Analysis of Convergent Influence of Self Esteem, Depression, Hopelessness, Locus of Control and Type A Behavior Pattern on Job Seeking Stress among Some College Women (일부 여대생의 자아존중감, 우울, 무망감, 통제위치 및 A형 행동유형이 취업스트레스에 미치는 융복합적 영향 분석)

  • This study investigates convergent influence on job seeking stress and its association with self esteem, hopelessness, depression, locus of control and type A behavior pattern among some college women. The survey was administered to 531 college women in Jeonbuk area from March 28th to April 29th, 2016. The structured self-administered questionaries were used. The results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis show the following. The job seeking stress of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group in which self esteem is lower and groups in which hopelessness, depression, external locus of control and type A behavior pattern are higher. Their explanatory power was 43.2%. With the analysis of covariance structure, we could confirm relationship among the four factors such as self esteem, hopelessness, depression, locus of control, type A behavior pattern and job seeking stress. The results of the study indicate that the efforts, to increase self esteem, and to decrease hopelessness, depression, locus of control and type A behavior pattern, are required to reduce the job seeking stress of the college women. The results are expected to be useful for the development of program and policy to decrease the job seeking stress of the college women. In the following study, the analysis about additional factors of influence on job seeking stress will be needed.

The Factors Influence upon Employment Volition in Alcohol Use Disorder (알코올사용장애 환자의 취업의지에 미치는 영향요인)

  • This descriptive research study investigated the relationships between different degrees of family support, ego-resilience and employment volition of patients suffering from alcohol use disorder, and we identified the factors that had an influence on employment volition. This study used the survey research technique and structured questionnaires. The data was collected from 128 males (aged 20 years or older) and who had been diagnosed with alcohol use disorder. They had also undergone either inpatient hospital care or outpatient treatment. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that family support had a value of 4.30, an ego resilience had a value of 2.37 and the employment volition had a value of 4.06. The results of the multiple regression analysis showed that there was statistically significant positive correlation between employment volition and ego resilience (${\beta}=-.314$, p<.01) and age (${\beta}=-.253$, p<.01), and the total explanatory power of these 2 factors was 16.3%. According to the results of this study, age-based approaches are needed to improve the employment volition of patients with alcohol use disorder. Additionally, the results of this study suggest that an ego resilience enhancement program be developed and implemented to help these patients.

Influencing Factors the Knowledge and Fear of COVID-19 on Job-Seeking Anxiety of Nursing Students (코로나바이러스 감염증-19에 대한 지식과 두려움이 간호대학생의 취업불안에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was attempted to determine how knowledge and fear of COVID-19 affects job-seeking anxiety of nursing students in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The subjects of this study were 157 students from the 1st to 4th graders attending nursing universities. Data collection was collected from December 9, 2021, to February 21, 2022. Data were analyzed with the SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. As a result of this study, the job-seeking anxiety of the subjects was significantly correlated with the fear of COVID-19(r=.386, p<.001). And, influencing factors the job-seeking anxiety of nursing students identified in the order of fear of COVID-19, satisfaction with college. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a program that can reduce the fear of COVID-19 in order to lower the job-seeking anxiety of nursing students.

A Structural Equation Model of Career Decision Self-Efficacy, Department Satisfaction, and Job Preparing Stress of College Students (대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감, 학과만족도와 취업스트레스 간의 구조모형)

  • This study was attempted to establish a model to investigate the relationship between career decision self-efficacy, department satisfaction, and job preparing stress of college students and to investigate the relationship between these factors. The subjects of this study were 355 college students aged 18 years or older in G-do, and the collected data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 24.0/AMOS 24.0 program. The fit index of the structural regression model met the acceptance criteria (χ2/df=2.89, SRMR=.04, RMSEA=.07, CFI=.96, TLI=.95). As a result of the study, first, it was found that career decision self-efficacy and department satisfaction directly affect job stress. Second, career decision self-efficacy was found to directly affect department satisfaction. Third, career decision self-efficacy was found to have an indirect effect on job stress through department satisfaction. Of the two variables influencing job stress, department satisfaction was found to have a greater relative influence on job preparing stress. Based on these research results, it is necessary to develop a strategy to increase career decision self-efficacy and department satisfaction, which has been found to affect job stress in order to reduce job preparing stress of college students.

