Deep Learning Based Error Control in Electric Vehicle Charging Systems Using Power Line Communication (전력선 통신을 이용한 전기자동차 충전 시스템에서 딥 러닝 기반 오류제어)

  • In this paper, we introduce an electric vehicle charging system using power line communication and propose a method to correct the error by applying a deep learning algorithm when an error occurs in the control signal of an electric vehicle charging system using power line communication. The error detection and correction of the control signal can be solved through the conventional error correcting code schemes, but the error is detected and corrected more efficiently by using the deep learning based error correcting code scheme. Therefore, we introduce deep learning based error correction code scheme and apply this scheme to electric vehicle charging system using power line communication. we proceed simulation and confirm performance with bit error rate. we judge whether the deep learning based error correction code scheme is more effective than the conventional schemes.

Design and Implementation of a 100 W Receiver for Wireless Power Transfer Using Coupled Magnetic Resonance (자기공명 무선전력전송용 100 W급 수신기 설계 및 제작)

  • In this paper, a receiver for wireless power transfer is proposed. The receiver consists of a 100 W rectifier in 1.8 MHz frequency band, and a constant current charger. In particular, two kinds of protection circuits are installed in the rectifier. They are a over-voltage protection circuit which block the input voltages greater than 30 V and a active-dummy load which maintains the receiver input impedance by automatically consuming the remaining input power. The constant current charger is designed to charge the battery with a charging current of up to 1 A. A wireless charging system is fabricated using the proposed receiver. The system is composed of a 130 W transmitter, two magnetic resonator, and proposed receiver for charging a 48 V Li-Ion battery using the coupled magnetic resonance method. By the measurement result, the system efficiency is about 54 %.

  • The smart grid technology is expected to significantly improve energy efficiency by dynamic power supply. One of its application is the Vehicle-to-Grid(V2G) that utilizes an electric vehicle's battery as a household storage battery. Meanwhile, a lot of researches are recently investigated in the area of wireless energy transfer technology because of its convenience and safety in charging a battery. With the wireless energy transfer infrastructure a wireless magnetic induction communication technique can help the dynamic power supply of the smart grid more efficient. In this paper, we propose a wireless magnetic induction communication sion cowhich includes data transmission and location-aware functions. We expect the sion cohelp the smart grid to control power supply more efficiently. We also developed its test-bed and evaluated the performance.

  • Recently, solar module is installed in crowded areas to offers services so that people can charge their smartphones or tablets. However, the burden in terms of cost is high to install in areas where utilization ratio is low and installation is difficult in limited spaces. In this paper, a system for collecting and providing the optical power is proposed from the analysis about the person that receives service in each area using the real-time data provided by the state and collected from the actual environment as well as considering the waiting time and the solar charging time in different environments. As a result, This study shows that charge was not delayed since collecting power exceeds charging power. Smartphone was fully charged in ninety-five minutes. we confirmed that with one smartphone, it can be charged a approximately fifty percent of the battery in between ten to twenty minutes, with multiple units they can be charged a approximately twenty percent of the battery in between ten to twenty minutes.

  • The fast-paced development in the field of wireless charger based on M2M, which is available anytime and anywhere, is being underway in accordance with the development of IT technology. Wireless charger technology in M2M has various security threats because it is based on wireless network. The purpose of this paper is to examine the threats of authentication and payment attacks based on wireless network attacks, and to propose the response technique that fit the situation of the wireless charger service by modifying the existing detecting authentication and payment through wireless charger.

  • This paper proposes the equalizing charger of series connected batteries which are controlled by the time-sharing method. One-chip microprocessor dectcts the terminal voltage of each battery and then determines the charging time inversely proportional to the terminal voltage so that it decrease the un¬balanced capacity. This system is compact and light, therefore it can be applied to portable equipment such as charger for electric vehicle. And it's so effective as to prevent from overcharging which causes their life to shorten.

  • 휴대폰 및 전자기기의 보급과 소비가 증가하면서 기기를 사용함의 기본이 되는 전력 공급의 문제가 대두되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 따라 소비자들의 가장 큰 관심은 기기의 전력을 얼마나 효율적으로 사용할 수 있느냐, 잦은 베터리의 충전을 최소화 할 수 있느냐에 쏠려있다. 사용량이 증가하는 추세에 의해 언제 어디서든 거리의 제한을 받지 않고 기기의 충전을 할 수 있는 무선 충전 기술 개발이 각광을 받고 있는 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 무선 충전의 효율성과 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있는 대안 기술로 현재 BLE기술 기반의 프로토콜을 사용하여 전력손실을 최소화 하는 근거리 통신 기술 서비스와 무선 충전 기술을 융합하는 시스템에 대해 연구하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 전기자동차에 탑재되는 리튬 폴리머 배터리의 고효율 충전 전략을 제시하고, 그에 따른 탑재형 충전기의 효율을 분석한다. 내부 임피던스에 의한 충전 손실을 전혀 고려하지 않는 기존의 정전류 충전방식과 대조적으로, 제안하는 방법은 배터리 내부 임피던스를 고려함으로써 충전과정의 손실을 상당량 저감할 수 있다. 본 연구의 타당성은 배터리 실험결과를 통하여 증명한다.

Surface Modification of Matrix and filler for Ultra High Density Elastomeric Material (초 고비중 탄성체 개발을 위한 매트릭스 탄성체 표면개질 및 충전제 제어기술 기초연구)

  • In this study, surface treatment of the elastomeric matrix was investigated to develop a substituting material for steel dynamic damper of automobile. The key technology is to get ultra high density elastomeric compound in order to substitute steel dynamic damper. The optimum matrix material(chloroprene rubber) and filler(metal powder) were selected for this. The several properties of elastomeric compound were examined. According to the results, the $t_{s2}$ of filled elastomeric compound was decreased with increasing the filler loading whereas the $t_{90}$ was increased. Also, tensile strength and rebound resilience were decreased with filler loading. To solve the problem of high filler loading, the photo grafting technique was employed on elastomeric matrix. The degree of grafting was determined by FTIR-ATR. Also, the filler surface was modified by chemical etching and the surface morphology was examine by SEM. After chemical treatment of filler, the particle size analyzer was used to examined the particle size, size distribution, and morphology of the modified filler.
