Review of the Research & Development of "New Retailing" (중국 "신소매(新零售)"에 관한 연구개발 동향 분석)

  • The development of "New Retailing" is still in its infancy. Theoretical research has just begun, showing the characteristics of practice leading theoretical research, that is, there is more practical exploration but relatively insufficient theoretical research. At present, the theoretical research and practice development of "New Retailing" is gradually clear. The future development trend is large-scale, no boundaries, and wisdom. The academic community should further study in depth with theory and practice, focusing on the deep integration of online and offline, the new logistics under "New Retailing", and the research direction of "New Retailing" driving supply chain transformation and reconstruction so as to better guide the development of "New Retailing". The purpose of the research is to sort out the research status and theoretical situation of "new retailing", so as to provide references for further research on "new retail" and guidance for practical development.

A Comparative Analysis of pi in Elementary School Mathematics Textbooks (초등학교 수학 교과서에 제시된 원주율의 지도방안 비교·분석)

  • This study aimed to derive pedagogical implications by comparing and analyzing how the concept of pi is taught in 10 different elementary mathematics textbooks, which are scheduled to be applied from 2023. We developed a textbook analysis framework by previous studies on the concept of pi and the teaching of pi, and analyzed in terms of three instructional elements (i.e. inferring conceptsof pi, understanding properties of pi, and applying relationships). We derived the need to emphasize various contexts for estimation of pi, presentation of problem situations that provide motivation to actually measure diameters and circumferences, providing an opportunity to explore the properties of measurement, and an experience the flexibility of selecting an approximate value of pi. Based on the above conclusions and pedagogical implications through the research results., we suggested ways to teach the concept of pi in elementary mathematics and improvement points for developing textbooks focusing on the context of introduction of pi and the use of technological tools.

Exploring the Possibilities of Character Education in Various Interaction-based Mentor Program: Focusing on "Becoming a Science Teacher" Activity (다양한 상호작용 기반의 멘토멘티 프로그램에서 나타난 인성 교육 가능성 탐색 -"과학 선생님 되어보기" 활동을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the possibility of the character education and the concrete implementation process in the field of science education in accordance with the social demand for character education. Based on this purpose, the researchers tried to understand the specific character elements appearing in various science learning situations and to understand the qualities of each specific character elements that can be emphasized through science learning and the aspect of expression process in related learning situations. The researchers selected 11 students from the 7th and 8th graders in Seoul and developed and applied the 'Become a Science Teacher' mentor program in 2014 and 2015. Data collection was conducted through class recordings, mentor teachers' and assistant teacher's journal, artifacts, student journals, student portfolios, class listeners' essays for science class and analyzed qualitative data collected through constant comparison method. According to the result, we extracted 11 character elements and reorganized them into 16 specific character elements revealed in various learning situations based on the relationship between each character elements. The results of the study are eight specific character elements that can be emphasized through science learning and related learning situations. The eight specific character elements are 'responsibility for teaching behavior due to hierarchy of scientific knowledge structure, communication for forming scientific concept, empathic concern based on science learning experience, cooperation for promoting rationality of inquiry method, positive perception of scientific endeavor, respect for scientists' attitudes toward research, confidence in future scientific research, persistence in trial and error'. Based on the results of this study, we proposed the research methods of character in the field of science education in the future.

A Study on the Characteristics of Urban Public Transportation Information Services Use (도시 대중교통정보 이용 행동 특성 연구)

  • As the amount of information is rapidly growing, and the ubiquitous urban environments are emerging, the question which information type to provide and which communication media to support is a major challenge for commercial and public travel-information service providers. The current research reports the first findings of analyses of recent data, collected in metropolitan Seoul, about the acquisition of travel information and the communication media used. The study is based on the assumption that information acquisition and choice of communication medium is strongly context-driven. The study applies CHAID analysis to find homogeneous segments in information acquisition and use of communication media. Findings indicate that transport mode and activity are important determinant of information acquisition and choice of media. The type of travel information acquired co-varies strongly with transport mode and activity. In addition, we found evidence of time of day effects. Similarly, the choice of communication medium depends on the type of travel information searched for, transport mode and activity. The results suggest important implications of managerial and policy measures, in particular the dynamic, contextual market segmentation.

  • The world's best level of ICT(Information, Communication and Technology) infrastructure has experienced the world's worst level of ICT accident in Korea. The number of major accidents of privacy invasion has been three times larger than the total number of Internet user of Korea. The cause of the severe accident was due to big data environment. As a result, big data environment has become an important policy agenda. This paper has conducted analyzing the accident case of data spill to study policy issues for ICT security from a social science perspective focusing on risk. The results from case analysis are as follows. First, ICT risk can be categorized 'severe, strong, intensive and individual'from the level of both probability and impact. Second, strategy of risk management can be designated 'avoid, transfer, mitigate, accept' by understanding their own culture type of relative group such as 'hierarchy, egalitarianism, fatalism and individualism'. Third, personal data has contained characteristics of big data such like 'volume, velocity, variety' for each risk situation. Therefore, government needs to establish a standing organization responsible for ICT risk policy and management in a new big data era. And the policy for ICT risk management needs to balance in considering 'technology, norms, laws, and market'in big data era.

