Using the 1st to 13th rounds of occupational history data of the Korea Employment Information Service's Youth Panel (YP2007), this study explores the trends and characteristics of the youth labor market in Seoul. We further empirically investigated the job duration and wage determinants of youth employed in Seoul. The results confirm that workers who have a higher income and a higher consistency with their majors are less likely to leave. In addition, we find that workers in full-time, householders, or labor unions have a higher income if they are men and work in large companies. In particular, compared to the reference group (appropriate academic background, appropriate skill), mismatches in the lack of education and skill showed a wage increase effect of 4.9% and 5.5%, respectively. For the major consistency, the wage of the matched major group is 3.8% higher than the non-matched major group.

In this study, the housing-related characteristics of the youth are reviewed using data from the 4^th - 14^th Youth Panel Survey(YP2007) of the Korea Employment Information Service in the period 2010 - 2020. The factors that affect the characteristics of their dwelling are analysed. As a result, males, highly educated, and employed people are more likely to live in their own homes and apartments, but many of them seem to be living with their parents. On the contrary, economically independent young people tend to occupy their dwellings in the form of jeonsei/monthly rent and live in multi-family units, villas, and officetel. To support the youth in overcoming their key issues such as housing affordability, jobs, and marriage, so that they can play their roles, the cost of homeownership and rent should be tailored to their economic situations.

This study empirically analyzed how technological innovation performance of venture business is affected by utilization of external resources, especially utilization of external cooperative network, government's policy funds and venture capital funds, using '2008 Venture Business Investigation'. This study further analyzed how the effect of utilization of external resources on technological innovation performance varies according to growth stage. Analysis results show that all variables related to utilization of external resources, i.e. external cooperative network, government's policy funds and venture capital funds, were observed as affecting positively to technological innovation performance. However, adjustment effect was not observed as statistically meaningful according to growth stage of venture business. Further analysis just observed that the effect on technological innovation performance at each growth stage varies according to type of utilization of external resources.

This study was carried out to examine the converging factors related to academic burnout in students from health-related majors who are involved in studying for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC). Research subjects included 291 randomly selected students from the J-region, who were enrolled in TOEIC classes. Data collection took place from April 3, 2017 to April 14, 2017, using anonymous self-administered questionnaires. The results of a multiple regression analysis in female students showed higher academic burnout pertaining to studying for the TOEIC when sleeping hours, self-worth, self-efficacy, school adaptation resilience, and study immersion were low, and job-seeking stress and test anxiety were high. The explanatory power of this model was 65%. Based on these results, to reduce academic burnout pertaining to studying for the TOEIC in health majors, it is first necessary to increase sleeping hours, self-worth, self-efficacy, school adaptation resilience, and study immersion, and to make efforts to manage self-competence, job-seeking stress, and test anxiety. The results of this study may be used to decrease the academic burnout caused by studying for the TOEIC in health major students and to increase their aptitude for studying English, to cultivate globalized capabilities. Future studies need to conduct an effect analysis on the control and mediation effect that these factors have on academic burnout.

In this study, the objective of the study was to verify how college students' entourage and transformational leadership can affect employment and entrepreneurship perception. In addition, with the coronavirus infection, which has a widespread global impact over the past few months, we want to see how the social issue of pandemic affects the personal characteristics of college students and their perceptions of employment and entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to develop New-IT internship and to search for the way to reduce quality mismatch and unemployment ratio and to ultimately enhance its effectiveness of university-industry collaboration(UIC) in the field of information technology in Korea. To achieve the goal of this study, we tried to come up with more job creation than educational UIC. The survey(based on CIPP model) based on the reaction of companies and interns participating in IT internship program promoted by MKE(Ministry of Knowledge and Economy) shows that intern experience helped them to get jobs and longer intern period gave them to find job more easily. This program is designed to focus on intern matching between students' major and their intern jobs, and requires new employees' level of job quality. They(56%) preferred to hire local college students majoring in special technology area related to regional innovation industry cluster. It also found that intern companies(87%) wanted to participate in this program again and hired intern students(61%) as showing the possible connection of internship and employment. IT Internship program affected students(68.3%) good images about small and medium enterprises(SME) after finishing internship.

