The Gaisong Merchants can be regarded to playa pioneering role to activate the Korea's trade with foreign countries. In the early period of Yi-Dynasty, the Gaisong Merchants focused on personal trade, but in the middle period of Yi-Dynasty, they entered to the realm of governmental trade. Furthermore, their business activities widened to various forms of trades, for example, smuggling. Utilizing accumulated capital, Gaisong merchants expanded their trading activities to their neighboring countries such as Japan and China. In recent times, it is necessary for modem Korean companies to diversify risks through the establishment of corporations for production, marketing and R&D abroad or through joint venture, M&A and strategic alliance with foreign companies in order to reduce the risks originated from volatile economic and political situations. In this study, we utilize tools of comparative study to compare Gaisong Merchants' foreign trade strategies with those of modem companies such as AMOREPACIFIC, HANILCEMENT and SHINDORICO. The purpose of the paper is to test the hypothesis that modem Korean companies grew up by following the cases of Gaisong Merchants' business activities. We summarize our main findings as follows. First, both Gaisong Merchants and modem Korean companies have common functional core capability in the field of marketing, manufacturing technology, R&D, and human resources development. Second, both Gaisong Merchants and modem Korean companies have common organizational core capability. Third, both Gaisong Merchants and modem Korean companies have common infrastructures such as planning, finance, accounting and MIS. It constitutes the infrastructure of Korea's foreign trade sector. Fourth, both Gaisong Merchants and modem companies have common organizational culture in the field of management policy and philosophy. Actually, those factors are evaluated to be driving forces of Koera's success in foreign trade. In conclusion, the business activities of Gaisong Merchants who represented the peculiarity of Korean business spirit are partially inherited to current Korean business management. The value system and behavior pattern of modern Korean companies is succeeded from the spirit of Gaisong Merchants and it playa major role to specify the identity of Korean business administration.

Objectives : To acquire an improved understanding of oppositional defiant disorder, we evaluated the characteristics of children who have the symptoms of ODD in community sample. Methods : 1200 children from an elementary school in Bucheon (an urban community near Seoul) were recruited by randomized sampling method. By Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-III-R & DSM-IV, we evaluated the symptoms of ODD and selected subjects with ODD. Psychiatric comorbidity, character trait were compared in subjects with ODD and comparison group. Also we examined the association between prenatal/perinatal risk factors, family functions and the symptoms of ODD. Data were analyzed by appropriate statistical method using SPSS 11.5 window version. Result : Children with oppositional defiant disorder were revealed to have significantly higher rates of psychiatric comorbidity and significantly greater family dysfunction compared to comparison group. Among the prenatal/perinatal risk factors, severe emotional stress during pregnancy, postpartum depression, medication during pregnancy were revealed as risk factors of ODD. In character inventory, ODD group were evaluated to have high score in novelty seeking, harm avoidance, but low in reward dependency. Conclusion : These results support that 1) prenatal/perinatal and psycho-social risk factors could be a important role in the progression of ODD, and 2) children with ODD have diverse comorbid psychiatric symptoms.

Summary : This study was designed to identify the difference in temperament, parent-adolescent's goodness of fit and behavioral problems between early-adolescent high risk group which can be divided into subgroups (ADHD-I and ADHD-HI/C) and normal group. Method : Subjects of this study were students of a Boy's Middle School and their parents. ADHD high risk group was determined by using three rating scales of ADHD behavioral symptoms : 1. Korean-ADHD Rating Scale, 2. Abbreviated Conners Parents Rating Scale, 3. Conners-Wells' Adolescent Self-Report Scale. Final research was based on the subjects including 25 people in ADHD-I high risk group, 70 ADHD-HI/C high risk group, 70 in normal group. Revised Dimensions of Temperament (DOTS-R) was used for students to assess their temperament, while DOTS-R : Ethnology for parents to access environmental demands. Goodness of fit between parent and adolescent was figured out by results of the two scales. Korean Youth Self Report (K-YSR) was used to examine behavioral problems. Results : When it comes to temperament of adolescents, ADHD-HI/C high risk group was found to be associated with higher scores on general activity level. In contextual parent demand to adolescent, ADHD-HI/C parents showed higher level of demands in general activity than other groups, and lower expectation of positive mood than ADHD-I parents. In parent-adolescent's goodness/poorness of fit, the research found out that ADHD-I and ADHD-HI/C had lower level of fit on pesitive/negative mood than normal group and indicated that ADHD behavioral symptoms connected with poorness of fit in emotional relationship between adolescents and their parents. In behavioral problems, ADHD-HI/C high risk group had severe externalizing and internalizing problems distinctly. It had more severe in externalizing problems than ADHD-I, while there were no differences in internalizing problems between the two subgroups. Conclusion The two ADHD subgroups in high risk adolescents had differences on temperamental activity level and on goodness of fit about positive mood. In addition, they had different patterns in externalizing/internalizing problems.

