Research about Multi-spectral Photographing System (PKNU No.2) Development (다중영상촬영을 위한 PKNU 2호 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The cost of deploying Geological and Environmental information gathering systems, especially when such systems obtain remote sensing and photographic data through the use of commercial satellites and aircraft. Besides the high cost equipment required, adverse weather conditions can further restrict a researcher's ability to collect data anywhere and anytime. To mitigate this problem, we have developed a compact, multi-spectral automatic Aerial photographic system. This system's Multi-spectral camera is capable of the visible (RGB) and infrared (NIR) bands (3032*2008 pixel). It consists of a thermal infrared camera and automatic balance control, and can be managed by a palm-top computer. Other features includes a camera gimbal system, GPS receiver, weather sensor among others. We have evaluated the efficiency of this system in several field tests at the following locations: Kyongsang-bukdo beach, Nakdong river (at each site of mulkeum-namji and koryung-gumi), and Kyungahn River. Its tested ability in aerial photography, weather data, as well as GPS data acquisition demonstrates its flexibility as a tool for environmental data monitoring.

  • Digital Signage and multi-view image system are used as the 4th media to deliver stories and information due to their strong immersion. A content image displayed on large Digital Signage is produced with the use of computer graphics, rather than reality image. That is because the images shot for content making have an extremely limited range of production and their limitation to high resolution, and thereby have difficulty being displayed in a large and wide Digital Signage screen. In case of Screen X and Escape that employ the left and right walls of in the center a movie theater as a screen, images are shot with three cameras for Digital Cinema, and are screened in a cinema with multi-view image system after stitching work is applied. Such realistic images help viewers experience real-life content. This research will be able to display high-resolution images on Digital Signage without quality degradation by using the multi-view image making technique of Screen X and Chroma key technique are showed the high-resolution Digital Signage content making method.

  • 현재 식품의약품안전처에서 공공데이터 포털에 제공하는 정보에 의하면 국내에는 20,000종 이상의 약이 유통되고 있다. 식약처와 여러 제약회사에서 기본적인 약 정보를 제공하고는 있지만 정확한 처방전이나 설명서가 없는 경우에 무분별한 약 복용의 위험성을 안고 있다. 일부 약 검색을 지원하는 사이트가 있으나 세부 사항을 사용자가 일일이 선택하고 입력해야 정확한 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 스마트폰을 이용하여 알약을 촬영하면 해당 약을 인식하고 상세 정보를 알려주는 딥러닝 모델을 설계하였다. CNN 신경망을 사용하여 약의 모양, 색상, 마크, 분할선 등을 기준으로 분류하고 인식된 약의 세부 정보는 공공데이터로부터 받아온다.

  • 본 논문에서는 자동차 블랙박스를 사용하여 촬영된 비디오에서 자동차 사고 발생 여부를 판단하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 우선 객체 추적 과정에서 구한 조감도 좌표를 사용하여 각 차량 사이의 거리에 기반을 두고 교통사고 여부를 판단한다. 그런데 거리만을 사용하여 사고 여부를 판단하는 경우 자동차가 밀집된 주·정차 환경에서는 오검출의 확률이 높아질 수 있다. 이를 위해 각 차량에 대한 움직임 벡터를 계산하고 벡터 간의 정보(사잇각과 크기 등)를 사용하여 차량의 주·정차 여부를 판단한 후 사고 검출 대상에서 배제할 수 있도록 한다. 주·정차 판단 여부를 통해 사고 검출의 정확도를 향상할 수 있는 것을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

  • 최근 360도 형태로 영상을 촬영하고 제공하는 경우가 많아 일반적인 동영상과 달리 360도 형태의 영상저작물에 적절하고 효과적인 방법으로 광고를 삽입하여 노출 시킬 수 있는 방법이 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 실감형 360도 영상저작물 객체 추출을 통한 추천 광고 매칭방법을 제안한다. 360도 영상저작물 내에 광고를 매칭하고 추출된 객체와 연관된 광고를 추출하여 해당 프레임에 자동으로 삽입 노출이 가능하도록 하는 방법으로 이 방법을 이용함으로써 사용자의 현재 시점 영역 내에 광고 영상이 노출되도록 광고의 삽입 위치를 이동시켜 영상이 재생되도록 하거나, 광고 영상이 삽입된 좌표로 사용자의 현재 시점을 이동시켜 영상이 재생되게 할 수 있다.

Surgical Treatment of Pulmonary Actinomycosis Mimicking Pulmonary tuberculosis (폐결핵으로 오인된 폐방선균증의 수술적 치험 1례)

  • Pulmonary actinomycosis is a rare disease entity to undergo thoracic surgery. We experienced a 49-year-old man with pulmonary actinomycosis who was admitted due to recurrent hemoptysis. Prior to admission, he was diagnosed as pulmonary tuberculosis on the basis of his clinical manifestations and chest radiological findings. The plain chest x-ray and chest computed tomography(CT) showed a cavitary lesion in left upper lobe and was given anti-tuberculous medication, but the x-ray revealed no imprcovement. He underwent left upper lobe lobectomy with segmentectomy of lower lobe and the surgical specimen showed no evidence of mycobacterial infection, but revealed sulfur granules which is a typical pathological finding of actinomycosis. He was discharged uneventfully and is scheduled to receive 6 months of antibiotic treatment.

  • In EIT, various image reconstruction algorithms have been used in order to compute the internal resistivity distribution of the unknown object with its electric potential data at the boundary. Mathematically the EIT image reconstruction algorithm is a nonlinear ill-posed inverse problem. In this paper, a SPSA approach is proposed for the solution of the EIT image reconstruction. Results of numerical experiments of EIT solved by the SPSA approach are presented and compared to that obtained by the modified Newton-Raphson(mNR) method.

  • The existing fractal compression method is effective in generating an artificial shape by approximating its partial regions to a domain block by re-dividing the whole image into a domain region and dividing it into several domain blocks, but it is difficult to implement a computer. In this study, it is difficult to approximate a complex block such as a large-sized block and an affine transformation because a large amount of calculation is required in searching for a combination of similar blocks through a transformation, so a large amount of coding time is required.

  • To analyse the absorbed radiation dose of the visual organs (eyes, corneas, lenses) during a head CT scan, a with the purpose of radiation protection was designed. Afterwards, the reduction rate of radiation dose when using an eye-shielding was analyzed. The results showed that the higher the energy, the higher the absorbed dose of the eyes. Excluding the head, the organs with high dose were the eyes, corneas, and lenses, respectively. Furthermore, the dose reduction rate before and after shielding was between 38% and 55% for the eyes, and between 35% and 52% for the corneas. In the case of the lenses, when the front was shielded, the reduction rate was 51%, and when the front and the side were shielded simultaneously, the reduction rate was 67%.

  • In order to measure the retina thickness, the retina photographing system and the multi-channel high speed image data acquisition system is developed. This system requires the optical processing techniques and the high speed image processing techniques. The HeNe laser beam is projected the retina in artificial eye and then we sensed the reflected laser signal using APD array. The laser projection system on retina using optical instruments is implemented. In order to project the plane laser beam on retina, laser photographing system used the polygon mirror for horizontal scanning and the galvano mirror for vertical scanning. We acquired retina images in each channel of APD array, transferred computer using PCI interface the image data after real-time A/D converting.
