Shear Behavior and Shear Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Members Containing Steel Fibers (강섬유를 혼입한 철근 콘크리트 부재의 전단거동 및 전단해석에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 강섬유를 혼입한 철근콘크리트 부재의 전단거동에 관한 실험 및 이론적 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 강섬유가 혼입된 구조부재를 제작하여 실험을 수행하여 강섬유의 전단보강 효과를 규명하였으며, 부재의 연성, 극한전단강도 및 초기균열 전단강도 등을 모두 만족하는 최적의 강섬유 혼입량 및 전단 철근 배근량을 제안하였다. 본 실험으로부터 강섬유의 혼입으로 인하여 연성의 증가뿐 아니라, 초기균열강도는 크게 향상되었으며, 극한전단강도 역시 만족할만큼 증가함을 알수 있었다. 위의 실험결과로부터 강섬유 혼입량(체적비)1%, 시방서에서 규정하는 전단철근 필요량의 75%가 가장 만족스러운 조합임을 알 수 있었다. 본 논문에서는 강섬유가 혼입된 철근 콘크리트부재가 극한 전단강도 예측기법이 제시되었으며, 앞으로 강섬유 콘크리트는 연성을 필요로 한는 내진구조물등에 효율적으로 이용될 것으로 사료된다.

A Study on Initial Transient Behavior in Creep-Fatigue Crack Growth (크리프-피로 균열성장에서의 초기 천이거동에 대한 연구)

  • At early stage of creep-fatigue crack growth tests, initial transient behavior which implies high crack growth rate has been generally observed by some researchers. Since the influence of the initial transient crack growth behavior on the remaining life of components is significant, cause of it should be further studied. In this study, characteristics of the initial transient behavior of 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V steel is studied experimentally by performing creep-fatigue crack growth tests at $538^{\circ}C$ in air under trapezoidal waveshapes. It is verified that the cause of the initial transient behavior is not high ${(C_t)}_{avg}$ values due to the small scale creep condition at the early stage of test, but oxidation-dominated crack growth mechanism during the transient period which is different from the creep-dominated crack growth mechanism in steady crack growth period.

  • The influence of mean strain on the behavior of early stage stress amplitude was investigated quantitatively in low cycle fatigue. It was obtained that the exponent of cyclic strain(n') and the coefficient of cyclic strain(C') decreased with increasing cycle numbers in compressive mean strain level. But it was the opposite in 0% mean strain and tensile mean strain level. And the cyclic yield strength ($\delta_(yc)$) was constant irrespective of mean strain or cyclic strain

  • Joint spacing is a potent influence in increasing the long term performance of jointed concrete pavement slabs through the control of tensile stress, sealant failure and Load Transfer Efficiency (LTE). Internal Joint Spacing is an empirical and fixed method therefore this study will present the optimum joint spacing considerations depending on various climactic conditions. Calculating the optimum joint spacing eliminates random cracking due to the effect of the environmental loads such as the early behavior of drying shrinkage and heat hydration. Optimum joint spacing is calculated so as not to cause pavement distress by the deterioration of LTE by long term pavement movement. This study shows that the provisional joint spacing is 6-8m. Pavement Distress Prediction Models show that pavement distress has no effect on joint spacing of 8m.

Computation of Wake Vortex Behavior Behind Airplanes in Close Formation Flight Using a Fourier-Spectral Method (푸리에-스펙트럴 법을 사용한 근접 편대비행 항공기의 와 거동 계산)

  • Behaviors of wake vortices generated by an aircraft affect the performance and flight stability of flying aircraft in formation flight. In the present study, the trajectories of the wake vortices behind airplanes in close formation flight were computed using a Fourier spectral method. The behavior of wake vortices showed complex patterns depending on the initial circulation and the relative positions between the vortices. In the initial stage, the wake vortex movement was affected by the nascent vortex. When the vortex becomes closer to the other vortex, then a new trajectory is formed. When the viscous effect becomes dominant, the core radius increases. Thus, a new vortex moving near the existing vortex can have strong interaction with each other, resulting in the complicated behavior of wake vortices. In the future, the ground effect on the behavior of the wake vortices during take-off and landing will be studied.

도수로터널 굴착에 따른 지하수 유출

  • 터널 굴착에 따른 연구지역내 지하수체의 거동 특성을 파악하기 위하여 터널 굴착시 그라우팅 이전의 초기 유출량과 초기 그라우팅 이후의 구간별 유출량을 측정하였고 단열구조와 비교, 분석하였다. 초기 유출량은 120,990 m$^3$/day이며, 초기 유출이 심했던 구간은 크게 6개 구간으로 세분할 수 있다. 초기 그라우팅 후 지하수 유출이 심했던 구간 역시, 그라우팅 이전과 마찬가지로 6개 구간으로 세분할 수 있다. 그라우팅 전, 후의 유출량을 비교해 보면 그라우팅후의 유출량은 42,844m$^3$/day으로, 그라우팅 전에 비해 많이 감소되었다. 터널 굴착시 터널내로 유출되는 지하수의 대부분은 터널과 직교 혹은 사교하여 관통하고 있는 단층 및 단층 파쇄대와 연장성이 양호한 절리면들을 따라서 유동되고 있다. 터널내의 지하수 유출에 영향을 미치는 단열들은 대체로 4조의 불연속면군으로 분류 할 수 있는데, 주 분포방향은 크게 TSet 1 : N60-85$^{\circ}$W, TSet 3 : N40-50$^{\circ}$E, TSet 3 : N10-20$^{\circ}$E, TSet 4 : N70-80$^{\circ}$E이다.

A Study on the Nonlinear Buckling Behavior of Thin-Walled Sections (박판단면의 비선형 좌굴거동에 관한 해석적연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to provide and verify an analytical method, based on the spline finite strip method, which can be used to investigate the buckling mode and stress of thin-walled steel sections. Geometric imperfection and initial stress of plates and plate assemblies, which are resulted from various preloadings and may cause prebuckling deformations before buckling, are included in the analysis. Material nonlinearity and residual stress are also considered. It can be applied to sections with simple or non-simple boundary conditions and arbitrary loading. The method has been applied to investigate the buckling behavior of plates and plate assemblies which are subjected to compression with initial imperfections and residual stresses.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analysis of initial behavior of concrete pavement with initial measurement strain gauge for concrete pavement at field, and to investigate the field test results for field applicability testing. The early-age behaviors of concrete pavement slabs were measured using the strain gauges. From the slab depths and positions, the outputs from each gauges were recorded at initial curing period. The initial measurement of concrete pavement and check of crack at the joint were performed, the results could be summarized as follows. From the results of concrete strength, compressive strength and flexural strength were showed $271kgf/cm^2$, $43kgf/cm^2$ respectively. From the tests of early-age strain measurement, it was found that the strain varied at the maximum value of $150{\mu}{\varepsilon}$ and early behavior of concrete slab was showed a tensile strain. However, for long-term was showed a compressive strain due to dry-shrinkage.
