A Study on the Influence of Acceptance Factors of ICT Convergence Technology on the Intention of Acceptance in Agriculture : Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Innovation Resistance (ICT융합기술 수용요인이 농업분야의 수용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 혁신저항의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study is a survey of people who are return to farming on the intention of accepting ICT convergence technology in agriculture. The research targets were 218 people based on convenience and judgment sampling methods, and the exploratory factor analysis and multiple return analysis were performed with SPSS 22.0. As a result, the independent variables such as performance expectation, effort expectation, and social influence had a positive effect on the acceptance intention of ICT convergence technology in agriculture. In addition, the moderating effects of innovation resistance on these influence relationships were also verified. The limitations of this study are the lack of verification of perception changes and the inability to control variables. As a result of this research, the results of the UTAUT in other fields were confirmed in this study. It is hoped that this study will further facilitate the research of agriculture in ICT convergence technology.

A Study on the Intention to Use Biometric Authentication When Using Mobile Easy Payment Service: Focusing on the Comparison of Experienced and Non-Experienced Persons (모바일 간편결제 서비스 이용 시 생체인증 사용의도에 관한 연구: 경험자와 비경험자 비교를 중심으로)

  • In the newly encountered economy caused by the Corona virus Disease-19, remote transaction becomes a new normal that disrupt traditional economic order. In the middle of the disruption, mobile tech is placed and remote finance on mobile is highly noticed and considered as an infra-tech to support the new ecology, In mobile finance. remote payment is becoming the most common service and personal identification on it is critical to operate the new service. There are various means of remotely identifying a person. Recently the use of biometric information is increasing. In this study, a correlation analysis was conducted on factors that effects to biometrics usage and the intention to use in remote personal identification. Variables for critical factor in the remote identification were classified into 4 groups such as Performance expectancy, Effort expectancy, Social influence, and Security. The empirical analysis based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) was conducted. The relationship between variables and the intention to use is also analyzed. In the study, stepwise regression analysis was conducted four times in which variables were adjusted in individual stage. As a result, the analysis suggests that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, security have positive effects for intention to use. Additionally, effort expectancy and security have moderating effects to intention to use depends on biometric authentication experience. The analysis has shown positive effect of variables grouped on the intention to use them. It also suggests that the intention to use biometric authentication will quickly grow. This study is expected to make a contribution to utilize and improve the use of biometric information in mobile payment.

A study on the relationship between social capital and organization trust, recommendation intention, and turnover intention (사회적 자본과 조직신뢰, 추천의도 및 이직의도 간의 관계에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to investigate the impact of the social capital on organization trust, and the impact of the organization trust on recommendation intention, and turnover intention. And by this it is also to integrally analyze through what route social capital affects the recommendation intention and turnover intention. An actual analysis through covariance structural equation model was made targeting the members of small and medium sized manufacturing companies. The results of the actual analysis showed that the relational dimension in the social capital had an positive(+) and the most pervasive effect on the organization trust. Relational dimension refers to the formation relationships among members and has a significant value in the interaction in the relation between subordinates and superiors, between colleagues, and between departments. Secondly, the cognitive dimension in the social capital was revealed to have no significant effect on the organization trust and structural dimension was revealed to have a positive(+) effect on the organization trust. Structural dimension refers to the capital value which shows itself in the social network and relationship existing between the members and is formed through building the best network within an organization. Thirdly, organization trust was revealed to have a positive(+) impact on the recommendation intention and to have a negative(-) impact on the turnover intention. Finally, the summary, implications, limitations, and future research direction of this study were presented.

What Motivates Users to Upgrade the Operating Systems? (운영체제 업그레이드 의도에 관한 연구: 마이크로소프트 윈도우 사용자를 중심으로)

  • This study discusses the operating systems upgrade to motivation of windows users. To discuss this issues, research hypotheses were set based on Unified Theory of Acceptance Use of Technology(UTAUT) and Theory of Reasoned Action(TRA). The data were collected from undergraduate students. Total of 199 data were used for the analysis. The results of the analysis were summarized into two ways. first, performance expectancy and effort expectancy has a positive influence on attitude towards upgrade the operating systems. Second, social influence, facilitating conditions, and attitude had a positive influence on intention towards upgrade the operating systems. Thus, when users perceived a high degree of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions towards upgrade the operating systems, they evaluated more positively the upgrade the operating systems.

