  • 본 논문은 상담 직업 분야에 인공지능 기술을 도입했을 때의 사례를 분석하고 상담직업의 발전방안을 제시한다. 상담 직업의 역할과 중요성을 살펴보고, 상담을 할 때 심리적인 요인으로 원활한 상담 진행이 어려웠던 부분에 인공지능 기술을 도입하는 방안을 제시한다. 인공지능 기술을 도입했을 때 상담사의 심리적인 요소에 소비되었던 비용은 줄이고 기존 상담 데이터 분석을 통한 상담 전략 수립에 도움을 주는 등의 상담도구를 발전시키는 방안을 수립하여 인공지능 기술을 통해 상담 직업이 어떻게 발전될 수 있는지 살펴본다.

Survey on Perceptions Regarding the Reform of Professional Qualifications in Employment Services (고용서비스 관련 전문자격 개편에 대한 인식 조사)

  • Although jobs in the employment service sector have been continuously expanding over the past 20 years, many in the labor market point out that the signaling and selection functions of job counselor qualifications are deteriorating because job counseling and psychology were developed mainly in the early 2000s. Therefore, in this study, a survey was conducted on current employment service workers on the establishment and improvement of employment service professional qualifications. According to the data analysis, employment service workers lack the current level of competence compared to their importance in all their jobs, and there is a limit to taking charge of all the expanded employment service jobs such as corporate support, administrative management, and labor market program planning and execution as a single job counselor. As for the direction of reorganization of employment service-related qualifications in the future, more than half agreed to establish new qualifications. Similarly, more than half of the respondents wanted to strengthen the qualifications of existing job counselors related to employment services.

The effects of work value of vocational counselor to organizational commitment : Mediator effect of job satisfaction (직업상담사의 직업가치관이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 직무만족 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of work value of vocational counselors on organizational commitment and the mediating effect of job satisfaction. For this aim, this study conducted a survey concerning vocational counseling, work value, organizational commitment and job satisfaction targeting 207 vocational counselors in the Jeonbuk region. Analysis results found higher work value of vocational counselors resulted in higher organizational commitment. Second, concerning the relationship between work value and organizational commitment of vocational counselors, job satisfaction showed a significant mediating effect. Furthermore, in accordance with the type of work value, the relationship between organization commitment and both inherent and extrinsic work value had significant mediating effects on job satisfaction. Through this, the study confirmed that when vocational counselors recognize not only the inherent value of work is high, but also the extrinsic value such as benefits that could be obtained socially and economically through job, it is more likely to lead to increased organizational commitment. In particular, it was confirmed that extrinsic value is relatively more influential on job satisfaction and organizational commitment compared with inherent value. This indicates the importance of improving extrinsic value, such as material compensation and job stability, as well as inherent value, such as confidence and pride about the job, for increasing job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

Occupational advice from vocational counselors for adults who stutter and associated factors (직업상담사의 말더듬 성인에 대한 직업 추천 양상과 관련 요인 분석)

  • This study aimed to primarily examine perceptions about occupational suitability made by vocational counselors for adults who stutter and associated factors. A total of 69 vocational counsellors (23 per condition) took part in this study and were randomly assigned to recordings related to three different speech conditions (fluent, less-severe stuttering, and severe stuttering versions). The participants were asked to listen to one of the three recordings and rate the speaker's communicative functioning, personal attributes, and suitability for 31 occupations, along with perceptions of the speaking demands and educational requirements of the occupations. Regarding the two stuttering conditions, it was found that suitability ratings were lower for occupations with a high speaking demand than those with a low speaking demand. In addition, the most significant factor associated with occupational suitability ratings was perceived speaking demands, followed by perceived educational requirements, and then by ratings of the speaker's personal attributes. These findings suggest that adults who stutter may face role entrapment (or occupational stereotyping) in workplace settings.

The Effect of Job Stress on Job Intention of Vocational Counselors : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Job Satisfaction (직업상담사의 직무스트레스가 이직의도에 미치는 영향 : 직무만족의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the impact of job stress on job turnover intention through job satisfaction for vocational counselors working in private and employment centers in Korea. This study applied the significance sampling method, and the number of samples used in the maximum analysis was 167 copies, and statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS 20.0 program. In order to verify the relationship between each variable, four hypotheses were established, and empirical analysis and surveys were conducted. As a result of the analysis, first, among the sub-factors of job stress of vocational counselors, job demands, organizational systems, and workplace culture had a significant positive (+) effect on turnover intention. Second, among the sub-factors of job stress, job demand, lack of job autonomy, and organizational system were found to have a significant negative (-) effect on job satisfaction. Third, job satisfaction was found to have a significant negative (-) effect on turnover intention. Fourth, it was found that job satisfaction partially mediates complete mediation with job factors, which are sub-factors of job stress, with the organizational system. Therefore, it can be seen that job stress of vocational counselors is a factor affecting turnover intention and job satisfaction. Based on these analysis results, the implications of the study, suggestions to reduce the intention to change jobs due to stress of vocational counselors, and limitations of the study were presented.

