A Development of Realtime Urban Flood Forecasting Service (도시하천의 실시간 홍수예측서비스 개발)

  • 급속한 도시화 및 지구온난화로 인한 집중호우로 홍수피해가 해마다 증가하고 있다. 홍수피해를 최소화하기 위하여 4대강 중심의 홍수예경보시스템이 구축되는 등 다양한 제도적 장치가 마련되고 있으나 중소하천이 분포되어 있는 도시유역에서의 홍수예측기능은 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 중소 도시하천에 적용 가능한 실시간 도시홍수예측서비스 시스템(Realtime Urban Flood Forecasting Service, U-FFS)을 개발하였다. 경기도 성남에 위치한 탄천을 대상유역으로 선정하고 실시간 강우 및 수위관측소를 설치하여 수문데이타를 수집하였으며 이를 바탕으로 수위예측모형을 구축하였다. 모형구축에는 이미 국내외 학계에서 그 정확도가 입증된 바 있는 Data-driven 모델의 일종인 ANFIS(Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System)를 이용하였다. 개발된 수위예측모형은 지정된 시간에 자동으로 작동 가능한 실행파일로 프로그래밍되어 최종적으로 홍수예측 웹서비스와 연동된다. U-FFS는 집중호우 발생 시 최종 유출구의 30분, 1시간, 2시간 후의 수위 예측값을 웹 상을 통해 제공함으로써 언제 어디서나 홍수예측 정보를 누구나 손쉽게 획득할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 시범운영 결과, 30분 및 1시간 후의 수위 예측은 정확도가 매우 뛰어났으며 2시간 후의 수위 예측의 정확성은 다소 떨어지는 것으로 확인되었으나 전반적인 홍수예측 판단에는 무리가 없을 것으로 예상된다. 본 시스템의 홍수예측모형은 생성 및 수정이 간편하여 그 활용성이 매우 높을 것으로 기대된다. 특히 안전함을 지향하는 각종 U-City나 홍수피해가 빈번한 도시유역에 적용하면 기존 시스템과 차별화된 실시간 홍수예측 서비스가 가능해져 홍수피해를 최소화할 수 있을 것이다. 취수구 직경 D의 3.3배를 벗어나지 않는다는 결과를 도출할 수 있었다.링 목적으로 사용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 영상수위계는 한강홍수통제소 관할의 전류, 청담대교 등 4개소 낙동강 홍수통제소 2개소, 지자체 등에 적용되었으며, 적용 결과 비교적 안정적이면서 정확하게 수위를 측정하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 기존 CCD 카메라 이외에 CCTV를 이용한 영상수위계를 개발하여 영상의 화질 개선뿐 아니라 하천화상 감시 기능을 강화하였다.소류의 섭취율은 높았다. 집단간의 상관도를 보면 교육별로 김치, 장아찌, 콩이 각각 p>0.5 수준에서 유의한 차가 없었고, 나머지는 유의한 차가 있었다. 연령별로는 멸치가 유의한 차가 없었고(p>0.5), 수입별로는 콩이 유의한 차가 없었다(p>0.5). 4. 영양지식(營養知識) 검토 가정생활(家庭生活)에 필요(必要)한 일반적(一般的)인 영양지식(營養知識)은 대체적으로 낮은 편이었다. 어린이 영양, 편식의 해로움, 비만증의 해로움, 임신부 그리고 수유부 영양에 대하여는 일반적으로 알고 있다고 하였으며, 그다음으로 이유기 영양, 어린이 발육에 필요한 식품, 식품과 영양소와의 관계, 우유의 성분, 노인영양에 대하여 잘 알고 있는 비율이 낮았으며, 인체의 영양소, 식단작성여부, 간식의 이론, 식품감별법에 대하여는 가장 낮은 비율을 나타냈다. 각 영양지식은 교육정도가 높을수록 영양지식이 높았고, 교육별 집단간의 유의한 차가 나타났다. Factors and Categorization of Perception toward Social Capital for Korean Older Adults (한국 노년층의 사회자본에 대한 인식 유형화 및 영향요인)

  • Korea is proceeding to aging society at much faster pace than other countries. To alleviate various problems (health, environment, social relationships, psychology and emotion, and financial problems) of the elderly caused by aging society, there has been increasing attention to social capital. This study investigated types of ways that the elderly at individual level are aware of social capital and the characteristic. In addition, factors that influence the types were studied. Data from 1060 elderly with the age of 65 and older were collected in Korea. Excluding missing data on variables used in the study, data of 960 elderly were used for analyses. K-mean cluster analysis was conducted to investigate types of elderly awareness on social capital at individual level. Multinominal logistic regression was used to find out factors of the types. K-mean cluster analysis resulted in three types of awareness on social capital among the elderly: (1) potential of social capital; (2) severance of social capital; and (3) wealth of social capital. Multinominal logistic regression resulted in that compared to potential of social capital type, when the elderly were younger, inclination of politics was more progressive, they did not have religion, they did not reside in rural, and they did not live in multiplex housing, the elderly were more likely to be in severance of social capital type. Also, when the elderly were women, had higher education and standard of living, were Christian, and did not reside in rural regions. they tended to be in wealth of social capital type. Based on the study results about awareness on social capital among the elderly and factors related to the awareness types, practical and political suggestions that promote social capital to solve problems of the elderly were provided.

