Number of Job Offers and Satisfaction (첫 일자리 제안과 직업만족도에 관한 연구)

  • This study empirically investigates the possible negative relationship between the number of job offers and the job satisfaction in the Korean labor market, using the Korea Labor Income Panel Study, where the number of job offers of young workers are collected in the third wave. Results show that the number of job offers is negatively related to every year job satisfaction, this effect is smaller for higher earning and older individuals, and there is a gender heterogeneity. We discuss that having more job offers does not necessarily increase the workers' utility, which is a general monotonic assumption in the traditional economics. We suggest that having a large number of job offers allowing them to choose the best option can be inefficient itself, and therefore it is better to focus on qualitative matching rather than increasing just the absolute number of job opportunities.

Study on Students' Consciousness Regarding Their Plans after Graduation (경호학 전공 만족도와 진로의식 조사)

  • This study aims to grasp the general conditions regarding university students in security related majors in Korea. Followings will be covered here: what motivated them to choose those majors, hw much are they git jobs through the education, what is their conscioucness on their majors, jobs, and courses like, and what effects their job preference. And ths study also aims at helping the student with their future plans such as admission to a school of higher grade and choosing their job. For this study, we distributed 340 copies to the students in security related majors at 4 four-year colleges and 1 two-year college, and collected 298 copies by means of quota sampling method. For collected questionnaires, we used individual T-test verification and one-way ANOVA analysis to grasp the situation. Significance stabdard for the test results was set as p<0.05. Followings are the test results. The results on analysis of satisfaction rate on their curriculums, classes, and majors show that students in security-related majors showed different satisfaction rate and different averages according to their sex and the year of the college. In the analysis on the relationship between major education and employment of students in security-related majors, the result of curriculum improvement and scholaril attainments analysis showed statistically significant relation. When students in security-related majors were surveyed on their consciousness of their future plans such as getting jibs, two-year college students had more certificates of qualification for employment than four-year college students.

  • 본 연구는 시간자원의 중요성이 증가하는 현대사회에서 주부가 지각하는 시간압박 감이 점차 높아질것으로 예상되는 가운데 시간압박감이 소비자행동에 어떻게 작용하고 그로 인한 문제점은 무엇인지 밝혀보려는 의도에서 수행되었다. 서울시에 거주하는 주부 546명을 대상으로 시간압박지각정도를 측정하고 이를 바탕으로 소비자집단을 분류된 소비자 집단 사이에 인구.사회 경제적특성과 시간 절약형 내구제의 구매의사결정 과정의 차이가 있는지 분석하였다. 그 결과 시간 압박지각 정도에 따라 고.중.저의 세집단으로 구분되었는데 중간집단에 가장 많은 응답자가 포함되었고 높게 지각하는 집단에 가장 적은 응답자가 포함되었다. 그러나 기존의 연구와는 달리 취업주부의 18.7%가 시간압박을 낮게 지각하는 집단에, 그리고 전업주부의 6.8%가 시간압박을 높게 지각하는 집단에 분류되어 취업주부가 시간압박을 높게 지각하는 전형적인 소비자집단이 아닐수 있음을 발견하였다. 집단별 인구.사회경제적 특성과 시간절약형내구재의 구매의사결정과정의 차이도 부분적으로 밝혀졌으나, 예상과 달리 시간압박감을 높게 지각하는 집단의 시간절약형내구재의 소유와 사용이 오히려 낮게 나타났다.

A Study on students' consciousness regarding their plans after graduation Education of Guard and Security Major (경호관련학과 대학생의 진로의식에 관한 연구)

