  • According to the enforcement of the Cloud Computing Development and User Protection Act, a new paradigm called as Cloud Computing is coming to the fore among public and private domestic enterprises. Therefore, domestic companies should develop SaaS products specialized for the domestic market and try to preempt the IaaS market ahead of global companies. Now we are facing a necessity to combine all the cloud systems in Korean government to operate seamlessly in a harmony. In this paper, we will look at the prospect of future development of related industry through cloud computing concept and G-cloud's cloud management system (G-CMS). G-CMS can be seen as the first system to comprehensively manage heterogeneous Unix virtualization systems. G-CMS can also save costs by managing heterogeneous virtualization systems in data centers.

A Study on the Effect of Smart Factory Introduction on Workplace Innovation (스마트공장 도입이 일터혁신에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, as the introduction of smart factories spreads, interest and research on the positive and negative effects of smart factory introduction are increasing. This study quantitatively analyzed the changes in the workplace innovation index following the introduction of smart factory for 750 companies in the 4 categories of the workplace innovation index. Overall, the workplace innovation index of companies that introduced smart factory was higher than those that did not, and there was a statistically significant difference, especially in the work organization. In addition, as a result of analyzing the effects of smart factory introduction and workplace innovation consulting together, in the case of labor-management relations and work organization, the introduction of a smart factory and consulting were found to match the improvement of the workplace innovation index.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the theories and cases of performance sharing in the franchise industry to present a method for more effective franchise performance-sharing. To that end, this study reviewed the theory on resource dependence and the theory on inequality to describe the performance-sharing between the franchisor and the franchisee and their relationship. It also looked at the cases of a week-in cooler system at 'Beer Market', the allocation of fees for alcoholic beverage sales to franchisees, the scholarship program of 'Onigiri and Ikyudon' and 'Bonsamo' which is a franchisees' committee for Bonjuk to introduce examples of performance-sharing. Through a theoretical review and case review, this study presents five types of methods for performance-sharing. First, 'the sharing of core competence by the franchise company; second, 'the establishment of a royalty culture'; third, 'scientific analysis of markets and establishment of a revenue forecast system'; fourth, 'reinforced financial support from the franchisor'; and lastly, 'the positive application of franchisees' committees'. Such methods are expected to provide a groundwork for mutual benefit and co-prosperity between franchisor and franchisee.

  • The advent of information communication technology or the Fourth Industrial Revolution facilitated the fusion of equipment and management systems, such as Manufacturing Execution System, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Product Lifecycle Management, in the successful implementation of smart factories. The government supports the early adoption of these systems in small and medium companies to enhance their global competitiveness in producing products that can be recognized in a dramatically changing manufacturing environment. This study introduces smart factories to improve company competitiveness and address influences from the government assistance, CEO leadership, external consultancy, and organizational participation. We analyzed 101 results received from the questionnaires circulated to small- and medium-sized manufacturing companies. Given a successful smart factory implementation, company competitiveness is the factor that mostly influences organizational participation, government assistance, external consultancy, and CEO leadership. This study suggests several perspectives to implement a smart factory, which is the most important aspect of company competitiveness.

  • As the local manufacturing industry has entered a phase of stagnation, service and product design based on user experience has been highlighted as an alternative for the innovation. However, SMEs(Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) are still struggling to overcome the current crisis. One of the reasons is that SMEs do not have enough contact points with the validated UX firms and experts. Thus, SMEs has a high barrier to invest in new opportunity area, user experience. In this study, we aim to figure out UX experts' competence to perform the UX method to solve the UX problems based on the KSA framework(Knowledge, Skill, Attitude). Based on the literature review and expert workshop, we grouped the UX method according to the similarity of the competence required to conduct the method. With cluster analysis, 5 different groups of UX method were defined based on the competence, Panoramic Analysis, Meticulous Observation and Analysis, Intuitive Interpretation, Agile Visualization, and Logical Inspection. The results would be applied to compose a portfolio of UX experts and to implement a mechanism that could recommend the professional experts to the company.

