Comparing the Industrial Characteristics of Smart City in Korea and Spain (한국과 스페인의 스마트시티 산업 특성 비교)

  • The aim of this study is to compare and analyze structural characteristics of smart city industry focused on Korea and Spain. Structural characteristics of industries were compared focusing on share, penetration, impact path and network clustering of smart industries. Research data used input-output tables established by Korea and Spain in 1995 and 2015, and industries were reclassified into 8 and 25 industries. The analysis model is the Smart SPIN Model. The key finding as follows: It was analyzed that there are differences in the structure and characteristics of the smart city industry between Korea and Spain. Firstly, It is analyzed that Korea has a larger share and penetration rate of IT manufacturing than Spain. On the other hands, Spain has a higher share and penetration rate in the IT service and knowledge service sectors than Korea. Secondly, Korea had many production paths for the IT service and the knowledge service. On the other hands, Spain included more production paths in the IT manufacturing sector. Thirdly, as a result of network analysis, Korea's smart industry has a characteristic that it is difficult to develop independently because it is dependent on traditional industries. In Spain, most of the smart industries were included in one industrial cluster, and it was analyzed to have an independent form. In conclusion, It was found that Korea has the industrial characteristics of a smart city based on IT manufacturing. Spain has the characteristics of smart city industry based on IT service and knowledge service. The results of this study are expected to provide basic data on the direction of smart city promotion and the establishment of smart city policies in Korea.

  • 현대 공장에 있어서 생산성 향상의 주요 부분은 정보 처리의 효율향상에 있으며 정보처리 네트워크의 신경계가 되는 LAN의 구축은 더욱 중요성을 더해가고 있다. 구체적으로는 마이크로 컴퓨터 응용기계를 효율적으로 결합한 LAN의 코스트 퍼포먼스는 초대형이나 슈퍼 미니 컴퓨터를 주체로 하는 시스템에 육박하는, 또는 이것들을 능가하는 가능성을 가지는 것으로서 공장의 경쟁력에 직결한 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 이와 같은 배경하에 중소공장의 FA와 LAN에 초점을 맞추어 LAN을 이해하는데 있어서의 기초 기술부터 시스템의 구체적 구축방법, 도입사례에 대해서 해설해 나가기로 한다.

  • 거버넌스가 1990년대 이후 나타난 새로운 국정운영의 방식이라면, 디지털 행정은 21세기 지식기반행정의 핵심 수단이고 오늘날 정부개혁의 지향점이다. IT의 발달은 네트워크, DB등에 의해 정보수집, 이용, 관리, 배분 비용을 최소화하고 행정기관은 동일 정보를 각 기관마다 다시 반복 입력하는 불필요한 시간, 인력, 장비 이용을 줄임으로써, 또 고객은 그 대가로 대기시간, 행정의 생산성, 서비스의 질, 만족을 얻을 수 있어 공유에 따른 문제를 일시에 해결한다. 본 연구는 거버넌스 관점을 중심으로 행정정보공유의 의미와 행정서비스 제고방안을 분석한다.

  • This paper aims to clarify the change in industrial structure and industry itself, and makes suggestions for the industrial development direction at transitional periods in the Chungcheongbuk-do(province) region. Because profits of regional gross production in Chungcheongbuk-do region flow out of the region, basic industries must be brought up. For this phenomenon, main manufacturing must be developed for the industrial power of the next generation of high added values that combined with digital industry; the petrochemistry, semiconductor industry as major type of industry, and automobile industry as minor type of industry. Also for supporting industry, education service, health and welfare, research and development services that are knowledge-based service industries in Chungcheongbuk-do region, must be formated the network among corporations and constructed regional innovation system linked with educational institutions, precision chemistry industry and biology technology as major type of industry, and precision machinery and tools industry as minor type of industry.

  • It is necessary to develop a system to judge inferiority of goods to minimize the loss at small factories in which produces various kinds of goods with small amounts. That system can be developed based on HTM theory. HTM is a model to apply the operation principles of the neocortex in human brain to the machine learning. We have to build the trained HTM network to use the HTM-based machine learning system. It requires the knowledge for the HTM theory. This paper presents the design and implementation of the training system to support the development of HTM networks which recognize the molding parts to judge its badness. This training system allows field technicians to train the HTM network with high accuracy without the knowledge of the HTM theory. It also can be applied to any kind of the HTM-based judging systems for molding parts.

