Effects of Organizational Culture on Organizational Trust and Organizational Commitment in Automobile Manufacturing Enterprises (자동차 제조기업의 조직문화가 조직신뢰와 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was intended to analyze the effects of Organizational Culture on manufacturing(automobile) employees' Organizational Trust and Organizational Commitment. A proposed model based on previous research was empirically tested via structural equation modeling by AMOS using 362 valid samples collected from current employees of G-automobile Enterprises in Chang Won. The results of the empirical analysis are summarized as follows. First, Organizational Culture had a partially direct impact on Organizational Commitment. Second, Organizational Culture had a partially direct impact on Organizational Trust. Third, Organizational Trust had direct impact on Organizational Commitment. It has been confirmed that Organizational Trust has a partial mediation effect(full mediation effect) in the process of Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment. This study showed similar results as other previous studies.

  • 컴포넌트 기반 개발 프로세스는 그 동안의 구조적 분석/설계 기법과 정보공학, 객체지향 등의 공학적 분석기술을 수용하고 있다. 따라서 CBD를 적용하려는 조직은 다양한 소프트웨어 공학적 기법과 아키텍처 설계 기술들을 습득해야 하였다. 또한 CBD의 핵심 역량인 반복적 개발 프로세스와 아키텍처 설계 역량을 갖추기 위해 각 개발업체 들은 CBD기술의 도입초기에 상당한 혼돈과 어려움을 겪어야 했다. 이에 본 논문에서는 CBD를 조직차원에서 습득하고 적용하는 과정을 5개의 단계로 나누고 각 단계의 목표를 설정한 컴포넌트 개발 프로세스 성숙도 모형을 제시한다. CDMM(Component based Development capability Maturity Model)으로 명명한 본 개발 능력 성숙도 모형은 소프트웨어 개발조직이 CBD를 습득하기 위해 어떤 단계를 거쳐야 하는지 또한 컴포넌트 개발을 위한 핵심기술이 어떤 것들인지를 제시한다. 이는 향후 CBD를 확산시키고 컴포넌트 기술을 통한 생산성향상과 소프트웨어 개발비 절감을 위해 기업과 국가의 정책적 지표로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Knowledge management is systematic management of vital knowledge resources and its associated processes of creating, gathering, organizing, diffusion, use and exploitation. A key challenge emerging for such organizations is how to encourage knowledge sharing within organization because knowledge is the organization's intellectual capital, of increasing importance in promoting competitive advantages. Isolated initiatives for promoting knowledge sharing and team collaboration, without taking consideration of the knowledge sharing limitations and constraints can defeat further development of KM culture. This article investigates knowledge sharing bottlenecks and proposes the use of community of practice as an effective instrument for knowledge sharing. The article demonstrates the opportunity for overcoming barriers of knowledge sharing through the application of communities of practice. The article introduces a steel company case as the best practice of communities of practice. Then, the paper empirically analyzes the case study to provide evidence for the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

A Study on the Regional Organizations Operating Advanced System of Government Funded Research Institutes (GRIs): From the R&D Service Point of View Quality Using the Kano Model (정부 출연연구기관의 지역조직 운영 효율화 방안에 관한 연구 : 카노모형을 활용한 연구개발서비스품질 향상 관점에서)

  • Most of the GRI's that are organized and operate a regional. However, the limitations of the building that faces its own innovation system of the area, difficulties in management of the individual institution and community organizations operating in various industries such as inadequate to meet demand. This study examined the quality attributes of the GRI's regional organization's operations and policy improvements on the GRI's key features and regional organizations in the region to suggest future operating efficiency in the consumer's point of view based on the Kano Model and Timko Model. The results showed the different properties depending on the quality of corporate premises, and whether or not its own R&D organization. These results could be used as a basis for future policy design in accordance with GRI's regional organization establishment, operation and evaluation.

  • Cloud computing is a new method of computing and managing organizational information technology resources strategically. From the user perspective, it involves computing environment for accessing applications remotely, storing data, and supporting cooperative works. For the cloud computing to be effective in an organization, it should be accepted by individual users. In this paper we propose a research model, extending and modifying UTAUT model. We also test the validity of the model using the questionnaire from a sample of cloud computing services users.

  • 본 연구는 성과관리가 조직의 지속적인 성장과 발전의 혁신도구로써 조직성과에 영향을 미친다는 측면에서 공공부문의 균형성과표(BSC) 운용의 성공요인과 고려사항을 바탕으로 연구모형을 설정한 후 이를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 성과관리를 위한 BSC의 추진 관리 단계인 계획, 실행, 평가, 환류 등 순환주기에 관련된 변수들을 독립변수로 하고, 조직성과에 관련된 변수들을 종속변수로 선정하여 독립변수가 종속변수에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. BSC를 구축 운영하고 있는 공공기관의 BSC 성과관리시스템 담당자에게 설문조사를 실시하여 분석한 결과, BSC 운영 단계별 하위변수들은 상호간에 영향을 미치며, 조직성과에도 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과에 따른 정책적인 시사점은 성과관리를 조직 내에 촉진 유지하기 위한 조직적, 정책적, 전략적 환경을 조성하여야 한다는 점이다. 또한 공공부문에서 성과관리제도가 실패하는 가장 큰 이유는 객관적인 평가지표가 명확히 설정되지 않았거나 보상체계가 불충하기 때문이다. 공공부문의 경쟁력 확보를 위해서는 구성원이 전략적 사고의식을 가져야 한다.