  • Because of the need of actual performance of education, this study aims to understand how the factors of educational content and organizational characteristics affect organizational commitment and work performance, which are organizational effects, through learning transfer. As a result, task value, job relevance, and organizational compensation had a significant effect on learning transfer, learning transfer had a significant effect on organizational commitment and work performance, and organizational commitment had a significant effect on work performance. In order to increase the learning transfer of education, when specifying the connection with the actual job and strengthening the compensation system of the members, the learning transfer can be increased and eventually connected to performance. Since limited variables are considered, a more representative sample or professional group should be extracted through future research. In future studies, it will be possible to closely grasp the relationship between learning transfer and organizational effectiveness by setting representative samples and specifying variables.

An Effective Control Method for Improving Integrity of Mobile Phone Forensics (모바일 포렌식의 무결성 보장을 위한 효과적인 통제방법)

  • To prove the integrity of digital evidence on the investigation procedure, the data which is using the MD 5(Message Digest 5) hash-function algorithm has to be discarded, if the integrity was damaged on the investigation. Even though a proof restoration of the deleted area is essential for securing the proof regarding a main phase of a case, it was difficult to secure the decisive evidence because of the damaged evidence data due to the difference between the overall hash value and the first value. From this viewpoint, this paper proposes the novel model for the mobile forensic procedure, named as "E-Finder(Evidence Finder)", to ,solve the existing problem. The E-Finder has 5 main phases and 15 procedures. We compared E-Finder with NIST(National Institute of Standards and Technology) and Tata Elxsi Security Group. This paper thus achieved the development and standardization of the investigation methodology for the mobile forensics.

  • (사)한국물류협회(회장 서병륜)와 건설교통부, 매일경제신문이 공동으로 주최하는 2007년도 한국물류대상 시상식이 지난 달 15일 서울 중구 대한상공회의소에서 개최됐다. 이번 행사에서는 건설교통부 장관과 서병륜 (사)한국물류협회장, 물류산업계 및 학계 인사 등 5백여명이 참석한 가운데 거행됐다. 한국물류대상을 한국물류협회, 건설교통부, 매일경제신문이 공동으로 주최하는 행사로 1993년부터 매년 시행하는 물류부문 정부 포상이다. 효율적이고 체계적인 물류혁신에 노력한 기업과 개인을 발굴하여 포상하고 있으며 매년 그 위상이 격상되어 오고있다. 이번 한국물류대상에는 대통령포창상에 (주)포스코 등 4개 업체, 국무총리표창상에 (주)LG CNS Entrue 컨설팅 등 2개 업체, 건교부장관표창상에 대화물류(주) 등 8개업체, 매일경제신문회장상에 한국후지쯔(주) 등 2개 업체, 한국물류협회장상 코레일로지스(주) 등 3개 업체, 근정포상에 전일수 교수가 수상, 20개 단체 및 개인이 수상의 영예를 안았다. 본 고에서는 제15회 한국물류대상 수상자들의 활약상을 살펴본다.

  • 한국건설생활환경시험연구원(이하 KCL)은 건축자재, 토목 관련 제품, 생활환경, 물류, 의료기기 등에 대한 시험 평가 인증과 교육 컨설팅, 연구개발 등을 효율적으로 수행하고 있으며, 국내 산업의 기술 고도화와 소비자 보호, 국가경쟁력 제고를 위해 설립된 시험인증 기관이다. KCL은 특히 2010년 7월 8일 한국건자재시험연구원과 한국생활환경시험연구원이 통합 출범한 이후 더욱 풍부한 경험과 노하우를 축적하게 되었고 전문인력과 첨단 인프라를 갖추게 되었다. 현재 약 500여 명의 전문요원이 국내외 20개 사업장에서 일하고 있다. KCL은 지식경제부, 국토해양부, 환경부 식약청 등 주요 12개 부처에서 40여 개 기관지정을 받은 전문시험연구기관이며, TUV, MTS, Eurofins 등 해외 유수의 기관들과 MOU를 체결하여 해외로의 진출에도 적극 앞장서고 있다.