Followings will be covered here: what motivated them to choose those majors, how much are they satisfied with major curriculum course after matriculation, whether they got jobs through the education, what is their consciousness on their majors, jobs, and courses like, and what effects their job preference. And this study also aims at helping the students with their future plans such as admission to a school of higher grade and choosing their job. For this study, we distributed 340 cpoies to the students in security related majors at 4 four-year colleges and 1 two-year college, and collected 298 copies by means of quota sampling method. For collected questionnaires, we used individual T-test verification and one-way ANOVA analysis to grasp the situation. Significance standard for the test results was set as p<0.05. Following are the test results. First, the analysis on students' satisfaction rate resulted in male students' average of 2.42, compared to female students' average of 2.10, which shows female students have higher satisfaction rate in choosing their majors than male students. Secondly, The results on analysis of satisfaction rate on their curriculums, classes, and majors show that students in security-related majors showed different satisfaction rate and different averages according to their sex and the year of the college. The study indicates that males have higher satisfaction rate on curriculum than females, with male students' average of 2.63 and female students' average 2.88. According to the year of the college, there was a significant difference statistically, Statistics show that students at two-year college have higher satisfaction rate than those at four-year college, with two-year college students' average of 2.48 and four-year college students' of 2.74. students have the average of 3.56. The higher year they were in, the more improvement the curriculum required. When it comes to convenience offer for employment, male students expected more from school than female students, with males' average of 2.74 and females' average of 4.07. Male students marked higher than female students in the extent of job information offer, with males' average of 2.96 and females' average of 2.59. Fourthly, when students in security-related majors were surveyed on their consciousness of their future plans such as getting jibs, two-year college students had more certificates of qualification for employment than four-year college students. What they do preponderantly in preparation for employment was studying foreign languages, which took up 40.4%. And when they were asked on their confidence for employment, positive answers were far more than negative ones with the percentage of 39.6%, while negative took up just 14.0%. Fifthly, when it come to the students in security-related students' job preferences, 49.2% preferred safe job conditions in public security area and 34% preferred private guard or private security organizations. And in the public security area, the highest percentage of 28.6 preferred to work in presidential security service. In the area of private security, 21.2% showed interests in private guard and private security organizations.

A Dynamic Analysis of the Women's Labor Market Transition: With a Focus on the Relationship between Productive and Reproductive Labor (여성의 생산노동과 재생산노동의 상호연관성이 취업에 미치는 영향에 관한 경험적 연구)

  • Wornen's lahor market participation as well as the policy concern for wider utilization of married women, have continuously grown up. However, research efforts on the determinants of women's labor market participation, in the context of the relationship hetween life courses and active entry into lahor market, has been far behind the growing interest in this field. This study has conducted an event histoiry analysis of women's labor market transition utilizing personal occupational history data collected by the Korea Institute for Women's Development in 1991. The analysis is divided into tow parts: First part introduces logit regression to analyze the determinants of women's labor market participation and exit. The second part employs Cox regression to see the variation of transition rate between employment and non-employment. The result shows that there is a wide variation in women's labor market participation according to age, cohort, and family formation. Special note is needed for the significantly negative effect of marriage and child birth on labor market participation. The transition pattern of lower class women with less education fits well to the prediction of neo-classical economics; but the tendency of highly educated women's regression to non-employment reveals the strong influence of the unfavorable labor market structure, which can be better explained by the neo-structuralist perspective. There is a strong trade-off between productive and reproductive labor of women, which can only be corrected by strong policy implementation, such as extended child care facilities, abolition of discriminatory employment practices, and expansion of flexible part-time employment.

Comparative Review on the Introduction and Operation of Salary Peak System -Focusing on Korea and Japan- (임금피크제 도입운영에 관한 비교법적 검토 -한국과 일본을 중심으로-)

  • In this study, it has an intention of arranging an implication based on an effective introduction of a wage peak system in Japan to settle a mandatory retirement at sixty according to a legalization of retirement age at sixty smoothly. Institutionally, retirement age guaranteed type that reduces wage from certain period before retirement is of great importance. In Japan, mainly features the extension of retirement age that focus on keeping aged employment after retirement. In the introduction of the wage peak system, Korea attaches importance to the wage cost savings, but Japan puts emphasis on using aging workforce. Korea wants to promote the aged employment for retirement age at 60, whereas Japan actively push ahead with retirement age 65 and after that time. South Korea needs to reinforce the pensionable age and the connection though the extension of retirement age via the manpower utilization, employment promotion and the stability. It is necessary to prepare a institutional plan to try not to make a gap of the pensions by guaranteeing or extending the retirement age connect to the age of pensioners though the wage peak system. To activate the wage peak system, it is necessary to acknowledge a legal improvement that concedes rational changes such as the rule of employment. An active interpretation is needed currently though, it is more necessary to review the stipulation and the rational changes of the rule of employment that is established by a precedent like the Japanese legislation case. When a disadvantageous change of works rules is made, it is able to consider establishing the provision in the Act on age Discrimination Prohibition in Employment and Aged Employment Promotion, therefore it won't be able to apply the regulation in the rational criterion that satisfies the standards, rather than amending a Article 94 of the Labor Standards Act that makes accepting the approval of the majority of workers.

