Relation among Organization Citizenship Behavior, Organization Commitment and Customer Orientation of Casino Employees (카지노 직원의 조직시민행동, 조직몰입 및 고객지향성 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of organization citizenship behavior of casino employees and organization commitment, organization commitment and customer orientation, organization citizenship behavior and customer orientation. In order to analyze data of this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted with employees of casino in Gangwon-do. This study considers organization citizenship behavior of casino employees and examines the method of enhancement of organization citizenship behavior, organization commitment and customer orientation for development of casino industry. The results of the study were as follows. First, organization citizenship behavior had a statistically significant effect on citizenship, sportsmanship. Second, organization commitment had a statistically significant effect on customer orientation. Third, altruism and sportsmanship had statistically significant effects on customer orientation, citizenship had a statistically significant effect on satisfaction of customer need, conscientious action had a statistically significant effect on customer reception service.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of transformational leadership on passion, innovative behavior and organizational citizenship behavior in the jewelry companies. The results indicate that transformational leadership makes significant influence on employees' passion in order of intellectual stimulation, individual consideration and charisma. Furthermore, employees' passion also makes significant positive influence on both employee's innovative behavior and organizational citizenship behavior. It is also found that charisma, individual consideration and intellectual stimulation of transformational leadership has indirect impact on innovative behavior and organizational citizenship behavior through the passion. It is expected that the results of this study will make a contribution to the improvement of competitiveness in the jewelry companies by suggesting a new viewpoint regarding how transformational leadership work to motivate employees' passion, innovative behavior and organizational citizenship behavior in the jewelry companies.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of compassion experienced by defectors on deep acting in organization and secondly to demonstrate the effect of deep acting through compassion on job performance. Third, the purpose of this study is to examine the effects of deep acting on organizational citizenship behavior. Fourth, we examine the mediating effect of deep acting in the relationship between compassion and job performance. Finally, we try to demonstrate the mediating effect of deep acting in the relationship between compassion and organizational citizenship behavior. As a result of this study, it was proved that compassion experienced by defectors has a positive effect on deep acting and that deep acting has a positive effect on job performance and organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, all hypotheses were supported by the findings of research on the mediating effect of deep acting in the relationship between compassion and job performance, and compassion and organizational citizenship behavior. Thus, this study implies that the defectors who need compassion in the organization improve their job performance and increase organizational citizenship behavior through deep acting.

  • This study divides organizational citizenship behaviors into two dimensions, organizational and individual, in order to clarify the out-role behaviors of organizational members more specifically. In addition, we selected Empowering leadership as an input factor that can lead to organizational citizenship behavior and examined the mediating role of trust. To accomplish this purpose, the authors conducted a survey of employees in manufacturing companies in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region and the hypothesis was verified through structural equations model. The results of the study are as follows. Empowering leadership has a significant positive impact on OCB-O and OCB-I. Also, Trust has been found to partial mediate effect the relationship between empowering leadership and OCB_O and OCB_I. The results of this study will be specific guidelines for inducing organizational citizenship behavior in organizations, and will further expand the scope of research into organizational citizenship behavior.

  • The Purpose of this study was to find the effect of Hotel employees transformational leadership and transactional leadership on member's organizational commitment and organization citizenship behavior. Survey was carried out among employees at deluxe hotels located in Busan region. Spsswin 12.0 and Amos 5.0 statistical package were used for further analysis. The conclusions were as follows: Firstly, transformational leadership had directly positive effect on organizational commitment and organization citizenship behavior. Secondly, transactional leadership had directly positive effect on organizational commitment and negative effect on organization citizenship behavior. Thirdly, organizational commitment had directly positive effect on organization citizenship behavior. Finally, The practical implications of the findings and suggestions for future research were discussed.

  • The purposes of this paper are to examine the effect of emotional intelligence and logic intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior and to examine the moderating effect of intelligence labor on these relationship. For these purposes, literature review and survey research were conducted. The 420 questionnaires were sent to the 12 manufactural firms in the Busan and Kyungsang Nam-Do region for empirical analysis. Total 363 usable responses were collected(effective response rate : 86.40%). The major findings of the empirical research are as follows ; First, emotional intelligence and logic intelligence have positive influence organizational citizenship behavior. but emotional intelligence have more positive influence than logic intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior. Second, emotional intelligence has differential influence on organizational citizenship behavior by emotional labor, but logic intelligence hasn't that. In conclusion, emotional intelligence is expected to improve organizational citizenship behavior which is extra-role behavior in an organization. Therefore, managers have to develop organizational citizenship behavior by exhibiting emotional intelligence, considering emotional labor.