An Investigation on the Future Recognition of Career Counselors and their Future Competency and Future Adaptability change by using the Future Workshop (미래워크숍을 활용한 진로직업상담가의 미래인식과 미래역량 및 미래적응력 변화 탐색)

  • This investigation was conducted to derive future recognition and future competency of career counselors using future workshops and to verify the effectiveness of improving future adaptability. For this purpose, the future workshop was conducted for 25 career counselors and the data written and the discussion contents of the future workshop were analyzed. For analysis, word frequency analysis and corresponding sample T-verification were conducted, and the main words were derived through consensus. The results, First, the keywords of future recognition showed high frequency of robot, artificial intelligence, leisure, education, convenience, and the disabled. Second, the future labor sites projected the most changes due to high technology. Third, at the career counseling site, professional career counselors and robot counselors related to the fourth industrial revolution are expected to appear. Fourth, future competencies of career counselors were derived from information processing ability, professional counseling ability, communication ability, and ethical consciousness. Finally, it was confirmed that the future adaptability of career counselors increases after participating in future workshops, and the future competencies derived from this study are expected to be used for job training of career counselors.

Textmining-Based Analysis for Duty and Knowledge structure of Vocational Counseling Service Industry (텍스트마이닝 기법을 통한 직업상담서비스산업의 직무 및 지식구조 분석)

  • This study attempts to analyze the structure of the knowledge and duties of the vocational counseling service industry by using the text mining method and network analysis, which are methods of big data analysis. The subjects of the survey were vocational counseling, job placement and career change support, three fields in the unit elements of competence included in the National Competency Standards (NCS) which areproposed by the government. Although the analysis results of frequently used words showed that all three fields had independent duties, many were overlapping, such as counseling, examination, employment support, etc. for clients, job seekers, and others. The knowledge required by the employees of this field includes many new fields, such as start-up development, lifelong career consulting, job adaptation and culture conflict, besides the five subjects of vocational psychology, vocational counseling, labor market, job information, and law, which are included in the vocational counselor certification examination. Also, we suggested that the consultants adhere to emotional approaches, such as empathy, acceptance and attentiveness, and take a neutral stance. This study isvaluable in that it is the first attempt to objectively analyze the duties of the vocational counseling service field by big data analysis. In addition, it is also meaningful that we first confirmed the difference between the direction of government policy and the actual practice in the field.

The Story of Two Women's Career Transition as a Counselor (두 여성의 상담자로의 진로전환 경험이야기)

  • This study examined the experiences and meanings of career transition becoming a counselor by examining the experiences of career transition process before two women became counselors through the narrative inquiry method. To do this, two counselors with career counseling qualifications and two or more career transition experiences were selected as research participants. The results are as follows. First, they had several career experiences without having the opportunity to think about their interests or aptitudes. Second, it was an experience that career transition adapts itself. Third, as they went through various occupations, they gradually went to the work and study they wanted. Fourth, They were satisfied with the profession of the counselor they had chosen, and they were inspecting themselves as a counselor. In this study, it is meaningful to accept the career transition as a part of life and to confirm the meaning of career transition experience as a counselor walking the path of counseling specialist.

The Qualitative Study on the Counseling Psychology Major Recognition of University Students (대학생들의 상담심리학 전공 인식에 관한 질적 연구)

  • This study used Glaser's grounded theory method for the recognition of college students' majors in counseling psychology. Among the 3rd and 4th grade students majoring in counseling psychology, 19 students participated in the study, focusing on them for 5 months and collecting data through individual interviews. As a result of analyzing the data, 103 concepts, 26 subcategories, 9 upper categories, and 1 core category were derived. As a result of the study, first, the participants wanted to relieve the burden of people's hearts and had the hope of becoming a healer. Second, among the participants, in terms of their personality and aptitude for their major field, they perceived it as joy and satisfaction, such as 'It fits well with the major,' 'I made a good choice,' and 'It became a turning point in life.' However, they also recognized the incompatibility of the major, such as disharmony of aptitude, burden of the role of counselor, and rejection of major. Third, although participants showed usefulness in their major learning, their perception of the career path in their major was acting as anxiety and conflict, but their concerns and conflicts resulted in financial difficulties, poor job conditions, and emotional exhaustion caused by long-term study. The burden of job, fear of counseling job, limit of undergraduate graduation, uncertainty of career, etc. acted as an obstacle in choosing a major career. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the interview data of the participants, a core category called' understanding and growth and the will of the counselor to realize the dream' was derived. In conclusion, the participant's perception of their major is the change and growth of themselves, the formation of a healthy relationship with others, and satisfaction with the suitability of their major and their aptitudes. It turned out to have a lasting will to do.

Exploratory Research on the Linkage between Lifelong Education for People with Disabilities and Vocational Rehabilitation under the Lifelong Education Act Revised (「평생교육법」 개정에 따른 장애인평생교육과 직업재활 연계방안)

  • This article tried to understand roles of lifelong education for people with disabilities among revised lifelong education act and to search how rehabilitation counselor attend to the area of lifelong education for people with disabilities and connect. And this article reviewed literatures on significance of act revision and carried out FGI with seven experts. The result was as follows as. First, responsibility of nation on lifelong education for people with disabilities was emphasized after act revision and was extended. Second, the roles of national lifelong educational promotion center for people with disabilities was reinforced and extended possibility of attendance and connection. Third, the result of deep interview between experts appeared as necessity of reestablishment about concept. lifelong education support necessity by disability area, restructure and support of work and methods exploration for coexistence. In conclusion, the methods for coexistence are need because vocational rehabilitation and lifelong education for people with disabilities are essential for adults with disabilities.