  • Abstract The purpose of this paper is to analyze production and innovation networks of manufacturers in the rural, long-live areas of Gangwon Jeju and to suggest an ideal regional development model of rural areas in the knowledge-based information age. For this purpose, we compared the areas of Gangwon Jeju with the long-live belt areas in the rural pan of the Honan region and Gwangju Jeonju, the urban part of Honam. The findings from the study are summarized as follows. Firstly, the stronger the local networks in terms of supply of the necessary input materials and labor, the more successful the manufacturing industry is in the given area. Secondly, the more diverse and lasting the networks (in terms of the location of manufacturers, local area and national area) and cooperation agents(businesses, research institutions, the local government, the central government) they have, the more prosperous the manufacturing industry is. These results indicate that the successful development model for rural areas requires that we take the approach of fostering potential innovation capabilities of total areas by fully utilizing their innate resources so as to create an internal cooperative network and further build extensive networks encompassing external entities to create a virtual innovation cluster.

  • 최근 유전체학, NGS(Next Generation Sequencing) 기술, IT/NT 장비의 발전 등에 따라 방대한 양의 바이오-메디컬 데이터가 생산되고, 이에 따라 빅데이터를 활용한 헬스케어 산업이 급속히 발달하고 있으며, 이와 관련된 빅데이터 기술은 국민의 건강 증대와 건강한 고령 삶을 제공하는 핵심 기술로 급부상하고 있다. 패스웨이는 단백질, 유전자, 세포 등의 생체적 요소 간의 역학관계 혹은 상호작용 등을 네트워크 형식으로 표현한 생물학적 심층지식으로, 바이오-메디컬 빅데이터 분석에 있어서 널리 활용되고 있다. 하지만 패스웨이는 매우 다양한 형태를 갖고 용량이 매우 큰 빅데이터로 이를 분석하는데 많은 시간이 소요된다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 세계적으로 가장 우수하고 방대한 양의 패스웨이를 제공하는 KEGG 패스웨이 데이터베이스로부터 사용자가 관심 갖는 패스웨이만을 자동 수집하고 패스웨이 간 계층구조를 기반으로 네트워크를 구성 후, 해당 패스웨이 네트워크에 대한 클러스터링과 핵심 패스웨이 선정을 통해 패스웨이 간의 역학관계 또는 상호작용을 직관적으로 분석할 수 시스템을 제안했다.

  • Co-Authorship analysis is a kind of bibliometric analysis. and a well established tool for character of knowledge network in some technical fields. If more than two authors co-author an article, there is a relation of knowledge. So This study aims at discovering the trends and phases of OLED technology using co-authorship analysis, a kind of bibliographic analysis. The Science Citation Index Expanded(SCIE) database was used to search for the number of times paired Korean articles were co-authored in OLED field.

  • On global interconnectivity, the activation of real-time and worldwide contents will permeate and impact all aspects of day-to-day life well throughout this century. In managing contents and models, we too will see the impact of this rapidly changing environment. The real time availability of contents pertaining to a companys supply chain through means of the Internet and mobile networks(e.g., the IMT-2000) will necessitate a change in decision-making processes for effective management of contents and models. To increase the availability of many contents and models, a management system should have adaptive function in proving adequate content and model for companies. In the respect of management of contents and models, this paper discusses a production mechanism of meta-knowledge for effectively managing contents and models. Through two experimental analyses with the production mechanism, it is proven that the system enabling adaptive contents and models provision goes beyond existing ones in view of efficiency of management of contents and models in the wire and wireless networks.

  • Accurately Diagnosing and managing disease in livestock can help sustainable livestock productivity and maintain human health. Maintaining the health of livestock is an important part of human health. The prediction of calf diseases is carried out by pre-processing the calf biometric data. calf information is used as information for calf birth history, calf biometric information, environmental information on housing, and disease management. It can be developed as an ontology and used as a knowledge base. The Bayesian network was used and inferred in the process of analyzing the correlations of calf diseases. Prediction of diseases based on knowledge of calf disease on calf diseases name, causes, occur timing, care and symptoms, etc., will be able to respond to accurate disease treatment and prevent other livestock from being infected in advance.
