Resident's Requirement and Facilities Planning on the Shared Facilities and Space in the Multi-family Housing (아파트 단지내에서 생활시설과 공간에 대한 주민요구고아 설치계획연구)

  • In this study, the shared facilities and space in the multi-family housing which residents could maintain contacts with their neighbors were investigated and analyzed. It could find the shared facilities and space so that residents could maintain to contact with their neighbors after surveying the dwellers requirements. Also it could specify the importance of the neighborhood common spaces and the conditions for the planning of the shared facilities. Analyzing residents requirement of set-up location, this study lead to the following suggestions concerning the facilities design: In the first neighborhood-circle, it require to be related the household affairs of housewives on the adjacent space to a dwelling-unit. In the second neighborhood-circle, it require especially the facilities for children play, study, reading, hobby etc. These facilities need establish each 4-5 floor in high-rise building estates. The roof & underground floors has been recognized in important & essential place for living facilities. Therefore, it is needed to improve to get ready to receive the various facilities.

A Study on the Characteristics of Spatial Environmental Needs in a Three generation Family (노인동거가족의 공간적 환경 요구 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to grasp the spatial environmental needs of a three generation family, thereby to suggest some major concepts which can be used as basic design guidelines for a three generation family housing. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey from 467 housewives living in a three generation family households. Results showed that most respondents want to be seperated from their old parents. This tendency, however, changed once a housing alternative for the three generation living was assumed to have been developed. The most preferred alternative housing units were identified. The desirable proportions of the unit alternatives were 34% for a single unit. 28% for the two connected units. 7% for two separated units within a building and 32% for two separated units in different buildings within the same housing complex.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the need for the housing consultation and information about housing in 6 cities except Seoul. This study examined the relations among socio-demographic characteristics, housing characteristics, and the level of need for the housing consultation and information. The number of 629 housewives were interviewed in Pusan, Daefeon, Inchon, Daegu, Kwangju, and Jeonju. The data were analysed by statistical methods such as frequencies, means, and logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the significant variables related to the needs for the housing consultation were the age, education level, and the experience of housing consultation. Respondents were required urgently the parts of housing environment and housing maintenance and repair.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the tendency of demands and satisfaction according to the resident's characteristics using the Cognitive Measurement Scale of Residential Life Management. Data were analyzed by the SAS program package. The results of study showed that the degree of satisfaction in the life management was low. And highest demand of each factor was as follows : Life cooperative association in Fesidential life convenience service(I). Bank service in Residential life support service(II). Announcement about utility fee in Resident's activity support and announcement of managerial warks(III). Works about criminiality control in Safety and order sustaining(IV). Care for empty house in Precaution to accident(V).

Needs for Shared Community Spaces and Housing Consciousness among Apartment Housing Dwellers (주의식과 주민전용 공동공간에 대한 요구)

  • This study explores the patterns of housing-related attitudes and the kind of needs for shared community spaces among small-sized apartment housing dwellers. The major findings are as follows. The majority of the dwellers are in a strong need of common spaces. especially for children's activities. social gathering and physical exercises. Housing consciousness can be grouped into 4 categories the propensity to making up common society. the propensity to pursuing the quality of neighborhood. the propensity to orienting natural environment. and the propensity to participating in community. Families with children in primary school are more likely to get involved in the community and the common society than those with children in high school or those in the stage of launching a family. The propensity to making up common society and pursing the quality of neighborhood have stronger impact on needs for shared community space. This study reveals that the sense of community orientation is the most powerful predictor variable for shared community space needs.

  • The purpose of this study was to chronologically analyze bathroom-related studies and find out the characteristics. The study of bathroom in housing environment has increased gradually from 1970's since apartment started to be adapted in Korea. Recently the studies of bathroom are increasing as the way of thinking toward housing environment is changed. And the functional aspect shown in the recent bathroom study is different from that shown in the past bathroom study. These changes of functional aspect can be interpreted as phenomenon shown in the process of fulfilling continually changing desires. In this study analyze need of future bathroom using Maslow's need of hierarchy.

  • The propose of this study is to grasp actual status and needs of leisure of middle age. The questionnaire survey is used, the subjects are middle age from 40${\sim}$50's living in big city. The questionnaire consists of leisure, leisure actual condition, leisure satisfaction and need. Frequency, percent, average, x2-test, t-test and ANOVA are used for data analysis. The results of this study are as following; First, leisure is necessary to elevate Quality of life in terms of spiritual , psychological stability and physical health. Second, subjects have more leisure time in weekend the characteristics of leisure time are scattered in woman. Third, in the future the subjects wish to have leisure with family. Therefore, it is necessary to develop leisure program and facilities to promote family leisure. Fourth, the subjects are not satisfied with current leisure for unsufficiency of leisure time, cost, facility and program. Fifth, present leisure behavior characteristics are restrictive and passive. In the near future, however, they showed desire to engage in divers forms of leisure including active and participant leisure.

  • 지하철 인근 지역에서 차량 통과 시 차륜과 레일의 상호작용으로 인한 진동이 지반을 통하여 건물까지 전파되어 구조전달음이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 구조전달음이 발생하는 지하철 인근 지역에서 도로나 주거단지가 새롭게 조성될 예정인 경우, 완공 이후에 발생하는 구조전달음 영향을 사전에 평가하고 대책을 수립하는 것이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 국내에 위치한 일부 역사에서의 구조전달음을 측정하고 국외의 예측식을 검토하여 구조전달음의 실측치와 예측치를 비교한다. 따라서 국내 지하철의 구조전달음 예측에 대하여 국외 예측식의 타당성을 검토함으로써 향후 건설될 지하구간 역사의 인근 주거지역에 대한 구조전달음을 예측하는데 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다.

Needs for Shared Community Spaces Among Apartment Housing Residents in Kwangju City (아파트단지의 외부 공동공간에 대한 요구도)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine residents' needs for shared community spaces and to explore the relationships between these needs and characteristics of consumers such as age and employment status of the homemakers, family life cycle stage, occupation of the primary income provider, housing size, and homeownership. Statistical data were compiled to determine frequencies and percentage distributions, and subjected to General Linear Model and Duncan-test analysis.Most residents wanted to utilize the basements of their complexes for storage space. Further interest was shown for shared community spaces that would be run by residents themselves, such as vegetable gardens, indoor playgrounds for children, senior citizen's activity rooms, walking paths, study rooms, and lounges. Female residents under 45 years old were likely to express needs for storage spaces for bicycle, and multipurpose rooms for meetings and family events. Female residents with jobs were more likely to desire shared community spaces than full-time females residents were. These findings imply the need for consideration of diverse plans rather than uniform ones. This results can be usefully applied to develop new apartment housing for different social class residents.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine resident's needs for storage according to unit size. In order to achieve our goal, the questionnaire survey was used. The results of the study were obtained as follows: 1) In research on consciousness and attitude about the storage, Residents tended to keep the goods of no use and prefered to arrange neatly rather than use conveniently. 2) In research on the storage needs, needs for the built-in furniture in all apartment sizes showed highly and residents wanted a space for the exclusive use of the storage.