Study on the Importance and Performance of Food & Beverage Festival Attributes Using IPA (IPA를 활용한 식음료 축제속성의 중요도와 성취도 연구)

  • This study examined the differences of importance and performance perception level among the food & beverage festival attributes of visitors participating 'Daegu Chimac Festival' and also conducted importance-performance analysis (IPA) of food & beverage festival Attributes. The results were as follows: firstly, food & beverage festival attributes were grouped into four factors such as 'sanitation environment', 'food taste and variety', 'food quality and supplementary service' and 'food purchase convenient.' Secondly, the 4 factors and 21 items of festival attributes showed statistically significant differences in their levels of importance and performance. Finally, results of the questionnaire survey of 322 visitors at '2018 Daegu Chimac Festival' indicated that 'food purchase convenient' and 'food taste and variety' were important to visitors and had high performance. Although attributes related to 'food quality and supplementary service' had an low importance and low performance, and also 'sanitation environment' had an low importance and high performance in the IPA results, they were identified as the key determinants affecting food & beverage festival' success.

A Study on the trend of change in the number of elementary school students in Korea (우리나라 초등학교 학생수 변화 패턴에 대한 조사 연구)

  • The results of research and analysis are as follows: First, there were 108 types of change patterns in the number of elementary school students. Second, based on the similarity of 108 types of change patterns in the number of students, a type system diagram was presented. Third, in the case of a total of 18 types of change patterns in the number of students, the number of students decreased significantly due to the establishment of additional schools on top of the existing schools. The result of a a long-term survey and analysis on the trend of increase and decrease in the number of students across the country shows an urgent need todevelop policy tasks across the entire school accommodation plan, such as the establishment of differentiated schools suitable for regional characteristics, relocation, consolidation, reorganization of school districts, remodeling, and appropriatization projects.

A Comparative Analysis of Packaging Design of Solar Salts Produced in Korea and Japan (국내산 및 일본산 천일염의 패키징 디자인 비교 분석)

  • Packaging of solar salts produced in Korea and Japan were evaluated and compared each other in terms of packaging design such as package types, colors and graphics. The standing pouch type in plastic film was most popular for the Korean salts regardless of the package capacity. But the same type was common only for the lower package capacity of 300 g or less while the plastic film pouch was prevalent for the higher capacity for the Japanese salts. White and brown were dominant colors for the Korean solar salts reminding us of salt farms and the foreshore respectively and strengthening its color identity. White, blue and red were used for the dominant, assort and accent colors respectively for the Japanese salt packaging. Salt farmers and the foreshore are often represented as the main package graphics for the Korean solar salts while the wave symbolising the sea was found frequently for the Japanese ones. The word of 'Shinan' was involved the most in the brand names of the Korean salts and the sea was appeared very often in those of the Japanese ones.

The Place Occupation and the Marginalization Discourse of Migrants: the Case of Chinese Food Culture Street in Jayang-dong in Seoul (이주자의 장소 점유와 주변화 담론 연구 -서울 자양동 중국음식문화거리를 사례로-)

  • One of the most interesting points in the era of globalization and transnationalism is the movement of people, namely migration. This research aims to explain the discourse of marginalization on Korean-Chinese by Korean merchants as the migrants expand their shops in the Chinese Food Culture Street. The Chinese Food Culture Street has been formed by Korean-Chinese restaurants and shops for the process of differentiation from the Garibong-Daelim area. Korean merchants in the street are not opposed to the influx of Korean-Chinese into Korea, however they do not want to the influx of them into the Jayang area. As the influx of Korean-Chinese into this street has increased, so the Korean merchants in the street have marginalized them as dangerous element for local security, as immoral beings cling to their business, and as the main reason for the regional underdevelopment. However, this marginalization of Korean-Chinese makes difficult to understand the real change of local area, because there has been some positive effects by the influx of them such as the improvement of surrounding environment and the elevation of local imagination. This research clearly suggest that the marginalization of migrants by major society is from the fixed idea and prejudice, and this research suggest the need to further study on the occupation and change of local by migrants.

