Fundamental study on the technology and application for the Next Generation Digital Textbook (차세대 디지털교과서를 위한 기반기술 및 적용에 관한 연구)

  • The digital textbook project which embarked by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has focused on experiments and practices from the school designated by the government. However the previous research about digital textbook provides static interaction models and teaching-learning models analogous to web-based learning based desktop PC even the framework of the digital textbook is based of Tablet PC. This paper provides learning and teaching models for next generation digital textbook which based digital inking techinques for sketcth interface and AR(augmented reality) interactions between teacher and learner. The proposed method of this paper is applied to educational contents and we found positive effect which is supported by statistical experiments. The results of this study in the future and the future development of digital textbooks in effect will be an effective development plan.

  • User interface is one of important factors to enhance one's presence in virtual reality systems. Due to the performance improvement of hardware, the virtual reality system is extensively utilized in games, broadcastings, educations, cultural contents, and so on. And, it is enlarged the necessity for researches on mobile interface to control the virtual reality system guaranteeing user's unrestricted movement. In this paper, we present a mobile interface, ZA sensor which is constructed with a Zigbee module and a Accelerometer to control the virtual environment. And, we propose a method of constructing the virtual reality system using the ZA sensor as a input device and practical applications of the system.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop contents and management strategies of Social Welfare Education e-Learning. For this study, Data were collected from students who were attended to Introduction to Social Welfare e-Learning in K center between first semester, 2006 and first semester, 2007 as well as professors and system operator. It is important meaning to performance as the first empirical study which is on the e-Learning of social welfare studies. As a results, it has been proved that systematic preparation process, study contents which is centered field, active interaction among students, study management in time efficiency, technological supports for system improvement are significant factors on construction and development of Social Welfare e-Learning.

  • 최근 스마트기기가 널리 보급되고 소셜네트워크 서비스가 확산되면서, 스마트 기기 및 소셜미디어를 활용함으로서 학습에서 상호작용을 극대화한 교육환경으로 스마트러닝이 크게 부각되고 있다. 그리고 스마트러닝 콘텐츠 및 환경의 확산으로 PC 위주에서 스마트폰 등으로 이러닝 콘텐츠의 사용환경이 확장됨에 따라 콘텐츠 저작의 경제성과 효율성 등을 고려하게 되었으며, 하나의 콘텐츠를 다양한 환경에서 활용 가능하도록 하고 있다. 그러나 기존 PC기반의 콘텐츠를 스마트기기에 적용함에 있어 여러 가지 문제가 발생하는데 이 문제들을 해결하는 방안으로 먼저 콘텐츠에 대한 표준화가 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전자책 표준화를 활용한 효율적인 스마트러닝 기법을 제시하고자 한다.

The Effects of YouTube Usage Motives and Affinity on User Activity (유튜브 이용 동기 및 친밀도가 이용자 활동에 미치는 영향)

  • With the growth of information technology, people consume online video contents via mobile phone without time and location constraints. Drawing upon uses and gratification theory, this study examines the effects of usage motives and affinity on user activities on YouTube. Specifically, user activities are subdivided into pre-viewing and during-viewing activities in this study. Results show that convenient entertainment and social interaction are the significant indicators for pre-viewing activities, whereas five different motives significantly influence during-viewing activities. Furthermore, affinity is the significant determinant of the both activities. The theoretical and practical implications are also discussed.

  • 디지털교과서 시범사업은 미래교육의 시발점으로서 다양한 장점 및 교육적 효과를 제공할 수 있다. 한편 디지털교과서 환경에서는 현실세계와 유사한 태블릿 PC 기반의 펜 스케치를 메타포로 사용하고 있으며, 디지털 잉크 기반의 이러닝은 다양한 교육적 장점을 제공할 수 있다. 그러나 현재 보급되고 있는 디지털교과서 콘텐츠는 펜 기반의 메타포를 고려하지 않은 서책형 교과서의 멀티미디어 버전 형태이며 그 결과 태블릿 PC의 본연의 기능을 충분히 활용하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학습자가 자기주도적으로 전자 펜 기반 스케치 입력방식을 통해 문제를 해결하고 학습의 결과물을 직접 확인할 수 있는 스케치 기반의 인터페이스를 설계 및 적용하여 교수자와 학습자간의 활발한 상호작용을 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 온라인 교육이나 전자 책, 지능형 교육 시스템 등 상호작용이 가능한 교육용 콘텐츠 개발에 확대 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • The tourism industry and AR act as important factors to diversify the tourism industry by combining them with one another. Currently, the advent of mobile smartphones and AR interactive is expected to play a major role in improving tourists' experiences and promoting tourism. AR's high entertainment characteristics, realism and strong interaction can be actively used as a major advantage in promoting tourism. This paper presents some appropriate examples of how AR interactive design is used in tourism marketing through various use cases where AR interactive design is used in tourism. Furthermore, a detailed analysis of the Magical Gulangyu verifies the descriptions listed in the text and presents the direction of future research.

  • The purpose of this study, due to recent increase of digital outdoor media, is to analyze the consumer experience of interaction with digital media. Through this study it was found that experience factor consisting of cognitive, emotional, and interactional factors has a mediating effect on brand preference and brand reliability which in turn influence consumers' purchasing intention. On the other hand, it was verified that the consumer satisfaction of the experience does not directly influence purchasing intention, but only through the mediation of brand reliability. This research has implications on the academic field as well as in work-level practices, as a study based on an actual operating digital media, not a laboratory simulation that verifies the importance of digital media experience in forming brand equity through immediate influence on brand preference and brand reliability.

  • The objectives of this study are to examine the impact of display type and program condition on advertising attitude, and also to analyze the moderating effect of previous intrusiveness perception in such process. The results of empirical analysis are as follows. First, display type had no significant influence on advertising attitude. Second, the interaction effect of display type and program situation on advertising attitude was significant. Third, the interaction effect of display type and previous intrusiveness perception on advertising attitude was not significant. Fourth, the interaction effect of program situation and previous intrusiveness perception on advertising attitude was significant. Fifth, the interaction effect of display type, program situation, and previous intrusiveness perception on advertising attitude was not significant.

Relations between Life Satisfaction and Self-Esteem according to Gender of Employed Adults: Correlation with Demographic Variables and Volunteer Activity (성인 취업자의 성별에 따른 생활만족도와 자아존중감의 관계: 인구사회학적인 변인 및 자원봉사활동 여부 상호작용효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the life satisfaction and self-esteem according to the gender of the adult employees, and to verify the impact of the interaction effects of demographic factors and volunteer activities. The data were used as the 12th data of the Korea Welfare Panel and 2,776 men and 2,175 women for analysis. The analysis method even validated the interaction effects by applying the SPSS program. The major result of this study was that self-esteem of adult employee was related to their life satisfaction. Since the effects of interactions was different according to gender, the research suggests measures to support policies and practice in order to enhance their life satisfaction and self-esteem according to the gender of adult employee.
