Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze data from the Ministry of Health, Safety and Health and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the total number of deaths (disease + accidents) reached 2,020 in 2019 and the estimated economic loss was 27.6 trillion won. This is believed to be the time to present improvements to ensure that economic loss estimates are steadily increasing as in Table 1, and that government-level losses can be drastically reduced. Method: In this study, factors were selected through prior research, and reliability analysis, technical statistics and correlation analysis, and multi-term analysis were conducted through the Jamovi program for the analysis of results. Result: Multiple session analysis was conducted to verify the research theory indicated in this study, and the analysis showed that mechanical and management factors did not affect the fall death accident of the opening, and human factors, material and environmental factors had a static effect. In addition, mechanical and administrative factors do not affect the fall of the outer wall, and human and material and environmental factors have a static effect. Conclusion:: As a result of analyzing 450 falling deaths over the past 13 years among the data posted to the Korea Health and Safety Corporation, the most common causes of falling deaths were the openings and outer walls.
Maker culture in Korea began to receive public attention after the 2012 Maker Fair Seoul. Central and local governments took note of this trend and subsumed makers' culture into its policy domains such as Creative Industry, Creative Cities, 4th Industrial Revolution, and the all-encompassing Creative Economy. Creative Economy was a public policy discourse formed in the public sector for the purpose of overcoming economic depression and revitalizing the economy. Under Creative Industry and Creative Economy, creativity and culture/arts are deemed indispensable but at the same time objectified and alienated as their ultimate value are recognized only as the basis for economic production. In this article, makers' culture itself goes through the same process of objectification and alienation that creativity and culture/arts suffered as the relevant policies were pursued under Creative Economy. The authors attempted to corroborate this through the case of Makercity Sewoon, and found that the Seoul City's urban development plan surrounding Sewoon Plaza proceeded in a direction destructive to the local technological ecosystem and therefore conflicts with the pronounced goal of leading 4th Industrial Revolution by encouraging and nurturing makers' culture. Makercity Sewoon, although packaged in a discourse of Creative Economy and Creative City, betrayed the same problem of alienating arts/culture and labor that the previous discourse showed.
This study was conducted to empirically analyze the effect of life behavior and socio-environmental satisfaction on life satisfaction of the elderly with or without hearing loss. To this end, 3,071 elderly people of 「the Survey on the Actual Condition of the Elderly」 in 2020 were set as the subjects. After controlling for their demographic variables, the multiple regression model showed that the elderly with hearing loss had different factors of life behavior and socio-environment satisfaction that affected their life satisfaction compared to those without. As a result, the sub-factors of life behavior in the elderly with hearing loss, such as economic activities, social group activities, the use of the center, and the sub-factors of social environment satisfaction, such as family satisfaction and environmental satisfaction, had a positive (+) effect on life satisfaction. Especially, the elderly with hearing loss had more limitations in both the area of living behavior and the area of social environment satisfaction than the elderly without hearing loss. Therefore, in order to improve the life satisfaction of the elderly with hearing loss, it is suggested that the government and local governments should simultaneously supplement welfare policies and facilities for the elderly with hearing loss.

