  • The purpose of this study is to increase the competitiveness of big data in the maritime port organization, by understanding the expected performance and the intention to accept and use big data. In the empirical analysis of factors affecting the intention to use the big data technology for maritime port organizations, the variables employed are based on the Technology Organization Environment(TOE) and Diffusion of Innovations(DOI) theories, which are related to the acceptance of information and communication technologies. To achieve the objective of this study, an empirical analysis was conducted; this analysis targeted the personnel involved in the department of strategic planning and information technology in the related field. We set up eight hypotheses to examine the relevance between variables having three characteristics-technology, organization, and environmental characteristics. The empirical results are summarized as follows. First, it was seen that the technology characteristic, including relative advantage, complexity, and compatibility, has a significant effect on the expected performance. Second, the top management support of the organization characteristic has a significant effect, but the firm size of this characteristic has no significant effect on the expected performance. Third, the competitive pressure of the environment characteristic has a positive effect on the expected performance, while the regulatory support has no significant effect. Finally, the expected performance has a significant effect on the intention to use big data.

As an analysis method, we used SPSS 24 for sample characteristics, SmartPLS 3 statistical programs for verifiable factor analysis, reliability and validity, path analysis, and structural equation models. Studies have shown that bullying in the workplace affects significant positive (+) for emotional depletion, and that emotional depletion affects significant negative (-) for tissue commitment. The influence relationship between workplace bullying and tissue commitment was partially mediated in the direction of wealth (-), and the effect of emotional depletion on tissue immersion was shown to be significant differences in the control of social support. Implications are that bullying in the workplace affects emotional depletion, so corporate efforts to prevent bullying are urgently needed, suggesting that employees can improve their organizational commitment, by using a system or community that can promote communication with their bosses.

  • This study aims to examine the relationship between perceived organizational support (POS), work engagement (WE), and turnover intention (TI) among employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) characterized by whether or not to participate in the work-learning dual system (WLDS). Also, this study intends to explore the effectiveness of WLDS by examining significant differences between the two groups. To achieve the purpose of this study, we have conducted surveys between August and December in 2018. A total of 616 cases (321 cases from SMEs participating in WLDS and 295 cases from general SMEs) were finally selected and used for data analysis with structural equation modeling (SEM). Results of the study revealed that POS had a significant and positive effect on WE. Also, POS had a significant and negative effect on TI. In addition, the mediating effect of WE in the relationship between POS and TI was found to be statistically significant. Furthermore, the results revealed that the conditional indirect effect between POS and TI depending on participation in WLDS was statistically significant. However, the conditional direct effect between POS and TI due to WLDS participation was not statistically significant. Based on the results, academic and practical implications were discussed.

  • This study was conducted to analyze the effects of person-environment fit on the job performance in the National Assembly legislative support organization. Job performance was classified into task performance, contextual performance, and adaptive performance. Impacts of each factors on the job performance were identified through structural equation model. From the results of analysis, it was confirmed that supplementary fit of officials of legislative support organization of the National Assembly had a positive effect on task performance, contextual performance, and adaptive performance. However, complementary-fit does not directly affect task performance, contextual performance, and adaptive performance. Rather complementary-fit affects job performance by the mediating role of variable self-efficacy. The implications of this study confirm that it is important to match between organization members and jobs in order to improve the job performance of civil servants in the legislative support organization. The necessity of introducing self-efficacy enhancement program into the education and training process of the legislative support organization was proposed.

Relative importance of the derived critical success factors are analyzed using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). In the first layer of the hierarchy, organizational/ human resource factors are appeared to be the most important factors. In the second layer of the hierarchy, CEO support is evaluated as the most important success factor considering the weight of the 1st layer of the hierarchy followed by process optimization, change management, support of the operation department, and maintenance of process innovation organization. This study suggests that, in order to maximize the introducing effect, continuous support and attention of management is not the only requirement. Proper change management to handle the internal environment change caused by the introduction of the ERP system, support of operation department dedicated to ERP system, and separate department for continuous innovation of process are also required.