  • Previous findings on Organizational Citizenship Behaviors is a useful index for effectiveness of the organization. Also, it is a factor that explains the relation between its member's attitude and behavior as organizational commitment had been stabilized. Since autonomy and rapidity has become more important in increasing the efficiency of the organization, this means Organizational Citizenship Behaviors has become important in it. Organizational Citizenship Behaviors of the members occurs only when discretion and autonomy are given to its members. Therefore, this study aimed at measuring the effects of police officer's personal dispositions on organizational citizenship behaviors, exploring the moderation effect of organization culture, and providing the basis with implications to promote the Organizational Citizenship Behaviors in the police Organization. By reviewing previous finding, Police Officer's Personal Dispositions were selected as independent variables, Organizational Citizenship Behaviors was selected as dependent variable. and Organizational Culture was selected as moderation variable. The result of analysis showed that The belief & The Norm influenced in Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(positive), and The Value in Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(negative). And The moderation effect was tested: The Value${\rightarrow}$Hierarchical Culture${\rightarrow}$Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(negative), The belief${\rightarrow}$Rational Culture${\rightarrow}$Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(negative)

The Relationship between Self-critical Perfectionism and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: Investigating the Roles of Gender Effect (자기 비판적 완벽주의와 조직시민행동 간 관계: 성별의 조절효과)

  • This study examined the effects of self-critical perfectionism on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and the moderating effects of gender in the relationship to understand deeply the dilemmatic situation resulting from OCB at the individual level. In other words, based on the conservation of resources theory, this study examined how self-critical perfectionism influences the OCB and how gender moderates the relationship between self-critical perfectionism and OCB. More specifically, this study predicts that self-perfectionism will be negatively related to OCB. Furthermore, this negative relationship between self-critical perfectionism and OCB will be strengthened in men compared to women. To test these hypotheses, the supervisor-subordinate survey was conducted, and 150 dyad data were analyzed. The analytical results of HLM (Hierarchical Linear Modeling) showed that self-critical perfectionism negatively influenced the OCB, and this negative effect was strengthened in men compared to women. This paper suggests implications and limitations for the literature on OCB.

  • 최근 기업의 사회적 책임에 대한 관심이 커져가고 있으며, 사회의 구성원으로서 사회적 책임 활동은 선택이 아닌 필수적인 요소가 되어 가고 있으며 이에 대한 연구들도 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기업의 사회적 책임활동에 대한 연구들은 주로 사회적 책임활동과 기업의 이미지, 고객만족 및 재방문 등 기업의 성과와 관련한 연구가 주를 이루고 있다. 이에 기업의 사회적 책임활동이 직원들의 내부 고객인 직원들의 직무만족과 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 그 관계에서 조직몰입이 어떤 역할을 하는지를 규명해보고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 기업의 사회적 책임활동이 직원들의 직무만족을 증진하고, 증진된 직무만족이 조직시민행동에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 인과적 경로를 검증하고자 한다. 또한 사회적 책임활동과 직무만족, 조직시민행동의 관계에서 조직몰입을 조절 변수로 설정하여 본 연구를 진행하였다.

Mediation and Moderation Effects of Organizational Citizenship Behavior between Nursing Performance and Turnover Intention (간호업무수행과 이직의도 간의 관계에서 조직시민행동의 조절 및 매개효과 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating and moderating effects of organizational citizenship behavior on the relationship between nursing performance and turnover intention. Data were collected from 439 nurses in 3 tertiary hospitals and 2 secondary hospitals and analyzed by PASW 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The findings were as follows. The correlation coefficients of the study variables were all statistically significant. The organizational citizenship behavior showed mediating effects between the nursing performance and turnover intention. On the other hand, organizational citizenship behavior did not have moderating effects. Various strategies that are purposed to enhancing organizational citizenship behavior among nurses should be developed to reduce turnover intention of nurse who have high nursing performance.
