The purpose of this study was to analyse the textbooks of counseling skills and techniques to understand what contents are included and to identify differences of contents between psychological counseling textbooks and career counseling textbooks. 5 psychological counseling textbooks and 4 career counseling textbooks were to analyse. First of all, each textbook contains various contents from the author's viewpoint. Therefore, educators need to understand the characteristics of the textbooks, when they choose the textbook among them. Secondly, there are common contents and different contents between psychological counseling textbooks and career counseling textbooks. The common contents are 'skills based on counseling theory', 'counseling relationship', interview and counseling process skills', 'client assessment and understanding', 'multicultural counseling'. 'Response skills' are regarded as the most important content in psychological counseling textbooks, while 'client assessment and understanding' being the most important in career counseling textbooks.

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of a employment career counseling program on university student' by analyzing whether it would bring any changes to the selected. The subjects in this study were 60 university student who were users of A university in the city of A. An experimental group and a control group were organized with 60 university student' each, and a employment career counseling program was conducted in eight sessions, once a biweekly. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, the university student' who participated in the employment career counseling program showed improvement in career maturity. Second, the university student' who participated in the employment career counseling program expressed better career self-efficacy. Third, the university student' who participated in the employment career counseling program felt less career barriers.

The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of the career guidance counselor system and to explore the challenges of the career guidance counselor system in the future. The results of the study are as follows: First, in the case of the career counseling teacher system, ① The qualifications for career counseling teachers are through regular education and training according to the law. ② After acquiring the qualifications for career advancement counseling, receiving an appointment to become a subject teacher for 'career advancement counseling' is subject to another selection criteria. ③ At least one career counseling teacher must be assigned to each school. ④ The common job of secondary career counseling teachers suggested by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education consists of 15 items, focusing on the task of overseeing school career education as the head of the career counseling department. are presenting ⑤ The Ministry of Education is using a career guidance model as a guideline for career guidance to be referenced when providing career guidance in secondary schools. Second, the task of the career counseling teacher system is to examine the theoretical basis of the career guidance model presented in the ① Career Guidance Guidelines. ② It is necessary to transform former teachers into career teachers. ③ It is necessary to expand the number of career guidance counselors currently assigned to middle and high schools. ④ It is necessary to expand subject-integrated career education.

In this study, career counseling collegiate career maturity differences before and after program implementation through proven collegiate career counseling program development and future of the University Career guidance and on the basis of the direction is set. Verification results first college career counseling program has not been applied to the experimental group than in the control group were improved career attitude maturity level.

This study investigated the current status and needs of career counseling based on the student's perception of specialized vocational high school in Daejeon. The main purpose of this study is to provide the future direction and improvement strategies of career counseling in specialized vocational high school through the evaluation of current situation and student's needs. The analysis results of this study are as follows. First, most of students decided their admission into a specialized vocational high school when they were three grades in middle school. It indicates that career counseling teacher plays important roles during that time. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen the ability of career counseling teachers and to develop the various programs to seek student's aptitude and talent from the period of middle school. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen the ability of career counseling teachers and to develop the various programs to seek student's aptitude and talent from the period of middle school. Second, since most of career counseling takes place primarily with class teacher, professional counseling education for class teachers is required. It also needs to expand the specialized counselors to reduce the overburden of class teachers and develop various counseling programs. Third, vocational high school students need the specialized counseling programs according to their major. Effective group counseling programs as well as one-on-one counseling programs which can help the student's career decision should be developed.

In this study, university students career decision efficacy through group counseling program to verify the effectiveness of group counseling program in the future career development of students and the university's career guidance aims to be the basis of the direction of the setting. Verification results first college career counseling program has not been applied to the experimental group compared to the control group, the level of efficacy was improved career decision. Change of career decision-efficacy between groups T-test results shall not be liable for the entire career decision efficacy significant difference was found that factors For a detailed planning, self-evaluation of the results showed no significant changes.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the textbooks of career counseling which are written or translated in Korean so as to understand the usefulness and limitation on the usage of career counseling textbooks. Research questions are as follows: 1) what contents are included in textbooks of career counseling? 2) what are the differences of content rates among textbooks of career counseling? 10 textbooks of career counseling were analysed(6 textbooks: introduction to career counseling, 4 textbooks: focused on career counseling skills and techniques) based on the competency components for career counseling professionals presented by Yoo(2009). Results indicated that 1) 6 textbooks of introduction to career counseling have the most content of 'category1: theories and concepts related to career counseling'. In comparison, 4 textbooks focused on career counseling skills and techniques have the most content of 'category4: career counseling competency'. 2) Based on the unit of analysis chapter, the highest rates are 'category4: career counseling competency(33.33%)' and 'category1: theories and concepts related to career counseling(28.15%)'. 3) It is hard to find the contents related to the knowledge and skills of individual and group counseling(category 2), the competencies of network, problem solving, peer counselor feedback, administration, ethic(category 8,9,10,11,13), the growth and self-management as professionals(category 12,14).

This paper is to redefine the concept of Cyber Career Counseling Activation(=C-C-C-A) and verify the effects of the factors affecting the C-C-C-A at Korean academic high school level in Kyunggi Province. In this research, we hypothesize that the three independent variables increase the effects of Cyber Career Counseling Activation.. To discuss the hypothesis, we analyzed survey data of 322 students who had taken Cyber Career Counseling in December 2007 based on Structural Equation Model. The results are as follows: First, the three crucial factors(Expanding C-C-C Opportunities, Improving C-C-C Service, Establishing C-C-C Service System) increase the C-C-C-A effectiveness. Second, as a result of Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA), the goodness of fit indices(GFI, AGFI, CFI, RMSEA) demonstrate statistical significance and fitness of the C-C-C-A Model. Therefore, the outcomes show that the three factors are the significant ones of Cyber Career Counseling Activation Model.

The purpose of this study is to examine social influence of the counselors on the network for a career counseling on gifted students of science and general students. This study collected data from 151 gifted students of science and 212 general students. The collected data was analyzed by the social network analysis. The results are as follows: First, we found that mother had the highest centrality indicators and teacher had the lowest centrality indicators on the career counseling network in both groups. And the max-flow indicators from mothers to teachers were the lowest on the career counseling network, on other hand; general students had lower centrality indicators than gifted students of science. Second, father was the most obvious counselor to cover for mother, on the hand, teacher was the worst counselor to cover for mother on the career counseling network. The gifted students group of science had less difficulty to cover for mother than the general students group. While teacher had the highest limits to information exchange on the career counseling network in both groups, mother had the lowest limits. As the result, we can conclude that mother played a key role on the career counseling network in gifted students of science and general students, while teachers was excluded from the career counseling network of students. Therefore, it is necessary to connect systematically parents with teachers for leading effectively students to their career; also government needs to build a career counseling system for this.

This study aims to examine what influence a career exploration group counselling program has on career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity of female college students. As a result of the study, it was discovered that the career exploration group counselling program had statistically significant influence on goal choice, job information and future plan which are sub-variables of career decision-making self-efficacy while it had no significant influence on problem solving. Also the program had a statistically significant influence on decision, independency, and involvement which are sub-variables of career maturity while it had no significant influence on compromise. Such results show that the career exploration group counselling program had a significant influence on career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity of the subjects. Therefore, it is suggested that the career exploration group counselling program should be properly developed and provided so that students can choose career which fit for their aptitude and ability. Further, courses for career exploration group counselling program should be provided at universities to help them with career.
