인에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • Effectively integrating information systems in mergers and acquisitions of large organizations can be critical to merger success. But the general literature on M&A focuses on the financial aspects of the acquisition process, rather than on the subsequent process of integration. This paper analyses the case of information systems integration in a merger of two Korean manufacturing organizations, and explores the factors influencing IS integration in M&A in Korea. To analysis this case and find factors affecting IS integration success, we use MIT'90s schema (framework) by Scott Morton that consists of 5 dimensions (strategy, processes, structure, individuals/roles, and technology). From the results of this case study, we found 13 factors and 14 propositions influencing IS integrations performance in M&A in Korean companies. This research helps the company to avoid mistakes and to manage IS integration in M&A. Also this study provides guide line for further researches.

  • 선박을 주로 하는 자율 해상 모빌리티의 안전한 운항을 위해 필수적인 직접통신의 필요성에 대응하여 M-S2X 통신 개발 방안을 제시한다. M-S2X 통신을 선박중심 직접통신, SCDC(Ship Centric Direct Communication)으로 정의하며 선박과 선박 통신 중에서 선박과 선박 통신의 대용량 및 고속화가 필요한 점, 그리고 선박 운항 안전을 위한 통신 수요의 대부분이 선박을 중심으로 그 주변 객체와 상호 통신이 필요한 점을 고려한 것이다. 관련 연구에서 선박과 선박, 선박과 육상 간 통신 소요를 제시하였고 이를 통해 기존 AIS등의 레거시 해상통신만으로는 자율운항선박과 같은 해양 모빌리티의 자율성 확보에 어려움이 있음을 알 수 있다. 이에 따라 M-S2X 통신을 구현하는 기술로 VDE와 비면허대역과 같은 고대역의 통신기술을 활용하여 선박과 같은 해양 모빌리티가 주변의 객체(선박, 해양모빌리티, 인프라, 익수자 등)와 직접 통신할 수 있는 통신 인프라 환경을 제공한다면 향후 도래할 해양 모빌리티 환경의 기본 통신 기술로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Modeling and Analysis for Efficient Joint Combat Fire Operation of Army Artillery and Army Aviation (효율적인 육군항공과 포병자산의 통합화력 운용방안 판단을 위한 모델링 방법론 및 분석)

  • Most combat simulation models, including Korean Army's combat models for simulation analysis, have too much limitations to be used for analysis of complex combats like joint combat fires. We analyze requirements for modeling and simulation of Fire-Eagle, which is a joint combat fire model of ground combat fires and army aviation. We then propose a simulation model for Fire Eagle and derive operational strategies for improving the joint combat fire. To do these, we analyze effectiveness of specific operational plans and scenarios by using the simulation model. We demonstrate ways of developing efficient and effective operational plans from the simulation experimental results.

  • The role of CIMS(Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems) is to integrate various applications throughout a product's life cycle. STEP is an international effort to standardize information models and interfaces so that independently developed applications can be easily integrated. A prototype for the Ship CIMS is built using STEP. In this prototype, the information model defined by EXPRESS is translated into database schemas. In this paper, we explain the operation of this prototype using the examples from two application programs, i.e., the Block Division System and the Erection System which are used for the process planning of ship manufacturing. As an example. Real data stored in a relational database system(Oracle) is presented in this paper.

Effect of Resource Mindfulness on Emotional State, Focusing on Anxiety and Stress Reduction (리소스 마인드풀니스에 관한 효과성 연구)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of Resource Mindfulness on participants' emotional state, focusing on anxiety and stress reduction and to explore the importance of psychological resources in this process. The effectiveness of Resource Mindfulness was investigated through both quantitative and qualitative analyses, examining its influence on subjective distress, mindfulness, core emotions, and identification of personal resources. Methods: This study involved 27 participants, including Korean medicine students, psychological counselors, clinical psychologists, and Korean medicine specialists, who attended a 2-night, 3-day M&L psychological support education program from July 2 to July 4, 2022. Participants were informed of the study's purpose and procedures. They provided written consent. Quantitative measures included Subjective Units of Disturbance Scale (SUDS), Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ), and Core Seven-Emotions Inventory Short Form (CSEI-s). Qualitative analysis was conducted using the "Drawing the Rooms of the Mind" technique. Pre- and post-program assessments were conducted to compare changes in subjective distress, mindfulness, and core emotions. Data were analyzed using paired t-tests and qualitative content analysis methods. Results: Significant reductions in subjective distress and improvements in mindfulness components were observed. Core emotions showed significant decreases in negative emotions. Qualitative analysis revealed increased tranquility, relief, and confidence, with resourceful places often being nature-related. Conclusions: Resource Mindfulness effectively reduced anxiety and stress and enhanced self-awareness and self-efficacy. It is useful for managing various mental health issues. Further research is needed to generalize these findings.

Development of Korea eCall System and Effects Analysis through Integrated Demonstration (한국형 eCall 시스템 개발 및 통합실증을 통한 기대효과 분석)

  • eCall system assists traffic accident victims by connecting emergency rescue institutions with accurate accident information, helping them to identify the on-site situation in the event of a traffic accident. The purpose of this paper is to develop a Korean eCall system that reflects the requirements of domestic emergency rescue institutions and to analyze the expected effects through an integrated demonstration. The results of an integrated demonstration indicated that the communication success rate between the eCall IVS and the call center was 99.25%, and the average location information error was 1.2 m. In particular, it has been confirmed that the average location information error is less than 21.6 meters, as assessed by the Korea Communications Commission when evaluating the accuracy of domestic emergency rescue location information. When the eCall system was introduced, it was confirmed that the time from traffic accidents to hospital arrival could be shortened by 3 m 38 s for highways and 1 m 22 s for general roads. By it to traffic deaths from 2005 to 2022, it was analyzed that the number of fatalities decreased by 82,662, resulting in a reduction of approximately social costs.

  • It is a superordinate concept to a network control system which optimally distributes the battery power to overall length parts through the linkage control drive and absorbs/integrates network diagnostics and overlapped functions with overall length control systems. This study is to develop a system that maximize the battery power and motor effectiveness by controlling motor battery controlling module with common MCU Integration linkage controlling system, and to develop S/W and H/W that can be controlled by linked with each controlling module in CAN method through using Autosar's standardized software.