In Korea, youth participation in economic activities and unemployment appear at the same time, which is a more serious problem, so a study on the labor market movement can be viewed as a study to overcome youth unemployment. The purpose of this study is to examine how labor movement between the employed and the unemployed is progressing through the survey data of the youth panel among the employment panel and to identify the factors affecting the movement path and movement of the employed and the unemployed. In the case of the employed, they possessed professional qualifications, and in the case of unstable occupational status, they attempted to move to a stable position after being employed. In the case of the unemployed, the probability of failing to find a job was higher as they had no job search experience, the longer the job search period, and the less effort they made. The fact that the home environment directly or indirectly influences the movement of the labor market remains unchanged. On the other hand, the higher the educational level, the more stable, and the most stable the metropolitan area. Therefore, more urgently than ever, a plan to revitalize the local labor market through the organic relationship between the government, local governments, local industry, and local universities and balanced regional development should be sought.
In 1749, during an incident near the Tumen River in Hunchun, six people, all Qing ginseng pickers, were killed by seven Korean soldiers from the Chosŏn garrison. The Chosŏn soldiers encountered the ginseng pickers on the border and agreed to exchange goods, but when they failed to receive the proper price for rice, the soldiers became angry and decided to attack the Qing ginseng pickers. The seven Korean criminals were executed a year and a half after the incident. The whole process regarding the arrest and investigation of the criminals, as well as the official exchanges between the Qing and Chosŏn governments, were recorded in detail in the Chosŏn document written in Chinese and the Qing documents written in Manchu. In dealing with this murder case, the Qing local officials focused on identifying the murdered victims, clarifying the victims' responsibilities, and disposing of their remaining belongings. On the other hand, the Chosŏn government focused on providing reports quickly to the Qing officials about the investigation of the criminals. In doing so, it tried to reduce the risk of any possible problems that the murder case on the border could cause in its relations with the Qing government. The relevant records on this murder case show various aspects of the Qing and Chosŏn relations, including the contacts between the people along the Tumen River, border trespassing, material exchanges, rules about ginseng picking, and border patrols. This case also reveals that the Qing and Chosŏn people from various classes had different relationships depending on their respective interests.
The present study explored Korean parents' perceptions of and behavior toward game use among teenagers in Korea. A total of 600 Korean mothers of teenagers residing in Seoul and five other metropolitan areas participated in the survey. The survey was constructed based on five categories of variables, including the overall perception of games and game use, specific attitudes toward game use, cognitions about and attitudes toward game addiction, factors predicting parental monitoring of children's game use, and views and opinions about what needs to be done to promote healthy game cultures as well as to prevent problematic game use among teenagers in Korea. Results indicate that the respondents' overall perceptions of and attitudes toward games and game use are negative. In contrast, attitudes toward game use of the respondent's own child are contingent upon various comparison standards. Results also indicate that the respondents tend to overestimate the possibility that their own child is addicted to games, and their perceptions of game addiction are based on a narrow range of behavioral symptoms. Additional analyses indicate that parental monitoring of teenagers' game use can be predicted by the theoretical model driven from Ajzen(1991)'s theory of planned behavior. Finally, results also indicate that, in order to deal with the problems associated with teenagers' game use, proactive approaches to promote healthy game cultures as well as various initiatives to prevent problematic game use are necessary. Implications of the findings and future direction were discussed.
Currently, the domestic traditional market has not escaped the swamp of stagnation that began in the early 2000s despite various projects promoted by many related players such as the central government and local governments. In order to overcome the crisis faced by the traditional market, various R&Ds have recently been conducted on how to build a smart traditional market that combines information and communication technologies such as big data analysis, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. This study analyzes various previous studies, users of traditional markets, and application cases of ICT technology in foreign traditional markets since 2012 and proposes a model to build a smart traditional market using ICT technology based on the analysis. The model proposed in this study includes building a traditional market metaverse that can interact with visitors, certifying visits to traditional markets through digital signage with NFC technology, improving accuracy of fire detection functions using IoT and AI technology, developing smartphone apps for market launch information and event notification, and an e-commerce system. If a smart traditional market platform is implemented and operated based on the smart traditional market platform model presented in this study, it will not only draw interest in the traditional market to MZ generation and foreigners, but also contribute to revitalizing the traditional market in the future.

According to data from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in 2019, the global average temperature between 2015 and 2019 increased by 1.1℃ compared to the pre-industrial period (1850-1900). If the average temperature rises by 1.5℃, the occurrence of natural disasters such as extreme high temperatures, heavy rains and droughts will increase, and this change will intensify depending on the speed and size of warming. Due to the effects of global warming, global surface temperatures have gradually risen, and tropical fruits, which could only be grown in tropical regions, can be seen in Korea. According to the 5th report released by the IPCC of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change under the United Nations, the world's average temperature will rise 3.7 degrees Celsius at the end of the 21st century (2081-2100). If the temperature rises gradually, it is believed that Korea's current cultivation area, which can produce good quality fruit, could be turned into an unfavorable area in the future. This paper aims to develop a plant cultivation system that utilizes Arduino to provide a customized environment for the growth of plants desired by growers.

Recently, the third mission as the new role of the university is being emphasized as contributing to the local community through active participation in local and regional problems as well as an economic contribution as an entrepreneurial university. Thus, overseas universities started various university-industry collaboration activities targeting sustainable development based on local community and improve their roles for regional regeneration and innovation. Universities in Korea also tend to set up a cooperative governance with various agents in the local community via university financial support projects by the government and started to promote the university-industry collaboration project for solving the problem of the local community. Therefore, this research tries to find implications in order to expand the role and responsibility as local university and reinforce substantiality and enhancement of university-industry collaboration through a case analysis of university-industry collaboration to solve the problem in local communities in foreign countries. In order to solve the problem of local communities based on local agents-led small-sized projects, it is requested to improve the more active role of the university, local governments and university students.

An initial local government center received direct asking from citizens, wrote the documents by hand, and issued them. Later the appearance of computers, printers, and faxes made it possible to handle civil complaints through copying. Since 2010, as the e-government has started, entering civil service requests into computers after identification by themselves and printing the results has become established. In addition, with the introduction of unmanned administrative services, civil services become available in various places, which causes the increased satisfaction of citizens. One of the services is an unmanned civil service issuing machine, and more than 20 kinds of documents, including a copy of resident registration, can be issued directly. Of course, additional help may be needed if citizens are not familiar with the latest technologies. However, the unmanned civil service issuing machine is a highly satisfactory way in that it is less time-limited as citizens can visit a community center or city hall after the end of work. However, the main problem is that resident registration numbers and fingerprint recognition are required depending on the type of issuance, which increases the inconvenience of handling citizen complaints and is shunned. To solve this problem, we aim to study a method for improving the fingerprint recognition method of unmanned civil service issuing machines by expanding personal identification.
