  • Car blackboxes record the information and status of driving. Since blackboxes are commonly used in daily life, the usage of video data recorded from blackboxes is increasing for investigating. Investigators use a own analysis tool suitable for their blackbox provided by the manufacturer in order to check the data. But the tools are not enough to use in the digital forensic analysis because they are dependent on a specific model of blackbox and provides ungeneralized functions. Moreover, if the manufacturer is bankrupt, then their own tools can not be obtained also. Therefore, the way data are stored in the blackboxes which are now in the market are investigated and the features and limitations which have blackbox's own analysis tools are checked. And a comprehensive tool for the analysis of blackboxes is designed and implemented as in this paper.

  • 개인이 스스로 자신의 건강 기록을 관리 가능한 스마트 헬스(s-Health), 웨어러블 컴퓨팅 기기들과 모바일 기기들이 헬스케어 도구로서 활용되기 시작하면서 모바일 기반의 헬스케어(m-Health)가 부상하고 있으며, 현재 여러 가지 Light Care 제품이 있으나 수면 유도 및 기상 유도 등과 같이 간단한 색상으로 LED Spectrum을 이용한 제품과 리모콘을 이용한 조명 색상을 조절하는 제품에 그치고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 실제 사용자의 스트레스와 생활환경 등의 다중인지 요소를 이용해 스트레스 완화를 위한 LED 조명을 조정하며, 그 정보를 수집하여 헬스 케어 플랫폼과 연계한 컨텐츠를 구현하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, the measurement system of speed and distance of vehicles using laser is implemented and verified through the outdoor test. The implemented system consists of a laser module and a control/speed-computation module. The Former is composed of a optics part, a transmit/receive part, and a LDC(Laser Detection and Counter), and the latter is a control part that controls the laser module and a speed computation part that calculates velocity of vehicles using a microcontroller. The algorithm to compute speed has been developed to consider characteristics of laser and surrounding conditions. The implemented system has been tested and verified on the high way, and the result shows stability of the system and accuracy of the algorithm.

  • GPS (Global Positioning System) made by the Department of Defense in U.S.A is positioning system to use satellite and initially it has been used only for the military forces but open to civilian in about 1987. This system has widely been used for not only surveying land, but also car navigation on the street and means to build up the data of the GIS. With GPS, recently our country is accelerating to make imbeded system and also the study on imbeded system is well under way. For example, Car navigation and the construction of the Seokang bridge between Willson Arch at Han river by using DGPS were evaluated as successful model to lead accurate location with the precision of the cm. The examples of the project performance with GPS has gradually been extended to the each department organization of the local and central government. for the example, It is true that BIS(Bus Information System) is widely spreading out. In addition, the study on the Distribution Maintenance System is expected to be well in progress to take advantage of GPS based on the data base of the NGIS(National Geography Institute System) of the NGI(National Geography Institute). This paper shows that we embodied not only the large imbeded system for car and finding the location in Korean Land Corporation but also the protype of the kinematics Wrist Held which is easily portable to pedestrian, climber and marathon runner.

  • In this paper, it was proposed to develop front and rear image monitoring system for vehicle that help a driver to cope with urgent situation about a dangerous element. When parking a vehicle, the risk factors to be formed by the dead zone can be resolved by using anterior and posterior cameras of the vehicle. In embedded system environment, a SoC(System on Chip) and two high-resolution CMOS (Complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor) image sensors were used to transfer two high-resolution image data through he TCP/ IP-based network. To transfer image data through he TCP/ IP-based network, the images received by two cameras were compressed by using H.264 and they were transmitted with wireless method(Wi-Fi) by using real-time transport protocol (Real-time Transport Protocol). Transmission loss, transmission delay and transmission limit were solved in wireless (Wi-Fi) environment and the bit-rate of two image data compressed by H.264 was adjusted. And the system for the optimal transmission in wireless (Wi-Fi) environment was materialized and experimented.

  • Recently, various industrial embedded systems including vehicles controlled electronically are evolving to distributed multi-micro controller system. Accordingly, there is a need for standard CAN(Controller Area Network) protocol that ensures high stability and reliability of communication and is simple to construct object-oriented system with high control efficiency. CAN communication interface used general-purpose processor doesn't have many limitations in various application development because of fixed hardware architecture. This paper design and implement a CAN communication interface system based on FPGA. It is verified function and performance of system through monitoring communication with existing AT90CAN128 controller. Implemented CAN communication interface can be reused in development of application systems based on FPGA. And it provides low-cost, small-size and low-power design advantages.