Analysis on the Impact of Corporate Succession and Old Companies on the Local Economy (기업승계와 장수기업이 지역경제에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The average age of CEOs of the small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) in Korea is 58.8, and discussions are actively underway regarding the support towards the succession companies. Government authorities are also operating a system to support the succession companies, and recently global support is also being demanded. In order to have justification over the support for succession companies, the fact that it greatly contributes to the revitalization of the national economy and the regional economy must be acknowledged in advance. This study analyzed the degree of corporate succession revitalization of the national and regional economy through statistical and empirical analysis. With the purpose to secure the reliability of the analysis, the study has referred to the database of the "Integrated Management System for Small Business Recruitment Project" and the Korea Enterprise Data (KED), which can be the most differentiated aspect compared to the existing research of the past. According to the analysis, it shows that the old companies' performance is significantly higher than the general companies in terms of sales, number of employees, assets, and operating profits⋯etc. The management performance of the old companies (which lasted over 30 years) more than doubles the performance of the start-ups (with less than 10 years of experience) in sales, triples the number of employees, doubles the assets, and more than doubles the operating profit. Thus, it is seen that the contribution to the overall economy is significant. Additionally, as a result of the empirical analysis of the relationship between the regional old companies and the regional economic revitalization, the non-metropolitan area shows better performance than the metropolitan area in terms of the number of employees, assets, borrowings, and rent, which entails policy implications of the polarization between the metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas. In other words, it is found that old companies make a significant contribution to revitalizing the local economy, suggesting that further policies regarding corporate succession are required to support the old companies in the future.

  • The rapid innovation of information and communication technology and its sharp falling prices have brought about the expansion of the Internet, integrating the world as one space under converged space and time. This rapid expansion of the Internet and its application in the economy have spurred the emergence of the digital economy. The Internet has influenced strongly on the changes of not only economic activities but also political, social and cultural activities. In this context, a rapidly increasing Internet expansion renders the rhetoric about the death of distance and about the meaningless of geographical place. However, the development and expansion of Internet induces a growing digital divide among nations and also a spatial inequality in a nation as the supply of the Internet has concentrated towards demand-affluent large cities. A large gap of digital access has been occurred between high income and low income countries according to a measurement of the international digital access index. In a national level, the Internet backbone has been built around large cities which favor a large amount of the Internet demand, and the affordable accessibility of these cities for the Internet services has influenced strongly on the agglomeration of Internet related industries, further inducing the construction and investment of the Internet backbone into large cities as cumulative causation effects. As a result, the expansion of the Internet affects immensely on the changes of spatial structure in a nation resulting in the new spatial phenomena such as centralization, concentration and splintering in the digitalized space-economy.

A Study on the Effect of the Importance of Selection Attributes for Chicken Specialty Store on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty : Focusing on Undergraduate and Graduate Students in Daejeon City (치킨 전문점의 선택속성 중요도가 고객만족 및 고객충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (대전지역 대학생.대학원생을 중심으로))

  • This study tried to know the effect of selection attributes for chicken specialty stores on customer satisfaction and loyalty. IPA analysis on relation between the attributes and the satisfaction showed that most quality-related product attributes such as 'the taste and quality of chicken', 'proper portion', and 'fresh ingredients' had high levels of perceived importance and satisfaction. It indicates that the stores need to keep the current good quality. On the other hand, customers showed lower levels of satisfaction in 'reasonable prices', 'quick delivery'(certainty factors), and 'kindness of employees', so that those attributes need improving. The hypothesis testing showed that supplementary product factors such as 'side dishes offered with chicken', 'use of neat and convenient wrapping package', and 'coupon offers' among the customer selection attributes had a significant impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Therefore, the owners of chicken specialty stores need to choose a reasonable price to make customers satisfied and shorten delivery time directly related to quality. Also, they need to differentiate their services by continuous employee training and education and provide additional services in order to enhance customer satisfaction for their repurchase.

Success Model Setting for Historical, Cultural Theme Park Development -With an Example of Korean Culture Theme Park- (역사·문화 테마파크 개발을 위한 성공모델 설정 -한국 문화 테마파크를 사례로-)

  • A theme park is a complex space, in which held is a performance & exhibition event created to make visitors feel fun and a deep impression through a certain theme. Recently, local governments are increasingly planning for theme parks with the aim of local economy revitalization. Accordingly, this paper set up a development model for a Korean culture theme park after deducting success factors for creating a successful theme park through the case of Korean culture theme park. To be concrete, this paper deducted the success factors through literature research and case research as follows: Setting of themes having identity and consistency; programs that can give fun and a deep impression; convenient support facilities reflecting customers' needs; differentiated marketing for progress in customer attraction power; location linked with cultural resources around a theme park and a space for communicating a message; privately-initiated project promotion and the main body of operation; target setting consequent on market segmentation, and demand forecast, etc. A theme park cannot be successfully operated to contribute to local economy revitalization until such success factors should be closely linked and harmonized with each other. In addition, in order for a theme park to make a continued growth, it's required that problems occurring at the operational stage should be endlessly improved, and contents strengthening should be continuously done in line with circumstances of the times and viewers' eye level.
