This research analyzes the residents' satisfaction for the pedestrian space of multi-family housing based on quality index. For this purpose, nine apartment complexes which were built after 2000, are selected and examined by user characteristics of composition factors of pedestrian space. This research also compares residents' satisfaction by evaluation factors of walking environment. The resident survey reveals that the composit type of apartment gives the highest satisfaction to residents followed by a courtyard type, and a straight type the last. In particular, residents show high satisfaction to pedestrian-only space in the case of the composit type of apartment building. The most important factor of walking environment on residential satisfaction is the separation of car and pedestrian path of main entrance. Above all, suitability of construction laws and regulations should be reviewed for safer and more amenable walking environment.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relation between the dwelling location and the satisfaction level, and suggest a proposal to increase the quality of the livability space. A first of this study began from public surveys conducted to gather the information of satisfaction level from 4 multi-family housing sites in Gwang-ju. The plan was to the characteristics of the LS(livability space). The poll and the observation investigation was run concurrently. The cross analysis and the frequency analysis were used to analyze the data from the questionnaires. The validity of fixed quantitative index was got through the correlation analysis between the result of former analysis and index of livability space. The result said that the dwelling location have relations with the satisfaction level. In the conclusion, this will be a suggestion of the methods to enhance equal-quality of the livability space.

The purpose of this paper is to examine bedroom-need norms and the relationship between normative deficits for bedroom sharing and housing space satisfaction of adolescent. Three cases were mainly considered to apply for adolescents to share a bedroom: maximum age and number limits of a child sharing a parents'bedroom, maximum age of an old child sharing a bedroom with its siblings of the opposite sex, and maximum age of an old child sharing a bedroom with its siblings of the same sex. The data were collected 400 eighth grade students in the three different size of regions, June-July, 1999 and 379 cases were finally analyzed. The result showed that the normative deficits for bedroom sharing was a statistically signiticant factor to explain housing space satisfaction of adolescents even though the condition of bedroom sharing was the most influencial variable. This reset supports the family housing adjustment behavior model of Morris and Winter.

본 연구는 Electronic Control Unit (EC)기술이 적용된 스마트 홈이 휠체어를 사용하는 장애인의 일상생활활동 수행도와 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 국립재활원 재활병원에 입원한 환자 중에서 지역 사회 복귀와 집으로 퇴원을 계획하는 대상자 중에서 스마트 홈을 경험하기를 원하는 사람을 연구에 포함하였다. 15명의 참여자 중 척수손상장애인은 10명, 나머지 5명은 뇌병변 장애인이었다. 스마트 홈은 ECU기술이 적용된 것으로 가구 및 기반 제품들의 전동화, 기반 시설들의 자동화 그리고 제품과 시설들을 통합하여 스마트 디바이스와 음성으로 제어할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 휠체어 사용자의 일상생활 수행도와 만족도는 캐나다 작업수행평가에 의해 평가되었다. 스마트 홈에서 거주해본 결과 거실과 현관, 침실, 기타(환경적요소) 부분에서 일상생활의 수행도가 3점 이상의 평균값 차이를 보였다. 공간별 수행도 비교 결과, 현재 주거 공간에 비해 스마트 홈 주거 공간별 수행도가 모두 유의미한 차이(p<0.05)로 향상되었다. 만족도 역시, 거실과 현관, 침실, 주방 영역에서 4점 이상의 차이를 보였고 주거 공간별 만족도 비교 결과 모두 유의미한 차이(p<0.05)로 향상되었다. 본 연구는 하이테크 기반의 스마트 홈 적용 가능성의 기초적인 근거를 제공했다는 점에서 임상적 의의를 가진다. 추후에는 근거 수준의 질 향상을 위해 다수의 연구 참여자를 확보한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to find the role of participation in common activities and satisfaction with common space in a tentative housing adjustment framework for Swedish cohousing residents, applying the housing adjustment behavior model of Morris and Winter (1978, 1996). The data used for this research were a subset of data Choi and Paulsson (2011) surveyed from 12 Swedish cohousing units. Number of 216 cases whose age was 40 and over were selected and analyzed with Pearson correlations and hierarchical linear regressions by SPSS. The regression analyses included four main concepts as endogenous variables, which were participation in common activities, satisfaction with common space, overall life satisfaction, and intention to move out. The results showed that participation in common activities raised satisfaction with common space and overall life satisfaction but reduced intention to move out. Meanwhile, satisfaction with common space diminished intention to move out but did not impact overall life satisfaction. When overall life satisfaction was added to the final regression model, the direct impacts of security reasons, participation in common activities, and satisfaction with common space on intention to move out disappeared. It may be concluded that participation in common activities and satisfaction with common space acted as intervening variables in the tentative cohousing adjustment framework. Even though this study leaves further research on specifying the framework, it may be noteworthy as a first attempt that explains the flow of main concepts. This study may broaden the possibility of empirical studies to develop an analytical path model of housing adjustment for cohousing residents.

