Despite the important of qualitative research method, little is used to understand dress and culture in Korea. This study proposed qualitative research method to understand deeply cultural aspects of dress. The articles which were selected from J. of Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles, The Korean Society of Costume, Clothing and Textiles Research Journal, Home Economics Research Journal, published master's thesis and doctoral dissertation, and interdisciplinary articles were analyzed from 1977～1999. Based on results of the analysis of articles, it was found that qualitative research method was appropriate to understand dress and culture. Many articles were dealt with non-western culture. However, the use of qualitative research method is very well suited to help the researcher understand concepts that are deeply embedded in western culture. Implications pertain to researcher in the area of human behavior and marketing. The importance of dependability and credibility was discussed in qualitative research method.

정보통신 및 IT 기술의 획기적 발전으로 인해 오늘 날 우리가 접할 수 있는 정보는 그 양적 질적 측면 비약적인 성장을 거듭하고 있다. 또한 인터넷 보급의 활성화로 대부분의 사람들은 다양한 종류 및 형식으로 구성된 정보 속에서 지내고 있다. 특히 현재 웹 기반의 정보는 날이 갈수록 대량화 고수준화를 향해 내닫고 있다. 이에 반해 정보 소외계층의 한 부류로 인식되고 있는 시각장애 사용자들은 그들의 신체적 환경적 요인으로 인해 원하는 정보를 쉽게 획득하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 시각장애를 가진 사용자를 위한 효율적 웹 기반 교육 서비스 인터페이스 구현의 방법을 제시하는 것이 그 목적이다. 이에 현재 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 Screen Reader S/W의 기능적 고찰을 통해 시각장애를 가지고 있는 웹 사용자들에게 사용상의 편의 및 양적 및 질적 측면에서의 보다 나은 정보를 제공할 수 있는 웹 기반 교육 서비스의 인터페이스 구현 방법에 대한 연구를 실제 구현을 통한 그 만족도의 측정을 통해 알아보려 한다.

In Korean society, a housewife and mother often plays the role of family resource manager. In 2008, the newly appointed Korean government proposed a new direction in social policies, including family policy, that is, "active social welfare". According to "active social welfare", family policy focuses on a preventive policy and a family needs-oriented policy. In other words, newly established family policies should reflect parents' needs in their family resource management. In this economic downturn, family policies should be established to satisfy parents' needs to overcome their own family's economic crisis. This study focuses on policy recipients' real voices and their needs: they need the government's help supporting their efforts to overcome the economic crises within their families.

본 연구는 공공도서관과 이용자 간 커뮤니케이션 채널인 민원을 청원/건의와 불만표현의 두 가지 성격을 지닌 행위로 이해하고, 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 질적방법론에 기반하여 6명의 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 그 결과 민원에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 물리적 조건, 서비스 적절성, 장서 적절성, 소통빈도 및 방향성등을 도출하였다. 이러한 민원의 기능적, 관계 구조적 요인의 도출을 통해 도서관민원의 만족도 제고를 위한 기능개선 도구로서 뿐만 아니라, 도서관과 이용자간의 양방향 소통채널의 하나로 도서관에 대한 인식 제고의 도구로서의 가능성을 논의하였다.

The aim of the research is to lead to suggestions on public health policy, to suggest the direction of accessibility to public health services in rural area through analyzing various health programs and health service system, health care facilities. Nepal's public health policy needs improvement in the quality of the health services as well as accessibility to the services to improve population quality.

The purpose of this study is to explore qualitatively what kind of coping strategy the Korean older adults use when they are depressed and why. Participants were users, older than 60, of an elderly welfare center in Seoul, and answers of 34 respondents who experienced depression were included in the analysis. The collected data were analyzed through content analysis. The results of the analysis showed that strategies to cope with depression used by participants were composed of 6 domains and 11 sub-domains: health behavior (medical approach / exercise and diet), family and social contact (social interaction / going out and going on a trip / communication with family), Religious activities (Religious activities), lifelong education (hobbies / educational activities), productive activities (labor), health risk behaviors (drinking and gambling / resignation). The depression coping strategies of the older adults and their characteristics are as follows. First, older adults used diverse problem-focused coping strategies to cope with depression. Second, older adults considered various coping strategies together and used them simultaneously. Third, the facility space for older adults functions as a shelter. Fourth, although there were cases where medical approach was used, the intention to reuse was very low. Through this study, the following suggestions were made to help older adults cope with depression more successfully. First, access to various coping strategies should be promoted. Second, more places where older adults can spend their time comfortably need to be provided. Third, resistance to mental health care should be resolved.

This study used metaphors as a analysis tool to investigate elementary school students' formation and development of angle concepts. For this purpose, the students were asked to write words associated with angle, right angle, acute angle and obtuse angle and to explain why. In case of angle and right angle, responses of 268 students from 3rd to 6th graders were analyzed and for acute angle and obtuse angle, those of 192 students from 4th to 6th graders were examined. As the results of categorizing the metaphors, they can be classified into categories such as; (1) qualitative aspects: 'things metaphor', 'personality metaphor', 'emotions metaphor' etc., (2) quantitative aspects: 'motions metaphor', 'changes metaphor', 'emotions metaphor' etc., and (3) relational aspects: 'shape relations metaphor.' The metaphoric expressions were prominent in 'qualitative aspects' associated with shapes. As for the other aspects, 'quantitative aspect'- the size of angles and the amount of spread and 'relational aspects' - elements of angle and relationship with another shapes, the frequency increses were shown to as grade levels were up. In case of right angle and acute angle, 'qualitative aspects' associated with shapes were outstanding and the frequency of the metaphoric expressions of obtuse angle was distributed similarly in three aspects. As the figure strand and the measurement strand are integrated to an strand in the 2022 revised curriculum, we need more discussion of multifaced aspects of angle and the learning sequences in the 'figure and measurement' strand.

The purpose of this study was to analyze inductively Critical Success Factors of Digital Textbook-Based Instruction based on qualitative research. To accomplish the purpose of the study, D elementary school in Incheon, one of digital textbook model schools, was selected as the school for observation. Three fifth graders and their teacher were interviewed and their six lessons were used for analyzing teaching and learning activities in digital textbook-based instruction. The results of the study, 'the use of systematic strategies based on multimedia features', 'information literacy-related questions and answers', 'specific guidance and help', 'the stability of the physical system and equipment', 'active collaborative learning and interaction', 'individual self-directed learning', 'consideration of emotional/physical changes', 'selection and concentration based upon available resources were identified as critical success factors of digital textbook-based instruction.

We examine how combinations of key factors affecting healthcare user innovation vary by innovation stages from idea generation through R&D to commercialization and venturing using a fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) of thirty Korean cases in the healthcare field. Our empirical analysis shows that well-functioning innovation network and easy resource acquisition facilitate ideation of radical user innovation. However, technological capability and governmental support are crucial to make a shift to R&D as well as commercialization stages. Differently, incremental user innovation depends heavily on technological capability of users. Our analysis can provide policy makers as well as corporate innovation mangers with a strategic framework for boosting user innovation along three stages.

In recent years space planning for modern city has been accomplished through scientific high technique and computer supported collaborative work. Relatively human being is treated as a component of the space or whole building and according to the social structure people tend to prefer private space. The necessity of the open space as an active place is emphasized now because the interaction created between users of the space and the nature, surrounding environment can influence on improving quality of outdoor life and giving the place specific identity. In this paper three ways of analyses of components which compose the open space are studied. Especially through the process of analyses derived from differenet areas, the necessity of communication model in collaborative work is proposed.
