The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of SERVICE-LEARNING related to geriatric oral health according to dental hygiene education. The result of this study were summarized as follows: 1. Self-efficacy and altruism & social responsibility was higher in post SERVICE-LEARNING than in pre SERVICE-LEARNING(p < 0.05). 2. Comparing pre-score of self-efficacy and altruism & social responsibility in terms numbers of grade and service frequency, they showed statistically significant (p < 0.05). 3. Comparing the service frequency and satisfaction score after SERVICE-LEARNING, they showed statistically significant (p < 0.05). 4. Comparing service satisfaction score in terms numbers of grade and service frequency, they showed statistically significant (p < 0.05). 5. Comparing the service frequency and curriculum subject evaluation after SERVICE-LEARNING, they showed statistically significant (p < 0.05). 6. Comparing the curriculum subject evaluation score in terms numbers of grade and service frequency, they showed statistically significant (p < 0.05). 7. Result of post test(1 & 3grade, 2 & 3grade) for score difference of self-efficacy, altruism & social responsibility, service satisfaction, curriculum subject evaluation showed statistically significant(p < 0.05).

사회의 환경변화에 따라 기업 또한 기업 또한 과거 폐쇄적 수직 체계의 position power에서 개방적 수평체계의 communication power로 역할이 변화하고 있다. 기업의 사회적 책임 이행의 대표적인 활동인 사회공헌활동은 지역사회와의 소통 수단 뿐 아니라 새로운 마케팅전략으로 자리매김 되고 있다. 사회공헌활동의 성공요소 중 가장 중요한 것은 구성원의 봉사적 마인드이다. 봉사적 마인드는 이론 뿐 아니라 실천적 행동철학에 기인 한다. 기업이 바라는 인재상과도 밀접한 관계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 기업이 신입사원 채용시 봉사활동 실적을 반영하는데 있어서 표준적인 가이드라인을 연구 제시하고자 한다.

While the endeavor to introduce the service activity in the college education is enlarged, the object of this study is to introduce the concept of service learning in social work education. The 'Service-Learning' is focusing on the practical education, the liaison and participation in community and the promotion of civil awareness which are very important in social work education that focuses on the interest and participation in the human and social problem as practical study. This study contemplates the educational effect of the course of social work combined with service learning. This study verifies the change of the self-efficacy, the altruism, social responsibility as personal growth of students by carrying out the course of social welfare and service activities side by side. To investigate the learning effect qualitative analysis in journal of service activity was done. Through the service learning, students showed the promotion in self-efficacy, social responsibility. And as a result of qualitative analysis, it was found that students could participate in the intervention of family problems, could have lots of understanding of theory, could increase the interest of family welfare, could experience a change of perception about the client. Based on the above mentioned results, this study address that Service-Learning is useful teaching methodology in social work education to accomplish the personal growth of students and promote the learning effects.

성신양회는 1967년 회사 설립 이래 고품질 시멘트를 생산 공급함으로써 대한민국 경제의 든든한 주춧돌이 되어왔다. 이 회사는 특히 기본과 원칙에 입각하여 기업윤리를 준수하고 사회적 책임을 적극 실천함으로써 아름다운 기업문화를 창조해나가고 있다. 여기서는 성신양회 사보에 실린 봉사활동 체험기를 재구성해 그들의 가슴 따뜻하고 소중한 이야기를 담아보았다.

In this study, I tried to find the effect of elderly volunteerism satisfaction(personal achievements, social actvity, social responsibility) on the ego-integrity(attitude about life, satisfaction of the present life, the acceptance of the past living, the acceptance of aging). For the study, I collected 360 samples from people of 60 year-old adults who reside of in Gyeonggi-do. I used frequency analysis, principal component factor analysis, reliability analysis, T-test, ANOVA, hierachial regression analysis with SPSS 18,0. The results are as follows, First, volunteerism satisfaction on the ego-integrity, In the way of the effect of only personal achievements affects positive effects. Second, effect of self-efficacy volunteerism on the satisfaction and the ego-integrity between analysis attitude about life and satisfaction of the present life are meaningful but the acceptance of the past living and the acceptance of aging are not meaningful anout moderating effects. Theird, satisfaction about aged population sociological character level of significance were difference in factors.

Maritime safety management needs active public participations because the sea is too wide for a government to respond to all unexpected accidents with limited resources. Marine rescue volunteer organizations of US, UK, Japan and Korea were compared one another on the base of disaster management governance theory, and recommendations for the development of marine rescue volunteer organization of Korea were proposed. The advanced organizations commonly have tradition of marine rescue voluntaryism in the advanced maritime countries. They have nation-wide networks and self-governing structures. Their main activities include public maritime safety education and fundraising programs as well as marine rescue operations. They have cooperative relationships with government agencies in charge of national maritime safety management, which are usually guaranteed by legislations or institutional systems. Donations from the public are major source of their finances. Members mainly consist of civil volunteers, and get basic compensations for their expenses. For the advancement of marine rescue volunteer organization of Korea, efforts are needed to strengthen the membership of civil rescue fleet, to activate public education and fundraising programs, and to amend the related law for institutional support.

The purpose of this study is to find the characteristics of the blindness of Sim Bongsa, Sim Cheong's father, in Sim Cheong Jeon (the story of Sim Cheong). This is one of the representative works about the filial piety in Korea. This article regards the story as the process of restoring the sight of the father and tries to examine the cause and the timing of his blindness to make its diagnosis in the psychoanalytic perspective. The predominant characteristics of Sim Bongsa were very dependent and irresponsible. He was so unqualified to be a head of a family. He sought to close his eyes toward reality in his unconsciousness. His blindness can be diagnosed as a case of psychogenic hysteria, conversion disorder. The fact that he suddenly could see when the empress turned out to be his own daughter, Cheong, can be a meaningful proof for this diagnosis. It means that his symptom of blindness disappeared when he realized a new reality which ensures a comfortable and easy-going life for himself.

The public library as a public institution, funded by the public, is accountable to provide community based services. Those services can be developed through identifying community needs and implementing proper planning process to satisfy the identified needs. Under budget pressure, public libraries have changed their emphasis from the provision of the standardized services to the establishment of specialized services to reflect the differing characteristics of the community and the community members each public library serves. This paper reviews the research in this area since 1970s and suggests guidelines for the enhancement of community based public library services.
