The subjects were 164 kindergarten teachers in the Metropolitan area in South Korea. We measured subjects' job stress, emotional labor, and job satisfaction using the self-reporting questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation analyses, and analysis of multiple regression using SPSS 22.0. In the procedure of data analyses, while the total scores were used for job stress and job satisfaction, each score of sub-factors (natural acting, deep acting, and pretending acting) were used for emotional labor. Consequently, kindergarten teachers' job stress and pretending acting showed significantly negative correlations with job satisfaction, but natural acting had significantly positive correlation with it. In addition, kindergarten teachers' job stress and pretending acting had significantly negative effects on their job satisfaction, and natural acting had significantly positive effect on it.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the reliability and the validity of the Korean Occupational Stress Scale(KOSS) in occupational therapists. The data were collected from 214 occupational therapists by using the Korean Occupational Stress Scale. The gathered data were conducted the factor analyses and validation process to ascertain the validity. The results of this study suggested that to estimate occupational stress of occupational therapist, modified version of the KOSS which was consist of eight subscales might be more an appropriate measurement scale than the original version of the KOSS which was composed of seven subscales. Eight subscales of the scale were occupational climate, organizational system, insufficient job control, lack of reward, job demand, interpersonal conflict, job ability and job insecurity, and out of these, job ability was newly added for occupational therapist. Also the results indicated that Cronbach's alpha score of this measurement tool was 0.84, and it means that internal consistency of this scale has good reliability, and the number of questions are also valid. This study has significance to suggest necessary psychometric characteristics of the occupational stress scale for job stress study in occupational therapist.
Most of previous studies on civil servants' stress factors and job satisfaction have been focused on low job satisfaction caused by stress from role relations and human relations. In case of fire officers, however, their stress is expected to be influenced by their unique job characteristics such as risk, urgency, stand-by, and shift. Thus, this study divided fire officers'stress factors into job-related factors (risk, urgency, stand-by, alternation) and role-related factors (role conflict, role ambiguity, role overload), and empirically analyzed how these factors affect their job satisfaction. According to the results of this study, fire officers' job characteristics and their roles in the organization had a significant effect on their job satisfaction. Particularly, among the job-related factors, urgency and stand-by had a positive effect on job satisfaction, and among role-related factors, role conflict and role overload had a negative effect on job satisfaction. In addition, fire officers' stress and job satisfaction were significantly different according to their job (fire fighting, rescue and first aid, fire administration, others), and according to their workplace (fire fighting headquarters, fire station, 119 safety center).

The purpose of this study is to understand the influence factors of job stress and resilience to recovery in an organization on job satisfaction and immersion in the organization. For this reason, we developed a questionnaire scale based on previous research, and conducted a questionnaire survey of the sales staff of company S. As a result of the analysis, it was found that job stress had a significant effect on job satisfaction, and job stress had a significant effect on recovery elasticity. It was shown that recovery elasticity affects job satisfaction and organizational immersion, and that job satisfaction affects organizational immersion, but the hypothesis that job stress has a significant effect on organizational immersion was rejected. In addition, it was found that recovery elasticity mediates the relationship between job stress, job satisfaction, and organizational immersion. The results of this study are expected to be used as guidelines for various practical plans that can improve the resilience of recovery as well as stress management of organizational members in the organization.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of job stress of hair designers on flourishing, and to verify whether work engagement and career commitment have dual mediating effects. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 177 hair designers of various positions who are engaged in domestic B brand, and the relationships of variables was verified using statistical package SPSS 21.0 and SPSS Process Macro v. 3.3. The research model of dual mediating effect was demonstrated. First, it was confirmed that the job stress of the hair designer had a negative effect on the flourishing through the simple regression analysis. Second, job stress had a negative indirect effect on flourishing showing the dual mediating effect of work engagement and career commitment, and the direct effect of job stress of hair designers on flourishing turned out to be insignificant confirming a complete double mediating effect. These results means, job stress reduces successively job engagement, career commitment and finally harms the well-being of hair designer.
This study is aimed to investigate the relationship between job-related stressor, problem solving style and psychological distress and the effects of job-related stress and problem solving style on psychological distress of firefighters. The Job-related Stress Scale, Problem Solving Style Questionnaire, and the Symptom Checklist-Revised (SCL-90-R) were administered to 148 firefighters working in Seoul and Gyounggi. Correlation analysis revealed that job-related stress, problem-solving styles such as helplessness and problem-solving control correlated positively with psychological distress and that problem-solving confidence and approaching style correlated negatively with it. Multiple regression analysis showed that job-related negative cognition and emotion, helplessness and approaching style accounted for 43% of the variance in the psychological distress. Among problem-solving styles, helplessness had the highest predictive power for psychological distress. Self-reported helplessness is an important determinant of firefighters' reactions to problematic situations encountered in their job.
