Budget Estimation Problem for Capacity Enhancement based on Various Performance Criteria (다중 평가지표에 기반한 도로용량 증대 소요예산 추정)

  • Uncertainties are unavoidable in engineering applications. In this paper we propose an alpha reliable multi-variable network design problem under demand uncertainty. In order to decide the optimal capacity enhancement, three performance measures based on 3E(Efficiency, Equity, and Environmental) are considered. The objective is to minimize the total budget required to satisfy alpha reliability constraint of total travel time, equity ratio, and total emission, while considering the route choice behavior of network users. The problem is formulated as the chance-constrained model for application of alpha confidence level and solved as a lexicographic optimization problem to consider the multi-variable. A simulation-based genetic algorithm procedure is developed to solve this complex network design problem(NDP). A simple numerical example ispresented to illustrate the features of the proposed NDP model.

Stereoscopic 3-D shape constancy (입체시에 근거한 3차원 모양 항상성의 검증)

  • Systematic distortions in perceived 3-D shape were obtained for elliptical and parabolic stereoscopic surfaces viewed at different distances under full and reduced cue conditions. In both conditions of Experiments 1 and 3, elliptical hemi-cylinders a appeared near veridical at the 45 cm viewing distances and flattened up to 74% of veridical at 135 cm. In Experiment 2, under full cue conditions, parabolic hemi-cylinders a appeared stretched to 118% of veridical at 45 cm, near veridical at 90 cm, and flattened to 85% of veridical at 135 cm. Under reduced cue conditions parabolas appeared flatter overall: veridical curvature was obtained at 45 cm viewing distance with flatness increasing to 68% of veridical at 135 cm. Results support a scaling explanation of perceived 3-D shape from disparity and rule out the alternative hypothesis that disparity curvature, an optical invariant, provides information for the direct perception of 3-D s shape.

  • 최근 국제 금융시장은 컴퓨터 및 통신분야의 기술진보로 비 은행금융기관에서도 상업은행에 의해서만 독점적으로 제공되었던 거래서비스를 결합한 새로운 금융서비스를 제공할 수 있게 되었고, 이는 곧 은행과 비 은행금융기관의 벽을 무너뜨리는 양자 간 동질화 현상을 유도하였으며 활발한 금융 겸업화 현상으로 금융혁신이라고 부를 만한 서비스분야의 기술혁신 성과를 거두게 되었다. 본 연구는 금융권간 판매채널 통합의 시작이라 평가되는 방카슈랑스를 중심으로 금융기관 간 겸업의 활성화를 통해 산업 간 동질화를 이루는 시점에서 금융혁신이 이루어진다고 설정, 금융서비스의 기술혁신 성과를 예측해 보았다 이를 위해 먼저 우리나라 대표 금융기관 격인 은행과 보험, 증권회사가 금융겸업을 이루는 경우 각 겸업 주체 기관의 혁신적인 성과를 실증 분석하도록 한다. 분석대상은 표본기간 중 국내 주식시장에 연속으로 상장되어 있는 모든 은행, 증권, 손해보험 49개를 대상으로 수행하였으며, 표본자료는 KIS-LINE이 제공하는 재무제표자료와 한국증권거래소에서 제공하는 주가데이터에서 추출하였다. 본 연구의 금융혁신 성과 분석은 두 단계로 이루어진다. 먼저 금융기관 간 가상 합병을 이용, 시뮬레이션 분석을 하고 그 결과 각 금융기관의 ROA와 자기자본비율 및 안전성(위험성지표)을 분석한다 다음 단계로 안전성이 보장되지 않는 경우 적정하게 추정된 안전성 내에서 경영 성과를 이루는 최적 기간에 대해 실물옵션평가(Real Option Valuation) 분석을 한다. 그 결과 금융겸업을 통한 혁신 성과는 은행 주체로 비 은행금융기관과 겸영하는 경우 이상적으로 잘 보여지며, 증권 주체로 보험업을 겸업하는 경우는 ROA 와 자기자본비율 면에서는 혁신적이나 안전성 면에서는 저해된다는 결과를 알아내었다. 그리고 이 같은 안전성의 위험은 증권업을 실행하는데 요구되는 수준의 안전성을 유지하는 경우 3 년간의 투자기간 후에는 혁신사업으로 발전할 수 있는 발판을 마련하게 된다고 추정하였다.

국내 우수 연구자의 글로벌 공동연구 활동도 분석 연구 : 신산업 분야를 중심으로

  • 최근 4차 산업혁명 등 대외적 R&D 환경의 급속한 변화와 이로 인한 과학기술의 융 복합 및 첨단화가 가속화됨에 따라 이에 대응하기 위해 신산업분야를 중심으로 국가 간 공동협력이 점차 활발해짐에도 불구하고, 우리나라는 연구개발 주체의 연구역량 열위, 연구주체의 폐쇄성, 국가 R&D 제도적 미흡 등으로 인해 국가 간 공동연구 활동도가 매우 미흡한 편이다. 2016년 국가과학 기술혁신역량평가 국제협력 항목에서도 우리나라의 국제협력 항목지수는 0.206으로 2015년(0.182) 대비 0.024p 상승하였으나, 여전히 OECD 30개국 중 16위에 머무르는 것으로 나타났으며, 국제협력 상위 3개국에 대한 상대수준에서도 평균 10.3% 수준에 불과하여 국제 공동연구 활동도를 높이기 위한 다각적인 개선방안 확립에 대한 요구가 점차 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2015년 연구에 이어 미래 신산업 분야에서 우리나라와 해외 주요국의 국제 공동연구 현황을 중심으로 핵심연구자 간(연구 활동도 상위 5위 이하) 국제공동연구에 대한 활동도 비교 분석을 통해 정확한 현황을 진단하고, 향후 우리나라 연구주체의 연구개발 개방화, 국제 협력 전략적 분야 및 대상 발굴, 국제공동연구 활성화 등에 대한 발전방안을 고찰하고자 하였다. 국내 및 글로벌 핵심 연구자 간 글로벌 공동연구 현황을 분석하기 위해서 KDD/KM 방법론을 활용한 공동연구자 분석(Co-author analysis)네트워크 기법을 활용하였으며, 동 방법론의 활용을 통해서 신산업 분야 중 가사로봇분야의 상위 10개 국가, 기관, 연구자에 대해 분석하고, 논문 활동도가 높은 글로벌 및 한국의 상위 5위까지의 핵심 연구자를 대상으로 연구자 간 국제공동연구에 대한 현황 및 활동도에 대한 공동연구 네트워크 분석을 수행하였다.