  • The modern society is rapidly changing, and accordingly, the required teacher image is changing as well. Middle school students are immature, when they undergo major changes both physically and mentally, and teachers have a great influence. How students perceive the teacher determines the relationship between teachers and students. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze what kind of teacher image middle school students want. The purpose of this study is to analyze the image of a science teacher who prefers and avoids each class situation perceived by middle school students. To this end, 502 middle school students were divided into five classes: class type, class material presentation method, subject instruction method, subject content explanation method, and class atmosphere, and the image of science teacher who prefers and avoids is described in an open format. Concepts presented by middle school students were analyzed through semantic network analysis (SNA). The conclusions of this study are as follows: first, in order to make middle school students interested in science, an inquiry-centered experiment class should be conducted. Second, the change of class by science teacher can change it into preferred science class. Third, student-centered classes should be conducted according to the level so that students can understand. Finally, science teachers continue to strive through communication between science teachers and students, and students and students, and look forward to changes in science classes through this.

A Study on Status and Perception of Class Operation by Elementary School Science Specialized Teachers in COVID-19 Situation (COVID-19 상황에서 초등 과학 전담 교사의 수업 운영 실태 및 인식)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how elementary science specialized teachers operate and how they have a perception of the science class in the COVID-19 situation. The number of participants in the study is 21 who are dedicated to science subjects in 2020. 21 teachers were given an open survey of science classes and future directions in the COVID-19 situation, and 8 out of 21 teachers were interviewed in-depth on how and why they did so. As a result of the study, first, the science classes before and after COVID-19 of primary science teachers were different. Under the COVID-19 situation, teachers identified the characteristics of online and offline classes and operated them in a way that was specific to their characteristics. Second, there was a common perception of teachers' classes on the basis of this science class operation style, which is that science classes should be operated as activities, that I would like to have classes that suit my taste as long as the policy allows, and that online classes cause students to lose motivation and widen their educational gap.

  • 공간 능력 및 공간 시각화 능력의 향상은 우리가 살고 있는 세계를 표현하고 설명하는데 도움을 주고 실생활과 직업에 관련된 문제해결 능력을 기를 수 있게 한다. 초등학교에서는 비형식적인 방법으로 일상생활에서 접하는 대상과 다른 구체적 자료를 사용한 조사, 실험, 탐구를 통하여 여러 위치에서 도형을 시각화하고, 그려보고, 비교하는 활동을 강조하고 있다. 제7차 수학과 교육과정에서 공간능력 및 공간 시각화 능력을 향상시키기 위한 학습으로 구체적 조작물과 학습지 사용을 병행하고 있다. 하지만 초등 기하는 공간적인 경험을 현실 상황이나 구체물 조작을 통하여 형성된 공간직관을 수학화하도록 하여야 하나, 실제 현장에서는 학교여건 등의 여러 실정으로 조작 자료들이 제대로 마련되어 있지 않거나 잘 사용하지 않고 있다. 3차원을 경험할 수 있는 공간 시각화 학습프로그램을 적극 활용하여 어떤 방향이든 상관없이 가상의 공간에서 물체를 옮기거나 회전시킬 수 있으며 시간적, 공간적 제약을 받지 않고 학습자들의 공간시각화 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 학습 프로그램 개발이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이런 요구에 의해 아동과의 상호 작용성과 접근성을 향상시킨 웹기반 가상현실 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과 분석을 통해 웹 기반 가상현실 학습 프로그램에 대한 가능성을 진단해 보고자 한다.

A Study on Development of Gifted Educational Materials Using Diabolical Cube (다이어볼릭 큐브(Diabolical Cube)를 활용한 영재교육 자료 개발에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this article is to study characteristics of diabolical cube in geometric point of view, and to present educational materials and direction for efficient diabolical cube activities in gifted education upon systematical analysis of methods of finding solutions. We can apply inclusion-exclusion Method to find all possible combination of solutions in diabolical cube activities not as trial-and-error method but as analytical method. Through teacher's questions and problem posing in activities using diabolical cube, we systematically came up with most solution and case of all possible combinations be solution in classifying properties of pieces and combining selected pieces.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 (1) 1970년대 서양복식에 존재하는 오리엔탈리즘의 반향에 대해 정의하고, (2) 서양 복식을 통해 표출된 오리엔탈리즘의 의미를 당시 정치, 사회, 문화적인 측면과 연결하여 탐구하는데 있다. 이론적 틀로는 문화인류학 이론에서 유래된 Hamilton의 Unifying Metatheory of Clothing and Textile(1987)이 적용되었다. 연구 방법으로는 1970년부터 1979년까지 미국에서 발행된 총 142권의 VOGUE 잡지 중 80권을 분석하여, 오리엔탈리즘이 보여지는 45장의 패션사진을 자료로 추출한 후, 연도, 디자이너의 소속 지역. metatheory에 따라 분석하였다. 각 연도별로 오리엔탈리즘이 표현되는 정도와 방법은 다양하였다. 서양디자이너들은 동양의 전통의상을 거의 그대로 모방하거나 하나 이상의 국가들의 전통의상 디자인 요소들을 하나의 복식에 혼합, 표현하는 방법을 주로 보여주는 반면, 동양 디자이너는 전통의상을 포함한 자국의 다양한 문화적 요소들을 서양복식에 도입하여 표현하였다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 복식에서 보여지는 시각적인 면의 분석과 더불어, 1970년대 당시 미국의 정치. 사회, 문화전반의 상황과 복식에 있어서 오리엔탈리즘의 도입과의 영향관계가 파악되었다. 따라서, 복식을 연구함에 있어서 문화인류학적 이론과 같은 다른 분야의 이론의 적용은 복식을 새로운 측면에서 이해하는 넓은 안목과 통합적인 틀을 제공한다는 측면에서 가치가 있다고 사료된다.