Comparison of Satisfaction on Each Major Dept. of Health-Related Universities Located in Busan and Gyeongnam (부산, 경남 지역 보건계열 대학(교)의 전공학과별 전공만족도 비교)

  • This study is to investigate the satisfaction rate and relative factors from the students majored in Radiology, Clinical Pathology and Physical Therapy, which can provide basic knowledge of satisfaction and guide the university life and further careers. The survey was performed with respect to 107 students of Radiology, 97 of Clinical Pathology and 89 of Physical Therapy at three-year or four-year colleges(universities) located in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do. The results show that the satisfaction rate through whole majors was $3.40{\pm}0.57$ point. The scores of each major are: $3.38{\pm}0.62$ for Radiology, $3.37{\pm}0.56$ for Clinical Pathology, and $3.45{\pm}0.50$ for Physical Therapy. The score of social status was highest and the environment of major was the lowest. The satisfaction of three-year colleges was higher than that of four-year universities. Academic system, social status and adaptation to major affected satisfaction on major. In addition job outlook affected on all majors. Thus, we propose that every major must be equipped with specialized environment different from general colleges (universities), and provide environment where students can cause self-motivation. In addition, we found the special way to improve social status and satisfaction by using career guidance, offering career information and performing university-industry collaborations. Especially, it is important to improve the satisfaction on major of students at four-year universities.

  • A digital signage is constructed using a speech recognition based API, and VRSM (Voice Recognition Smart Mirror) that obtains information such as weather, map, exercise information, schedule, and image by user's voice command so as to be different from other commercialized products is proposed. This course provides an effective method of engineering education through the process of being evaluated as the result of independent graduation certification system, and also it had been the opportunity to design and produce works for 3 semesters by 2 students one group in the majors. Through the comprehensive capstone design, it has experienced engineering approach and creative thinking opportunity. We have won the best academic prize by participating in the academic conferences of the institute about the interim result, and obtained the results of the prize contest in other academic conferences. The improvement in practical skills obtained through this process proved to be beneficial for self-confidence and job-seeking opportunities through actual employment.

A Study on the Reasons for Participation in the Training of the Work-Learning Parallel Program (중소기업 일·학습병행제의 훈련 참여 이유에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, parallel work-learning training, which was started in 2013 as a pre-employment promotion policy, is an important factor that determines the success or failure of training. As a time when various institutional supplementation is needed to encourage company participation, this study is to identify the factors of participation of companies participating in work-learning parallel. To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted of companies participating in parallel work-learning in Chungnam, and the results were analyzed using the structural equation model. As a result of the study, the reason for the company's participation in parallel work-learning was firstly, 84% of government subsidy received education and training expenses. Second, 66% of workers were able to pay less than regular workers, and thirdly, it was easy to hire new employees in the field. 26%, 17% of them were invited by acquaintances for no particular reason. Therefore, the study suggests that participation in the work-learning parallel training contributes to the management costs, management of employee turnover, and human resource development. In future research, it is necessary to subdivide tests and estimates by conducting studies on regions, occupations, gender, wages, and years of service in Korea.