  • 최근 GPS를 이용한 위치기반서비스(LBS)는 일상생활의 큰 변화를 가져왔다. 이러한 LBS 중에서도 가장 흔히 접할 수 있는 것이 차량 항법용 장치인 네비게이션이다. 초창기의 네비게이션이 단순히 목적지까지 가기 위한 가장 짧은 도로를 안내해 주는 것이 목적이었다면 최근에는 TPEG과 같은 실시간 교통 상황 안내, 이용자 선호도를 고려한 경로탐색, 에코 드라이빙과 같은 좀 더 높은 수준의 서비스가 개발되고 있다. 하지만 현재의 차량항법 시스템은 교통상황 안내 이외에는 현실적인 도로상황 반영이 어렵고 시간대별 통행량의 차이가 큰 국내 교통상황에 대한 고려가 미흡하다. 또한 교통정보 수집장치가 설치되지 않은 도로는 교통상황 안내마저도 제공되지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 임베디드 DBMS를 이용하여 과거 통행이력정보를 저장하고 활용할 수 있도록 도로망 DB스키마를 정의하였다. 그리고 이를 탐색경로의 소요 시간 산출에 활용하여 실제적인 도로상황을 고려한 경로안내 방법을 제안한다. 실제주행이력은 네트워크 데이터의 링크단위로 관리되며 저장된 주행이력은 경로탐색에 필요한 정보인 진입시각, 진출시각, 요일, 통행횟수로 관리된다. 이렇게 단말기에 저장된 주행이력은 중앙DB를 통해 사용자간 공유가 가능하고 향후에는 실시간 동기화를 통해 더욱 신뢰도 높은 경로탐색에 활용될 수 있다.

Design and Implementation of Multi Exposure Smart Vehicular Camera Applying Auto Exposure Control Algorithm Based on Region of Interest (관심 영역 기반의 자동 노출 조절 알고리즘을 적용한 다중 노출 차량용 스마트 카메라의 설계 및 구현)

  • Recently, many researches are carried out for Advanced Driver Assistant Systems(ADAS). Especially, many studies are carried out to analyze the road situation using road images. In order to improve the performance of the road situation analysis, it is necessary to acquire images with appropriate exposure time. In this paper, we design and implement multi exposure smart vehicular camera which provides road traffic information to driver. Proposed device can acquire road traffic information by on-board camera and various sensors. And we propose an auto exposure control algorithm for the road environment to increase accuracy of image recognition. In addition, we also propose the switching ROI method that apply existing ROI techniques to overcome a limited computation power of embedded devices. We developed prototype of multi exposure smart vehicular camera and performed experiments to evaluate proposed auto exposure control algorithm and switching ROI method. The results show that the average accuracy of image recognition increased by 13.45%.

An Implementation of Mobile Platform using Location Data Index Techniques (위치 데이터 인덱스 기법을 적용한 모바일 플랫폼구현)

  • In this thesis, GPS and the electronic mapping were used to realize such a system by recognizing license plate numbers and identifying the location of objects that move at synchronous times with simulated movement in the electronic map. As well, throughout the study, a camera attached to a PDA, one of the mobile devices, automatically recognized and confirmed acquired license plate numbers from the front and back of each cu. Using this mobile technique in a wireless network searches for specific plate numbers and information about the location of the car is transmitted to a remote sewer. The use of such a GPS-based system allows for the measurement of topography and the effective acquisition of a car's location. The information is then transmitted to a central controlling center and stored as text to be reproduced later in the form of diagrams. Getting positional information through GPS and using image-processing with a PDA makes it possible to estimate the correct information of a car's location and to transmit the specific information of the car to a control center simultaneously, so that the center will get information such as type of the cu, possibility of the defects that a car might have, and possibly to offer help with those functions. Such information can establish a mobile system that can recognize and accurately trace the location of cars.

An Optimization Technique in Memory System Performance for RealTime Embedded Systems (실시간 임베디드 시스템을 위한 메모리 시스템 성능 최적화 기법)

  • 통상 하드웨어 캐시의 크기보다 수십에서 수백배 큰 크기의 데이타를 랜덤하게 접근하는 경우 낮은 메모리 접근 지역성(locality)에 기인하여 캐시 메모리 성능이 급격히 저하되는 문제를 야기한다. 예를 들면, 현재 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 차량용 General Positioning System (GPS) 프로그램의 경우 최대 32개의 위성으로부터 데이터를 받아 수신단의 위치를 계산하는 부분이 핵심 모듈중의 하나 이며, 이는 전체 성능의 50% 이상을 차지한다. 이러한 모듈에서는 위성 신호를 실시간으로 받아 버퍼 메모리에 저장하며, 이때 필요한 데이터가 순차적으로 저장되지 못하기 때문에 랜덤하게 데이터를 읽어 사용하게 된다. 결과적으로 낮은 지역성에 기인하여 실시간 (realtime)안에 데이터 처리를 하기 어려운 문제에 직면하게 된다. 통상의 통신 응용의 알고리즘 상에 내재된(inherited) 낮은 메모리 접근 지역성을 개선하는 것은 알고리즘 상에서의 접근을 요구한다. 이는 높은 비용이 필요함으로 본 연구에서는 사용되는 데이터 구조를 변환하여 지역성을 높이는 방향으로 접근하였다. 결과적으로 핵심 모듈에서 2배, 전체 시스템 성능에서 14%를 개선할 수 있었다.
