Grounding Characteristics Analysis of the Stainless-steel Plate Grounding Electrode for Distribution Poles (배전전주용 스테인리스강판 접지전극의 접지 특성분석)

  • Grounding system insures a reference potential point for electric devices and also provides a low impedance path for fault currents or transient currents in the earth. The ground impedance as function of frequency is necessary for determining its performance since fault currents could contain a wide range of frequencies. In this paper, the grounding resistance, grounding impedance and transient grounding impedance are measured by using 3-point fall-of-potential method in order to analyse grounding characteristics of the stainless-steel plate grounding electrode. An equivalent transfer function model of the grounding impedance and transient grounding impedance are identified from the measured values by using ARMA method and evaluated by comparing conventional grounding impedances.

  • 헬리콥터, 팬, 프로펠러, 터이빈같이 회전익에서 유체역학적 소음이 발생하는 장치의 설계에 있어서는 공기 역학적 성능 분석과 함께 소음에 대한 해석이 절대적으로 필요하다. 근래에 들어와서 소음에 대한 관심이 급격히 증가하고 공항 주변에서의 국제적인 규약들은 낮은 소음 수준(low noise level)을 규정하고 있으며, 이에 따라서 소음을 감소시키려는 연구가 매우 활발히 진행되고 있는 실정이다. 더욱이 컴퓨터의 냉각 팬을 비롯한 공조기기 및 산업기기에 사용되는 회전기계에서 발생되는 소음의 저감은 보다 더 쾌적한 환경을 요구하는 사회적 요구에 부합하면서 공력소음의 연구 분야가 더 넓어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소음예측 방법중의 하나인 음향상사(acoustic analogy)를 주파수 영역 방법(frequency domain method)을 이용하여 헬리콥터 블레이드의 고속 충격소음(High Speed Impulsive Noise)을 해석한다. 고속 충격소음은 블레이드-와류 상호작용 소음과 더불어 헬리콥터의 지배적인 소음원으로서 깃끝 속도가 큰 전진 수평비행(forward level flight)또는 제자리 비행(hovering flight)시 발생하는 소음으로 블레이드의 깃끝 마하수(critical Mach number)보다 크거나 비슷할 경우 충격파의 교란에 의해서 일어나는 충격적인 소음을 말한다. 고속 충격소음은 고주파수 스펙트럼 성분과 큰 소음강도를 가지고 있기 때문에 날카로운 금속성의 소리를 내며 먼 거리까지 전파되는 특징을 가지고 있다.

Internal Tidal Oscillations of Temperature off Jukbyun on the East Coast of Korea (동해 죽변 연안해역에서 조석주기의 내부수온변동)

  • Internal temperature oscillations of tidal periods were studied using data observed by a thermistor chain in summer of 1980 off Jukbyun on the mid-east coast of korea. The vertical stratification was well established during the observation period. The spectral energy was found to be predominant in the semidiurnal tidal band and its energy increased with depth with maximum near the bottom. The coherence in the semidiurnal band between different depths is high with a small phase difference. The results suggest the existence of the internal tide of semidiurnal period. The amplitude of internal tide was of the order of 10 m and the largest just before the disappearance of the internal tide signal.

  • A microwave free electron laser which consists of Marx generator, vacuum diode, bifilar helical wiggler, and guide solenoid was designed and constructed. The analysis of the magnetic field distributions of the bifilar helical wiggler and computer simulation of electron trajectories with the perpendicular effect of space charges led to the conclusion that the magnetic field distributions are suitable for the electron beam injection. Increment Method of Radar Range using Noise Reduction (잡음 감소 기법을 활용한 레이다의 최대 거리 향상 기법)

  • This paper proposes a method to improve the detectable distance by reducing noise to perform a signal processing technique on the received signals. To increase the radar detection range, the noise component of the received signal has to be reduced. The proposed method reduces the noise component by employing two methods. First, the radar signals received with multiple pulses are accumulated. As the number of additions increases, the noise component gradually decreases due to noise randomness. On the other hand, the signal term gradually increases and thus signal to noise ratio increases. Secondly, after converting the accumulated signal into the frequency spectrum, a Least Mean Square (LMS) filter is applied. In the case of the radar received signal, desired signal exists in a specific part and most of the rest is a noise. Therefore, if the LMS filter is applied in the time domain, the noise increases. To prevent this, the LMS filter is applied after converting the received signal into the entire frequency spectrum. The LMS filter output is then transformed into the time domain and then range estimation algorithm is performed. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme reduces the noise component by about 25 dB. The experiment was conducted by comparing the proposed results with the conventional results of the radars held by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute for the international space station.

Analysis of W-CDMA systems with different bandwidths over JTC channel model (JTC 채널 모델에서 W-CDMA의 대역폭에 따른 성능 분석)

  • Conventionally, in a CDMA system analysis, we assume only a single path within one chip duration. But, in this paper, we assume various number of multipaths within one chip duration according to spreading bandwidth in fixed channel model. Thus we take into account of the effects of autocorrelation and relative phases among multipath components within one chip duration according to different bandwidth, and analyze fading effects. And we derive the pdf of output signal. Then, we derive the average error probability versus the number of users from derived pdf. We use a Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) RAKE receiver under the JTC channel model which is one of the popular realistic wideband channel models. And we employ hybrid FDMA/CDMA systems to compare the performance of W-CBMA system for the same occupied total bandwidth. Then, we compare and analyze them for different bandwidth based on the number of users as a parameter. From the simulation results for different bandwidth, better performance can be obtained for wider bandwidth system where more resolvable multipath components are available.