Government Policies, R&D Networks and Space: The Case of Korean national R&D Projects (정부의 R&D 정책과 연구개발 네트워크의 구조 및 공간적 특성: 한국의 국가연구개발사업 사례를 중심으로)

  • Government R&D policies generate diverse intended and unintended effects including innovator-specific and spatial effects. The Korean government has promoted R&D policies throughout the industrializing period, resulting in R&D networks focused on government research institutes geographically concentrated in the Capital region and Daedeok. This research aims to review the development of the Korean national R&D projects and analyze the recent composition of participants and spatial effects of the Korean national R&D projects. The results show that, in terms of the participants, the R&D networks generated from the Korean national R&D projects have been diversified from dominance of the government research institutes to strategic collaboration between the Korean private firms, universities, and government research institutes. Spatially, the R&D networks are not regionalized, and many private firms in most of the regions have nationwide R&D networks or still rely on the R&D networks in the Capital region.

  • This study is a life history study of the elderly of overseas chinese. The aim of study is to explain the acculturation of identity and attitude to korean and the experience of discrimination through of the work of reconstruction of life history. We approached narrative - life history analyze. The life history data were collected by in - depth interview. The authors analysed the text according to Rosenthal(2008). In first stage we recomposed narrative life history and finally we composed experienced life history. The result as follows. The hero of this study have lived wearing korean mask for survival in the land of emergency landing but he lived severely dreaming come home in glory. The life of hero of this study represented forfeit of identity. He couldn't root in korea, Taiwan and China.

  • The purpose of this study is to seek a new understanding of human beings by examining, through the various types of futuristic humans in SF narratives, the changes of human condition and identity, raised by the discussion on the posthuman today. The rapid development of science and technology blurs the line between humans and machines, predicting the birth of the 'new human posterior to the human'. The advancement of technology enables the production of 'human beyond the biological human' through the combination of humans and machines, and humans are becoming more mechanized. On the other hand, machines are gradually developing to the stage of resembling not just the exterior body structure, but the thinking abilities and emotions of human beings. However, by colliding with the traditional view of human beings, artificial changes to the human condition as a result of cutting-edge technology demand a new perspective on the meaning of a new being and changes in human conditions. Therefore, the study examines how human conditions and perceptions have changed in accordance with the evolution of science and technology, and then explores the direction of co-evolution between humans and machines through the various types of futuristic humans that appear in the SF narratives, as well as the potential of futuristic humans as the new subject.

A Study on the Interaction Structure of Smart Farm in Controlled Horticulture: Focusing on Plant Production Stage (시설원예 스마트팜의 인터랙션 구조 연구: 식물 생산 단계 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to study the interaction structure of a smart farm for controlled environment horticulture. As a research method, interaction factors were analyzed by defining the growth stages of humans, plants, and plants, which are the subjects of interaction during the production, distribution, sales and consumption stages of smart farms. Additionally, on-site survey was used to differentiate between one-time, short-term, and long-term, depending on the behavior and operation of the interacting entity and time. As a result, the research came up to a finding that 1) Human and Plant are based on interactions of 'one-time, short-term' 2) Plant and Smart Farm as 'short-term' 3) Smart Farm and Human as 'short-term and long-term'. For this reason, this study is meaningful in deriving the relationship between the subjects and the interaction elements in the production stage of the smart farm and presenting a new interaction structure model by structuring them.

Unification of Deep Learning Model trained by Parallel Learning in Security environment

  • Recently, deep learning, which is the most used in the field of artificial intelligence, has a structure that is gradually becoming larger and more complex. As the deep learning model grows, a large amount of data is required to learn it, but there are cases in which it is difficult to integrate and learn the data because the data is distributed among several owners and security issues. In that situation we conducted parallel learning for each users that own data and then studied how to integrate it. For this, distributed learning was performed for each owner assuming the security situation as V-environment and H-environment, and the results of distributed learning were integrated using Average, Max, and AbsMax. As a result of applying this to the mnist-fashion data, it was confirmed that there was no significant difference from the results obtained by integrating the data in the V-environment in terms of accuracy. In the H-environment, although there was a difference, meaningful results were obtained.

  • This study purposed to interpret subjectivity, which centers on the concept of virtuality embedded in the process of virtualizing contextual awareness and mixing the boundary between realities and virtual realities for renewing the feeling of time and space represented by augmented realities in daily spaces, from the viewpoint of traditional media. By explaining how the reflection of reality is exposed focusing on immediacy and hypermediacy from the viewpoint of media remediation, we found that, different from conventional media, augmented reality enables the screen to function as a part of subject and play a role and, by doing so, converts it to the complete subject of digital media comprehending observers and operators.