  • This study investigates the factors affecting behavioral intention of professors and students at universities to use academic libraries in a hybrid library environment where a traditional physical library is combined with a digital library that is centered on online information use. The structural relationships among factors were also analyzed in this study by utilizing a combined behavioural model which was based on TPB and TAM. This study identified users' intention to use academic libraries according to changes in the use environment, and the findings of this study bring a valuable meaning to library administrators for setting up the strategic plan for the future of academic libraries. The results of this study imply that academic libraries should strategically setup an effective and efficient operating plan based on awareness, attention and cooperation, in order to survive as well as to accomplish balanced growth in rapidly changing environment.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the site characteristics and the customer characteristics of Internet shopping malls on perceived risk and purchase intention. In order to fulfill this objective, we employ the survey methodology to gain data and analyze them using a structural equation model. The results of this study show that both the site characteristics and the customer characteristics of Internet shopping malls did not have a direct effect on purchase intention. Instead, perceived risk has effects on purchase intention. This implies that perceived risk is playing an important role in e-commerce.

A Study of Structural Relationship on Intention to Accept Technology of Potential Users in University Library Mobile Self Check-Out Service (대학도서관 이용자의 모바일 자가대출서비스 수용의도에 관한 구조적 관계 연구)

  • This study is to analyze the applicability of new technologies to be applied to the foreseeable future's library. For this purpose, we measured the users' intention to accept the service by using the NFC based self-check out service as a new technology applicable to the library. Based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance Use of Technology (UTAUT), research models were derived, and the structural relationships between performance expectations, effort expectations, facilitation conditions, and perceived risks were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, perceived threats in the library did not affect the intention to use, and the performance expectation, effort expectation, and facilitation condition partially affected the intention to use. The gender of the moderator variable, there were some significant difference in promoting conditions.

  • With the development and spread of smart devices, the proportion of mobile shopping is gradually increasing, and the market for mobile gift certificates is also increasing. This study examines the usage status and acceptance attitude of mobile gift certificates for university students who are major customers of mobile gift certificates. Also, based on the extended integrated technology acceptance model (UTAUT2), the results of the analysis of the mediating effect of the intention of the user on the relationship between acceptance of mobile vouchers and recommendation intention were presented. As a result of the analysis, it was shown that the effort expectation, hedonic motivation, price utility, and habit had significant influence on the intention to use the mobile gift certificates. Also, the intention to use mobile gift certificates has mediating effects between effort expectation, hedonic motivation, price utility and recommendation intention. The results of this study can be applied to strategic marketing such as recruitment of new customers through mobile gift certificates while explaining customers' acceptance of technology to mobile gift vouchers or future prospective customers.

  • The purpose of this study is to define determinants of VoIP user acceptance and to verify significant causality among latent variables - performance expectancy, effort expectancy, cost expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, behavioral intend, use behavior - based on UTAUT model. We presented the expanded hypotheses including the new factor, cost expectancy and analyzed the moderating effect of user age, gender and usage experience variables. For a accuracy of predicted results, we focused on survey analysis with 641 real user samples. Compared to previous studies, it is meaningful that this research verified the conceptual difference between behavioral intention and usage behavior. As a result, all proposed hypotheses accepted and moderating effects are supported significantly in age and use experience moderating variables.

  • In line with the social changes due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, foreign countries are strengthening information education for the future of education. This study analyzed the current status of software (SW) and artificial intelligence (AI) education among different types of information education programs in elementary schools of major foreign countries, and compared them with the education provided in Korea. Compared to major foreign countries, Korea allocated very little time for software education in elementary schools, making it difficult to sufficiently cover all areas of the curriculum achievement standards. In addition, other countries recognized the importance of artificial intelligence, an important technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and were providing artificial intelligence education on the basis of software education at the national level. The Korean government is also planning on providing the education at national level, but it was identified that the information education of elementary schools have many problematic issues. This study emphasized the need to establish an information curriculum for elementary schools as a way to address these issues.