  • In this paper, the operation of the Korean digital key talent training project (K-Digital Training) supported by the Ministry of Labor in 2022 began in 2021, and through public offering in the second half of 2022, 403 training courses are held to secure 33,000 annual training personnel. Accordingly, because of performance analysis on learning satisfaction in each field of the state-led talent development program to respond quickly to future industrial changes by fostering digital talent, the overall satisfaction with the program was very high at 4.27 on average. However, the initial expectation for employment linkage is decreasing from 4.2 to 3.91 at the end of learning. Therefore, it is expected that the satisfaction level of the program can be continuously improved only when the organizations participating in the program are prepared in advance for employment linkage

  • 현장실습은 이론 위주의 대학교육과 실무 역량을 중요시하는 산업체 수요를 매칭시켜 취업률을 제고할 수 있는 중요한 수단으로 최근 청년 일자리 창출 및 취업 역량 제고를 위해 현장실습이 중요하게 인식되면서, 정부의 현장실습 관련 재정지원 프로그램들이 다양하게 추진중이다. 하지만, 정부지원의 현장실습 사업들은 서로 다른 운영기준을 제시하여 참여학생 뿐만 아니라, 산업체와 대학에서도 혼란이 가중되고 있으며, 사업 추진 상의 각종 문제들이 발생하고 있다. 특히 이러한 다양한 프로그램이 유기적 연계가 미흡하여 그 고유의 목적을 달성하는 데에 어려움이 예상된다. 이에, 국내의 현장실습 프로그램을 조사하고 산업체, 대학, 학생의 애로사항 뿐만 아니라, 제도적 문제점을 파악한다. 또한 이러한 문제점을 분류하고 통합하여 개선해야 할 사항에 대해 문제제기를 통해 국내 현장실습 프로그램의 고도화를 위한 유기적인 선순환 프로그램 모형을 제시하고 이의 실현을 위한 산학관 주체의 정책 및 시사점을 제언한다.

A Study on the Development of Performance Indicator for the Operation Organization in Youth Employment Academy (청년 취업아카데미사업의 운영기관에 대한 성과지표 개발에 관한 연구)

  • One of the most important object in youth employment academy is to resolve the job mismatch of youth unemployment through industry oriented human resource development for which company oriented capacity building program for graduate-to-be and graduate is supported. The major characteristic of this program is to compose a network of operation organization, involved company, involved university and trainee, among those the role of operation organization is most important. The operation organization in youth employment academy is supposed to be evaluated by the last employment rate after 6 months to the day following the programs of the year completion. So performance indicator for the operation organization is needed in selecting the operation organization of the next year youth employment academy, which means a kind of mid-term evaluation. In this research, the concept of development of performance indicator for the operation organization in youth employment academy is introduced and major performance indicator are suggested.

Effect of Employed Mother's Work-mother Role Conflict on Parenting Stress: Mediation Effect of Parental Satisfaction (취업모의 일-어머니 역할 갈등이 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향: 부모역할만족도의 매개효과)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the mediating role of parental satisfaction on the relationship between work-mother role conflict and parenting stress of employed mothers. Participants were 515 mothers of children aged 2 to 5 recruited from companies in Gyeonggi Province, Korea. Survey was conducted from February 15 to March 20, 2013. Structural equation modeling was used to examine direct and indirect effects among study variables. As a result, work-mother role conflict and parental satisfaction directly influenced parenting stress. Work-mother role conflict directly influenced parental satisfaction. The indirect effect of work-mother role conflict, with parental satisfaction as a mediator was verified on parenting stress. Therefore, to relieve the parenting stress of employed mothers, diverse programs to improve parental satisfaction need to be utilized along with decreasing work-mother role conflict through the settlement of child care policy.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the life satisfaction and self-esteem according to the gender of the adult employees, and to verify the impact of the interaction effects of demographic factors and volunteer activities. The data were used as the 12th data of the Korea Welfare Panel and 2,776 men and 2,175 women for analysis. The analysis method even validated the interaction effects by applying the SPSS program. The major result of this study was that self-esteem of adult employee was related to their life satisfaction. Since the effects of interactions was different according to gender, the research suggests measures to support policies and practice in order to enhance their life satisfaction and self-esteem according to the gender of adult employee.
