  • Recently, financial companies are promoting chatbot services in line with the reduction of branches and the expansion of non-face-to-face services. However, it is difficult to expand the chatbot services at once in the presence of technical limitations and constraints of internal and external environment. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the various situations of chatbot service to preemptively identify problems that can occur in stages and seek solutions. This study conducted interviews with 12 field practitioners and researchers to examine the intentions and behaviors of financial chatbot service users and interpreted them using TPB. The study revealed the characteristics of 'feelings and attitudes' such as convenience or inconvenience from the chatbot experience, 'subjective norms' such as herd behavior or the yearning for empathy of others, and 'behavioral control' according to the recognition of difficulty or convenience of chatbot use process. This study shows that this characteristic can affect the intention and actual behavior of users to use chatbot service continuously. In the future research, it is necessary to empirically study specific intentions and influence factors for actual users.

  • As the utilization of chatbots grows and the AI market grows, many companies are interested. And everybody is spurring growth by offering chatbot build services so that they can create chatbots. This makes chatbots easier to service on the messenger platform, which is changing the existing application market. In this paper, we present a methodology for designing and implementing existing DB-based applications as instant messenger platform-based applications, and summarize what to consider in actual implementation to provide an optimal system structure. According to this methodology, we design and implement a chatbot that serves as an teaching advisor who provides information to the students in the curriculum. The implemented application objectively visualizes the user's desired information from the user's point of view and delivers it through the interactive interface quickly and intuitively. By implementing these services and real service, it is predicted that DB-based information providing applications will be implemented as chatbots and will be changed to bi-directional communication through an interactive interface. it is predicted that DB-based information providing applications will be implemented as chatbots and will be changed to bi-directional communication through an interactive interface. Enterprise legacy application will take chatbot technology as one of important digital transformation initiative.

  • The application of chatbots on e-commerce platforms is becoming increasingly widespread. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, previous research has predominantly focused on service failures occurring with the chatbots themselves. There is limited research on scenarios where chatbots handle service failures that are controllable by the sellers. This paper conducted online surveys through two experiments involving a total of 546 participants. The results indicate that, in the event of a service failure, customers are more likely to spread negative word-of-mouth about the store and have lower repurchase intentions when served by chatbots compared to human customer service representatives. This is because customers experience higher levels of anger with the chatbots. However, when customers perceive the service failure as uncontrollable by the seller, the impact of the type of customer service provider on negative word-of-mouth via customer anger is weakened while when customers perceive it as controllable the impact is strengthened. This study provides theoretical contributions for online retail enterprises to apply intelligent customer service while preventing further deterioration of service failures.

  • Recently, in various business fields, companies are concentrating on providing chatbot services to various environments by adding artificial intelligence to existing messenger platforms. Organizations in the field of job placement also require chatbot services to improve the quality of employment counseling services and to solve the problem of agent management. A text-based general chatbot classifies input user sentences into learned sentences and provides appropriate answers to users. Recently, user sentences inputted to chatbots are inputted as short texts due to the activation of social network services. Therefore, performance improvement of short text classification can contribute to improvement of chatbot service performance. In this paper, we propose T-EBOW (Translation-Extended Bag Of Words), which is a method to add translation information as well as concept information of existing researches in order to strengthen the short text classification for employment chatbot. The performance evaluation results of the T-EBOW applied to the machine learning classification model are superior to those of the conventional method.

  • Artificial Intelligence(AI) technology can be used in arts exhibitions ranging from planning exhibitions, filed progress, and evaluation. AI has been expanded its scope from planning exhibition and guidance services to tools for creating arts. This paper focuses on chatbots that utilize exhibition and AI technology convergence to provide information and services. To study more specifically, I developed a chatbot for exhibition services using the Naver Clova chatbot tool and information from the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art(MMCA), Korea. In this study, information was limited to viewing and exhibition rather than all information of the MMCA, and the chatbot was developed which provides a scenario type to get an answering user want to gain through a button and a text question and answer(Q&A) type to directly input a question. As a result of evaluating the chatbot with six items according to ELIZA's chatbot evaluation scale, a score of 4.2 out of 5 was derived by completing the development of a chatbot to be used to deliver viewing and exhibition information. The future research task is to create a perfect chatbot model that can be used in an actual arts exhibition space by connecting the developed chatbot with continuous scenario answers, resolving text Q&A-type answer failures and errors, and expanding additional services.