  • To reduce noise inside an elevated railroad station, the vibration of the station structure should be lowered, and to establish more effective anti-vibration measures it is required that, reflecting the track-bridge-structure interaction, the transfer characteristics of vibration induced by a train is well identified. In this paper, the current status of domestic railroad stations is classified, and the vibration transfer characteristics is analyzed via measurement data from representative elevated stations. From the analysis results on the measurement data, in transferring vibration from the track to the structure, remarkable vibration reduction in higher frequency range is observed, and, in some stations, amplified response characteristics in lower frequency range is identified. Also, for stations with floating track system or TPS type, relatively greater reduction in transferred vibration is observed.

  • In this paper, the signals of the sensor for extracting characteristic parameters of the rotor are collected and the performance of the extraction technique is analyzed. To this end, a vibration test league was developed for conducting model tests to analyze the signal characteristics under normal operation. As a result, it is judged that no change in the measured the raw data amplitude will occur in the acceleration sensor with the unbalanced mass measured from the acceleration sensor. Performing FFT showed a significant increase in amplitude of the rotational frequency of 20 Hz as the unbalanced mass increased. The analysis results according to the change in the unequal mass of the speed sensor also showed a significant increase in the 1X Harmonics component, such as the acceleration sensor. There was no change in the amplitude of the acceleration sensor data when the misalignment occurred, and for the Envelope data, the amplitude of 2X (40 Hz) was increased depending on the degree of misalignment. The velocity sensor at change of misalignment also showed similar results to the acceleration sensor, and the peak was reduced at 600 Hz as the load increased in the frequency spectrum.

임피던스 분석을 통한 유기태양전지의 bending에 따른 성능변화

  • ITO가 코팅된 PET 기판 위에 P3HT:PCBM으로 이루어진 bulk heterojunction 유기 태양전지 소자를 만들었다. 이렇게 만들어진 유기 태양전지의 flexibility 특성을 측정하기 위해서, 태양전지 소자를 반지름이 다른 원통에 감아서 휘어지게 한 후 AM 1.5의 조명 하에서 전류-전압 특성을 관측하고 소자의 임피던스 분석도 측정하였다. 이때 flexibility 특성 측정의 일관성을 위하여, 단 하나의 유기 태양전지 소자를 만들고, 이 소자를 반지름이 큰 원통에서 부터 휘게 하고난 후 소자의 특성을 측정하고, 점차 작은 원통으로 바꾸어 가면서 측정을 진행하였다. 임피던스 분석 실험 자료로부터 shifted two semicircles이라는 equivalent circuit model를 분석하고 난 후, 이 회로를 구성하는 구성 성분-R(s), R(low f), R(hi f), C(low f), C(hi f)-값의 변화를 원통의 반지름의 변화에 따라 분석하였다. 반지름이 0.75cm일 때, power conversion efficiency (PCE) 값은 초기값에 비해 약 1/3로 줄었고, 반지름이 0.5cm일 때는 약 10%로 줄어 들었다. 나머지 1~2 cm일 때는 거의 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 휘어짐에 따른 이러한 태양전지의 특성의 변화를 임피던스 분석의 Cole-Cole plot의 저 주파수 영역의 반원의 반지름에 가장 큰 영향을 받음을 확인하였고, 저항과 capacitance 값의 변화에 따른 특성에 대해 이번 발표에서 더 자세히 설명할 예정이다.

  • 프로세서 제어기기에서 오동작의 주요원인은 EFT로 국제전기기술위원회 (IEC)는 EFT에 대한 내성을 평가하기 위해 의사적인 신호를 규정하고 프로세서 제어기기의 내성을 시험하도록 권고하고 있다 본 논문에서는 IEC에서 규정한 의사 EFT신호를 Frequency domain에서 분석하고 이에 대한 대책용 부품개발에 대한 연구를 수행하였다 대책용 부품의 구성은 전원코드의 입력측에 관통형 컨덴서를 Cy 형태로 취부하고 전선자체에는 CM성분의 임피던스를 높이기 위해 고투자율 재료를 전선의 2차피복에 혼합하거나 감는 구조로 되어있다 그리고 전선자체에 CM성분의 임피던스를 높이는 고토자율 재료 대신에 Permalloy를 취부하여 비교하였다 측정 결과 개발된 전원코드는 EFT신호에 대해 넓은 주파수 대역에 걸쳐 매우 우수한 감쇠특성을 가지는 것이 확인되었다 특히 컴퓨터를 피즉정물로 하여 즉청한 dynamic 특성은 3.6Kv까지 견디는 우수한 특성을 나타내었다. 고안된 전원 케이블의 응용범위는 산업용 설비외에도 군용기기 의료기기등의 정상적인 동작확보에 사용될 수 있을 것이다 뿐만 아니라 사용방버에 따라 전원성을 통해 방사되는 EMI중 대책이 어려운 60MH이상 수GHz 대역의 발생전자파 대책에 좋은 특성을 가질 것으로 판단되면며 부품의 선택방법에 따라 EFT의에 IEC801-2,3,5,6, 모든 내성시험 항목에 효과가 기대된다.