Verification for Structural Modeling between Servant and Transformational Leadership, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, and Organizational Performance of Private Security Organizations (민간경비 조직의 서번트・변혁적 리더십, 조직시민행동, 조직성과 간의 구조모형 검증)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the structural model between servant - transformational leadership, organizational citizenship behavior and organizational performance of private security organizations. The security guards working in private security companies in Seoul and Gyeonggi - do were selected as population, random sampling method. The survey was conducted from September 1, 2016 to November 30. Accoridng to the purpose of the study, this study conducted factor analysis(EFA/CFA), reliability analysis, convergence and discriminant validity analysis, and covariance structure analysis using SPSSWIN 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, servant leadership has a positive (+) effect (${\beta}=.406$) on organizational citizenship behavior statistically at .001 level. Second, transformational leadership has a positive (+) effect (${\beta}=.373$) on organizational citizenship behavior statistically at .001 level. Third, organizational citizenship behavior has a positive (+) effect (${\beta}=.615$) on organizational performance statistically at .01 level. Fourth, servant leadership does not affect the organizational performance statistically (${\beta}=.211$). Fifth, transformational leadership does not affect the organizational performance statistically (${\beta}=.058$). Sixth, organizational citizenship behavior has statistically positive (+) mediation effect (${\beta}=.249$) in the relationship between servant leadership and organizational performance. Seventh, organizational citizenship behavior has statistically positive (+) mediating effects (${\beta}=.230$) on the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational performance. A Study on the Intention to Use Big Data Based on the Technology Organization Environment and Innovation Diffusion Theory in Shipping and Port Organization (TOE와 혁신확산이론에 따른 해운항만조직의 빅데이터 사용의도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to increase the competitiveness of big data in the maritime port organization, by understanding the expected performance and the intention to accept and use big data. In the empirical analysis of factors affecting the intention to use the big data technology for maritime port organizations, the variables employed are based on the Technology Organization Environment(TOE) and Diffusion of Innovations(DOI) theories, which are related to the acceptance of information and communication technologies. To achieve the objective of this study, an empirical analysis was conducted; this analysis targeted the personnel involved in the department of strategic planning and information technology in the related field. We set up eight hypotheses to examine the relevance between variables having three characteristics-technology, organization, and environmental characteristics. The empirical results are summarized as follows. First, it was seen that the technology characteristic, including relative advantage, complexity, and compatibility, has a significant effect on the expected performance. Second, the top management support of the organization characteristic has a significant effect, but the firm size of this characteristic has no significant effect on the expected performance. Third, the competitive pressure of the environment characteristic has a positive effect on the expected performance, while the regulatory support has no significant effect. Finally, the expected performance has a significant effect on the intention to use big data.

A Study on the Job Development and Reorganization Strategy of the National Library of Korea, Sejong (국립세종도서관 직무개발 및 조직개편 전략 연구)

  • The National Library of Korea (Sejong), which was launched in December 2013, has been in the spotlight as a specialized library for Korean policy information and as a Sejong city complex cultural facility. Nevertheless, the essential identity, organizational status, division of affairs and core competencies, policy information collection, and services of the NLK (Sejong) are weak and inadequate. Therefore, this study developed a job model for establishing an essential identity and providing high-quality policy information services nationwide and suggested a strategic organizational reorganization plan. The job model was proposed as a total of 110 by adding 38 to the existing 72. Based on this job model, the short-term reorganization model (2023-2024) changed the grade of the library director from the current grade 4 (administrative officer) to Senior Executive, and the grade of the director by division from grade 5 (secretary) to grade 4. The sub-organization has expanded the current 3 divisions (planning management, policy information, and service use) to 4 divisions (planning administration, library collection and development, policy information service, and public service and culture, with a total of 51 personnel. In the mid-to-long-term model (2025-2032), the sub-organization was expanded to 4 divisions and 1 office (planning administration, library collection and development, policy information service, public service and culture, and policy information research), and presented a total of 61 personnel. To this end, it is necessary to persuade stakeholders with the argument of advocating the Korean policy information center, which is a macro-strategic goal, and focus all capabilities on strategic reorganization and revision of 「Decree on the Organization of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism」.

Measuring Library User Satisfaction using the Public-service Customer Satisfaction Index (PCSI) (공공기관 고객만족지수(PCSI) 모형을 적용한 도서관 고객만족도 측정)

  • The purpose of this study was to design a PCSI model that can be applicable to measurement of library user satisfactions, which can be used in evaluating organizational performance. The National Assembly Library (NAL) was selected as a case to design a PCSI-based model and to test the model by conducting a self-administered survey of 341 internal and external library users. The model was validated to have a satisfactory model fit. Fitting the model, the study confirms that the service qualities of the NAL affect user satisfactions, which in turn affects organizational performances. The PCSI score of the library was 80.4, which can be used as a useful index that can compare the library's performance with other organizations in the similar public domain. Major contributions of this study are two-fold: the PCSI-based model proposed in this study provides a theoretical basis that assesses organizational performance of libraries via user satisfaction; and libraries can utilize the model as a management tool to assess the organizational performance from the user perspective.
