  • A novel UHS relaying algorithm using reflection coefficients estimation is proposed. Based on a travelling ware approach the algorithm can determine the fault location in a travelling time of the protected lone. The discrimation of the reflected wave from others is possible observing the difference of two coefficients. The algorithm is tested using results determined by EMTP.

  • As the circumstance of the traditional system is changed according to power system deregulation, the simulation tool which should reflect market code providing market operating mechanism is needed to analyze an electricity market. This paper presents the development of Electricity Market Price Simulator for short term(EMPS) that is designed to imitate the Korean electricity market. The EMPS is developed in VB.NET and is composed if three functions that consist of calculating SMP for CBP market, MCP for TWBF market and LMP for LMP-market. To evidence the features and the performance of EMPS, a small two way bidding market with 12-bus system, one way bidding market for generator competition and LMP market with 5-bus system will be presented for the electricity market simulations using EMPS.

  • 식품의약품안전청은 수입식품등 검사지침(식품의약품안전청 고시 제2007-42호, 2007. 6. 27)과 수입건강기능 식품 신고 및 검사세부처리규정(식품의약품안전청 고시 제2007-43호, 2007. 6. 27)을 발표했다. 관련내용은 판매를 목적으로 하거나 영업상 사용하기 위해 수입하는 식품, 식품첨가물, 기구 및 용기포장의 검사에 관한 세부지침과 수입건강기능식품의 신고 및 검사에 관한 세부처리규정을 정해 검사업무의 형평성, 공정성, 신속성, 효율성을 위해 개정고시하였다. 본란에서는 관련 고시내용 전문을 게재함으로서 식품제조업체 및 식품등수입 판매업자등의 이해를 돕고자 한다.

  • 대학의 총장은 도덕적 덕망과 학자로서의 소양을 지닌 진정한 교육자야 하며 탁월한 행정 능력의 소유자여야 함과 동시에 대학의 자율성 확보를 위해‘할 말은 할 줄 아는’총장이어야 한다. 아울러 대학 조직의 구심점으로서의 역할을 수행할 수 있어야 하며 장기적인 대학발전을 위해 교육경영자로서의 역할을 잊지 않고 합리적인 목표를 세우며 효율적으로 추진해 나갈 수 있는 MBO 총장이어야 한다.