The purpose of this study was to explore the direction of school system reorganization in order to strengthen the educational competitiveness of Meister high school. Specifically, the first one was to review prior research related to the school system reorganization of vocational education at the secondary level, and to propose school system reorganization plans of Meister high school. And second one was to analyze the perceptions of related parties about this reorganization plans and to derive important implications. The results of this study were as follows. First, based on the results of the analysis of precedent research, school system reorganization plans of Meister high school was composed of (1) introduction of credit system, (2) introduction of 3-semester system, and (3) expansion of school year. Second, as a result of the questionnaire survey conducted by 138 Meister high school teachers and 185 Meister high school graduates, both group seemed to agree on the necessity of school system reorganization of Meister high school. In addition, the necessity of introducing the proposed reorganization plans was more than a certain level, but the applicability was recognized as somewhat lower than the necessity of introduction. Third, the results of the FGI analysis on industrial personnel showed a positive response, especially regarding the operation of advanced course due to the expansion of school year. Based on this results, it was proposed to design a more systematic reorganization model and provide policy support, to examine the whole scale expansion through pilot application, and to collect opinions more systematically from industrial field experts on school system reorganization plans.

Currently, almost all product development in the jewelry industry utilizes 3D CAD and 3D printing. In this situation, 3D CAD modeling and 3D printing ability units in colleges, Tomorrow Learning Card Education, and Course Evaluation-type jewelry design related education are conducted with developed curriculum based on the standards for training standards, training hours, training equipment, and practice materials presented by NCS. Accordingly, this study analyzes 3D CAD modeling and 3D printing training facilities, training hours, training equipment, etc into three categories of NCS precious metal processing and jewelry design, and studies the development of educational systems such as 3D CAD/3D printing curriculum and various environments that meet these standards. Education using this 3D CAD/3D printing education system will enable us to continuously supply professional talent with practical skills not only in the jewelry industry but also in the entire 3D CAD/3D printing manufacturing industry, which is called as one of the pillars of the 4th Industry. The quality of employment of trainees receiving education and the long-term retention rate after employed can also have a positive effect. In addition, excellent educational performance will help improve the recruitment rate of new students in jewelry jobs or manufacturing-related departments, which are difficult to recruit new students in recent years.

Customer engagement refers to the physical and emotional connection between customers and brands. If the customer's degree of engagement is high, they purchase more, promote more, and show more loyalty. This study suggests the following implications, starting from the assumption that engagement with various service activities in universities can increase loyalty to departments and Universities. In university services, customer engagement plays a important role in strengthening college loyalty after college students are satisfied with university. Although it has an effect on university satisfaction, it can play a big role in increasing the loyalty of marketing goals at a higher level after satisfaction. Among the central factors of university service engagement, it was found that students could increase their department and university loyalty through capacity building and job-related activities for future employment, and among the surrounding factors, friendship activities were a very important factor in department or school loyalty. It can be said that it is of paramount importance to establish a system that can strengthen loyalty through various programs that can build friendships with students. Further research did not verify the moderating effect of service engagement among student groups, but the high-credit group was found to have a very high degree of engagement not only in the central cues but also in the peripheral cues, which is thought to reverse the common sense that high-credit students will be relatively less immersed in the peripheral elements.

A highly sophisticated expertise and systematic and integrated management of security operation are essential for a crowded stadium. a special object of security guarding. Nonetheless, the recent incident in a singing concert hall reveals the overall problem like the lacking safety management system. lacking deployment of professional security personnel, absence of safety manuals and safety measures, as well as the lack of professionalism of private sector security companies. In this study, we presented three categories that needed improvement, like the legal and institutional improvement, improvement of policy and improvement of operation which are required to set up the model to operate the optimal private sector security duties. For the revision of law and institution for a better and more desirable method, we discussed the revision of related laws and regulations pursuant to the security operation at places where events are held, including the revision of law on security guarding work, regulation on common housing management, uniformity of security guarding, and law on performance. For the improvement of policies, we discussed the introduction of security consultants, strengthening the security instructor system, expansion of relevant organizations, establishment of mutual cooperation, privatization of profitable events, improvement of awareness about the security activities provided by private sector, policy for the professionalism of private security operation, expansion of security exhibition and seminar. For the improvement of operation. we discussed professional security techniques. such as the technique of security consulting, the application of CPTED technique, the technique for the integration of system, the method of operation, the establishment of a system to support public security operations and volunteers, establishment of a manual for security guarding performance, modernization and high tech-oriented equipment, organization of security guarding entity in which the industry, academic society and government participates together.