Perception of City Attractiveness and Internal Migration in Korea (도시매력도와 인구이동)

  • 이 연구는 우리나라에 있어서의 도시로의 인구이동과 도시매력도와의 관계를 <인지-행태>론적인 관점에서 설명하려데 그 목적이 있다. Julian Wolpert (1965)의 "장소효용접근방법"으로 체계화된 이 이론의 요지는 사람들이 이주대상지를 결정함에 있어서 그 대상지의 객과적인 매력도 보다는 자신들이 갖고 있는 정보를 토대로 주관적으로 판단한 이른바 "인지된 매력도"에 좌우된다는 점이다. 이 연구에서는 우리나라의 자료를 토대로 Wolpert의 가설을 검증하여 보았다. 인구이동의 관점에서 본 도시매력도의 구성요소를 (1) 소득수준, (2) 취업기회, (3) 교육기회, (4) 주거사정, (5) 도시시설의 질, (6) 이주시 도움을 받을 수 있는 친지의 유무, (7) 사회적 성장기회 등 7개 항목으로 분류하여 우리나라의 도시들을 객관적인 매력도와 주관적인 매력도로 계량화하였다. 객관적인 매력도는 기존의 통계자료를 지표화하여 측정하였고, 주관적인 매력도는 충청북도 주민들을 대상으로 1983년 현재 인구 10만 이상의 36개 도시에 대한 매력도 순위 설문조사를 통해 계량화하였다. 이들 매력도를 독립변수로 하고 충북으로부터 각 도시로 전출된 인구를 종속변수로 하여 통계적 분석을 한 결과 객관적인 매력도는 인구이동 현상을 55-58% 설명하였으나, 주관적인 매력도는 약 95%정도 설명하는 것으로 나타나 인구이동 의사결정이 주민들에게 인지된 주관적 매력도에 크게 의존하고 있음이 판명되었다. 따라서 학교교육이나 대중매체를 이용한 장기적인 <인포메이션 프로그램>을 개발하여 농촌생활이나 중소도시에서의 생활의 장점을 널리 계몽하여 도시의 주관적 매력도와 객관적 매력도간의 간격을 좁혀주는 정책도 매우 유용한 대도시 인구분석정책대안의 하나가 될수 있을 것이다.정책대안의 하나가 될수 있을 것이다.다. 고로 본고에서는 주사제의 처방설계및 제조(방법, 공정)에 관하여 개괄적으로 논하고자 한다.약화되어 저적면적빈도분포가 정상분포 단계에 도달되기 전에 바로 platykurtic분포로 되는 것이 아니고 leptokurtic 분포적 단계를 거친다고 본다때 시간의 경과를 따라 생성되어지는 Cyclodextrin의 함량의 변화를 추적하여 4시간전후에서 최고량이 되는 것을 볼 수 있으며 동시에 포위화합물을 형성시킬수 있을때는 그 생성률이 큰 영향을 이르킬수 있는 것을 지적할 수 있다.한 특성을 보여 식품제조, 식육연화 등 식품산업 분야에서의 활용가능성이 높을 것으로 보이며, 나아가 단백질이 갖는 식품학적 기능성을 높이는 데에도 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.를 한 후 저온 냉장차를 이용하여 유통한다면 관행 유통 구조보다 고품질의 포도를 유통시킬 수 있는 것으로 사료되며 앞으로는 완숙된 고 당도(12.0~15.0Bx)$^{\circ}$ 포도를 수확 한 즉시 예냉 처리하고 저온 유통한다면 보다 신선한 과일을 소비자에게 전달 할 수 있을 것이다.갈변물질이 생성되었다. 이와 같은 결과로 볼 때, BAAG의 처리는 BAAC의 경우보다 가격은 저렴하면서도 항균력은 우수한 천연 항균복합제재로써 농산물 식품원료에 적용하여 선도유지 기간을 연장할 수 있는 효과를 기대할 수 있었다. 과일 등의 포장제로서 이용할 가능성을 확인하였다.로 [-wh] 겹의문사는 복수 의미를 지닐 수 없 다. 그러면 단수 의미는 어떻게 생성되는가\ulcorner 본 논문에서는 표면적 형태에도 불구하고 [-wh]의미의 겹의문사는 병렬적 관계의 합성어가 아니라 내부구조를 지니지 않은 단순한 단어(minimal $X^{0}$ elements)로 가정한다. 즉, [+wh] 의미의 겹의문사는
