Burnout and Coping Strategies among Tourism Service Employees (관광서비스 종사원의 소진 현상과 대처 전략)

  • The purpose of this paper is that investigates a model of burnout and coping strategy employees in out-bound travel agency. So, we investigated the relationship between burnout variables(emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, reduces personal accomplishment) and employee's job satisfaction, intentions to resign. And we suggest that coping strategies will control the relationship between burnout and job attitude. We used social support, self esteem, and leisure involvement as a coping method. Data obtained from survey of frontline employees working in the several outbound travel agencies in Seoul, Korea. In the result, it has strong relationships between burnout and job-relative components. Perceived burnout phenomenon has negatively effect on job satisfaction and positively effect on resign intention. Coping variables controled in the relationship between burnout and job satisfaction. In the practical implications, managers can take an action as like a social support to reduce employee's burnout. And employee has activity hobby for reducing the burnout.

Competition among Chinese Broadcastings, CCTV1, Hunan and Gangso Satellite Broadcasting : The Programming Niche Dimension (중국 방송사들의 프로그램 자원의존 전략에 관한 연구 -CCTV1, 후난 위성방송, 강소 위성방송의 편성행위 분석을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the change of programming strategies of chinese broadcasting as competitions intensify in the niche dimension. Specifically, the niche breadth which indicates the diversity of program genre and way of program production, the niche overlap which indicates the degree of competition among the channels, are investigated. The results show, as the competition has intensified, three chinese television pursued different programming strategies; CCTV1 maintained programming strategy without big change, while Hunan and Gangso pursued change of programming strategy. However the change of programming strategies of Hunan and Gangso showed different direction; Hunan has tended narrows niche breadth of program genre and the way of progrm production, while Gangso broadens niche breadth. In overall, Chinese broadcastings have found the way of co-exist pursuing different programming strategy. And the programming strategy of Gangso satellite broadcasting which broadens niche breadth has showed better performance in rating and advertising revenue.

  • Citizens of 21st century which is called to be the era of 'Culture' express their cultural desires in their public environments. Governments found that these needs can be satisfied through the culture-centered public designs which are based on the local resources and identities. This research suggests the strategy programming model to support these projects. It aims at not suggesting the conceptual process model, but developing the practical supporting model with options to choose. Thus the indices which are related to each prototype phases of programming process are analyzed through the case analyses with qualitative approach. This paper focused on analyzing the indices for Place Strategy which includes the phases for Resource, Mission, and Targeting. Altogether, 81 indices are analyzed.

Mediating Effect of Maladaptive Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategies and Negative Affect on the Relationship between Perceived Stress and Smartphone Addiction (지각된 스트레스와 스마트폰 중독의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략과 부적 정서의 매개효과)

  • Current study was conducted to examine the mediating effect of maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies and negative affect on the relationship between perceived stress and smartphone addiction of adults and to explore suggestions for counseling adults with smartphone addiction symptoms. Three hundred adults(146 males, 154 females) were administered perceived stress scale, maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy scale, negative affect scale, and smartphone addiction scale. The main results are summarized as follows: First, perceived stress had positive influence on smartphone addiction. Second, negative affect showed mediating effect on the relationship between perceived stress and smartphone addiction. Third, maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies did not show mediating effect on the relationship between perceived stress and smartphone addiction. Forth, maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies and negative affect showed double mediating effect on the relationship between perceived stress and smartphone addiction. Based on the above results, it was suggested to include stress management and relief of negative affect through modification of maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies in the treatment program for adults at high risk of smartphone addiction.

Power Process: The Interrelationships of Marital Power, Influence Strategies, and Negative Conflict Resolution Styles(Attack vs. Avoidance) (권력의 과정: 부부권력, 영향력전략, 부정적 갈등해결방식(공격 vs. 회피)의 관계)

  • In order to explore the power process, a hypothetical model which explains the interrelationships among 3 marital power(traditional, egalitarian, personal), 3 influence strategies(reward, coercion, emotional), and 2 negative conflict resolution styles(attack vs. avoidance) was developed. In order to examine the gender differences, male model and female model were developed separately and compared. Using the data collected from 182 males and 196 females, the hypothetical model was tested. For data analysis, SEM was used. As a result, 3 common paths were found: Greater use of emotional influence strategy increased attack as well as avoidance. Greater egalitarian power increased reward. Egalitalian power affected the use of coercion, but the direction was opposed: male's egalitarian power decreased coercion, while female's egalitarian power increased it. Except these, the analyses revealed the substantial differences between male and female. Based on the findings, the ways to reduce attack and avoidance, and theoretical implications were discussed.

  • The quality of the content of a website is the key point for a successful website. Users' satisfaction can be raised by providing distinguished, high quality information. This rises the loyalty of the users to the website. S&T information has different characteristics than others. Therefore, we need special set of indexes to evaluate the quality of S&T information. In this paper, we explain the design and analysis of a user survey for examine the users satisfaction on S&T information. We also show the strategy to raise users'satisfaction based on the survey results.

  • 방송통신고등학교는 국가수준 교육과정의 개정 시기를 맞아 방송고 학습자 특성을 반영한 온라인 콘텐츠 설계를 위해서 콘텐츠 질 분석, 수업 구조 분석, 화면 로그인 경로 분석 등을 통해서 시행하고 방송고 온라인 콘텐츠 교수설계 모형을 도출하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서 도출한 온라인 콘텐츠 교수설계 모형은 먼저 크게 수업 설계, 수업 실행, 수업 평가로 구성되어 있다. 수업 설계는 학습자 분석, 교수환경분석, 교수 분석, 교수 전략개발의 단계를 가지고 있다. 수업 실행은 수업에 대한 동기 유발, 선수학습 회상, 수업 목표 제시, 수업 내용 제시 및 학습 안내 제공, 수행 행동 유도 및 피드백 제공, 목표 수행 평가, 파지 및 전이 단계를 가지고 있다. 수업 평가는 최종 수업 평가 및 최종 피드백 제공 단계를 가지고 있다.

  • 디지털 콘텐츠의 급속한 보급과 더불어 휴대용 단말기를 이용한 eBook 관련 콘텐츠의 개발이 점증하고 있는 추세에 유통 다변화를 통한 보급 확대를 위해 스마트 TV를 통한 VOD 방송콘텐츠와 연동하여 전자책을 사용자에게 즉시로 제공할 수 있는 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 TV 방송콘텐츠를 기반으로 한 eBook 콘텐츠의 VOD 서비스를 하이브리드형으로 휴대 스마트 기기에 제공하기 위한 효과적인 시스템의 구성과 DRM 전략을 위한 프레임워크를 제시하고 프로토타입 시스템을 제안한다.

  • 기존의 ICT기술과 콘텐츠 융합을 통해 스마트 콘텐츠는 차세대 디지털 라이프의 필수적인 요소로 인식되면서 보조적인 요소에서 주도적인 요소로서 그리고 새로운 변화의 주요 동인으로 역할을 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 기술의 저변에서 흐르고 있는 스마트화의 관점에서 스마트콘텐츠 요소기술 및 동향과 이를 기반으로 한 차세대 지역 스마트콘텐츠 산업 활성화 방안을 제시한다.