본 연구는 국내 대학생들이 주거공간으로서 이용하는 쉐어하우스 품질과 쉐어하우스에 대한 신뢰, 몰입도가 재이용의사에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 쉐어하우스가 대학생 및 청년층의 새로운 주거공간의 대안으로 떠오를 수 있는가를 알아보고 이를 통하여 현재 쉐어하우스 시장에 관한 이해도를 높이며, 추후 쉐어하우스의 합리적인 공급 및 거주환경 향상을 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 문헌 연구와 실증연구를 병행(쉐어하우스 대학생 사용자 대상으로 설문 조사)하였다. 쉐어하우스 품질로 유형성, 안전성, 공감성, 신뢰성, 응답성이 신뢰와 몰입 및 재이용의사에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보기 위하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 종합적으로 볼 때, 쉐어하우스의 품질 중, 유형성, 안전성, 공감성, 신뢰성, 응답성에 대한 만족도가 높다면, 쉐어하우스에 대한 신뢰와 몰입이 향상되고 재이용의사를 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 현재 대학생 및 청년층에게 필요한 주거공간의 공급이 부족한 상황에서, 민간 시장을 이용하여 낮은 임대료와 더불어 주거의 질이 보장되어 있는 쉐어하우스 공급을 활성화시키기 위해서는 주거정책적 관점에서 향후 대응주거로서의 쉐어하우스가 지속가능한 주거 유형의 중요한 부분이 될 것으로 기대한다.

With the change of family type and diversify of life style, residents need various unit plan in Quality. A rate of economically productive women has increased, and generally double-income households will continuously increase in the future. So a research is requested to consider the double-income households's satisfaction for a unit plan based on their life characteristics. The purpose of this study is to find out double-income households's lifestyles, and to search and analyze users' needs for spatial composition according to their lifestyles, and then, embody spatial composition of Apartment Unit plans. The findings are as follows. (1) Housing lifestyles of users living in apartment are categorized into 5 types: seeking the way to make housework easy and comfortable, making the best use spatial composition, pursing the universalism, housework oriented, pursing the leisure. (2) The type of seeking the way to make housework easy and comfortable requests facility with home appliances and a shower bath, the type of making the best use spatial composition requests storage space and trial about new plan, the type of pursing the universalism is concerned about the protection of environment and a memorial service, the type of housework oriented wants a talk with their family and discuss some problem, and the type of pursing the leisure requests division of household with their family and likes traveling and sports.

과반수 이상의 국민이 살게 된 아파트 환경은 거주자의 요구 특성이 충분히 반영되지 못한 상황에서 물량공급적 측면만이 강조되어 왔다고 할 수 있다. 하지만 조만간 주택보급률이 100%에 육박할 것으로 전망되고 전반적인 생활수준의 향상과 함께 수요자의 다양한 거주 환경에 대한 욕구변화가 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 거주자의 욕구 특성을 파악하고 현 거주 환경에 대한 만족도 및 선호경향의 변화를 분석해 보는 것은 거주자의 주요구를 파악할 수 있는 지표로서 바람직한 주거환경 창조를 위한 필수 선행과제이다. 본 연구는 설문조사를 통해 아파트 거주자들을 중심으로 아파트 주거환경에 대한 만족도 및 선호도를 조사 분석함으로써 거주자 요구충족을 중심으로 한 아파트 공간계획의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

This study surveys the degree of residents' satisfaction on the current street space to suggest alternatives for the improvement of the street space design in detached house areas. In the results of the survey, we find the following. First, in the result of analysis on age, residential term, having children or not, income level, and type of house ownership, residents are homogeneous in social and economic characteristics. There are similarity in geographical, locational conditions, neighboring facilities, deterioration of residential house, and the time of residential formation among residential areas. Second, satisfactory determinants of residents on street space according to street types, are maintenance, protection of privacy, and parking space. Third, satisfactory determinants of residents on street hierarchy is the inner circulation road while unsatisfactory one is the inner roads. Fourth, age, residential term and type of house ownership are significant factors influencing residents' satisfaction. Factors influencing satisfaction on street space are also affecting total satisfaction and factors associated with street environment are perceived more important ones than factors associated with street activities. Thus we find the degrees of satisfaction for residents on street type and street hierarchy are different despite that general characteristics of residents are similar. We also find residents consider street noise and maintenance as critical factor among physical factors of street space.