Objectives:The major goal of this study was to investigate and compare the behavior problems and mothers' rearing pattern between adolescent psychiatric patients either neglected or rejected by peer and those who were neither neglected nor rejected by peer. Methods:Adolescent psychiatric patients(N=25) performed peer neglect scale, peer reject scale. And their mothers performed the part of Child Behavior Checklist(CBCL), Maternal Behavior Research Instrument(MBRI), the scale for the maternal concern about the social life of their own patients, and the scale for maternal concern about the friendship of their own patients. According to the score of the peer neglect scale and the peer reject scale, we divided the patients into 'peer neglect-reject' group(n=15) and ‘on-loneliness’ group(n=10), and compared the scores of other scales between each group. Also, we investigated the correlation among all scales. Results:1) The scores of the part of CBCL(p<.05), depressed/anxious subscale of CBCL(p<.05) and thought problem subscale of CBCL(p<.01) in peer neglect-reject group were significantly higher than those in non-neglect group. The score of peer neglect scale was significantly correlated with that of the part of CBCL(r=.516), depressed/anxious subscale of CBCL(r=.483), thought problem subscale of CBCL (r=.651), social problem subscale of CBCL(r=.517). And the score of peer reject scale was significantly correlated with that of attention subscale of CBCL(r=.414), thought problem subscale of CBCL(r=.446), social problem subscale of CBCL(r=.531). 2) But, each group was not significantly different on the scores of MBRI, the scale for the maternal concern about the social life of their own patients, and the scale for maternal concern about the friendship of their own patients. And there were no significant correlation between the scores of peer neglect / peer reject scale and those of scales for maternal rearing pattern. Conclusion:The thought problem and depression/anxiety problem of adolescent psychiatric patients neglected or rejected by peer were estimated more higher than those of adolescent psychiatric patients neither neglected nor rejected by peer. But, from the view of maternal rearing pattern, each 2 groups seemed not to be different. Further research using more subjects will be needed.

This study was designed to examine the validity of HPR subscale in Korean Personality Inventory for Children(KPI-C) and Attention Problems subscale in Korean Child Behavior Checklist(K-CBCL) as diagnostic tool for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD). Nineteen ADHD-1 type, twenty-three ADHD-H type, sixteen Neurosis, and fifteen normal children with the age from 6 to12 were selected based on DSM-IV, and their responses of the KPI-C and CBCL were analyzed. Omnibus F-test results showed that there were significant differences in the F scores of HPR and Attention Problems T scores(p<.05). But in Posthoc analysis, the HPR and AP scores in three clinical groups were significantly higher than in normal group, but there was no group difference among three clinical groups(p<.05). These results shows that HPR subscale and Attention Problems subscale may be useful tools for screening clinical groups(vs normal group) but there was a limit to the clinical validity of two subscales as diagnostic tools for the subtypes of ADHD.
Unlike the existing researches related to salespersons, this study intends to place the focus on salespersons' psychological characteristic as an element affecting their selling behavior. This is because employees' psychological characteristic is very likely to affect their devotion and commitment to relationship with customers and long-term production by a company. In particular, salespersons are likely to get a feeling of fatigue or loss, or make a cynical or cold response to customers because of frequent interaction with them, and to show emotional indifference in an attempt to keep their distance from customers. But the likelihood can vary depending on salespersons' own psychological characteristic; in particular, the occurrence of these phenomena is very likely to vary significantly depending on relationship belief in interpersonal relations. In the field of psychology, under way are researches related to personal psychological characteristics to improve the quality of interpersonal relations and to maximize personal performance and enhance situational adaptability during this process; it is a personal relationship belief that is recently mentioned as such a psychological characteristic. For salespersons having frequent interaction with customers, particularly, relationship belief can be a very important element in forming relations with customers. So this study aims at determining how salespersons' relationship belief affects negative emotion regulation strategies and prosocial behavior to customer. As a result, salespersons' relationship belief was found to have effects on their negative emotion regulation strategies and prosocial behavior to customer. Negative emotion regulation strategies was found to have effects on prosocial behavior. Salespersons with intimate relationship belief try to use active regulation, support-seeking regulation and salespersons with controlling relationship belief try to use avoidant/distractive regulation. Intimate relationship belief was found to have more prosocial behavior, controlling relationship belief was found to have less prosocial behavior to customer. salespersons' negative emotion regulation strategies was found to have effects on their prosocial behavior to customer. Active, support-seeking influence prosocial behavior to customer positively, avoidant/distractive regulation influence prosocial behavior to customer negatively.

The purposes of this study were to analyze the duplicated contents of 'family life' unit of home economics and other subject textbooks for the middle school students. It focused on the 'family life' area in the home economics textbook compiled following the 2009 revised curriculum, and textbooks of other subjects compiled in the same period. To achieve the purpose of this study, "Home economics I II", "Ethics I II", "Social studies I II", "Science I II III", and "Physical education"were analyzed. The results were as follows. The contents in 'family life' area of "Home economics I II" were overlapped most in the textbook on Ethics, and then Science, Physical education, and social studies in order. In Ethics textbook the contents in family life area and those throughout the whole chapters of home economics textbook are overlapped most. The contents of home economics textbook are overlapped at the content of 'Juvenile's sexual development' of 'Human development process' in science and physical education, and at the content of 'Juvenile's emotional and social development' of 'Understanding of human development' in social studies. Seen from this study the 'family life' area of home economics is overlapped in science, physical education, and social studies, but, home economics has comprehensive contents with the goal of managing healthy individual and family life compared with other subjects, and it induces students' moral practices in their real life on the basis of scientific knowledge different from morality, social studies, and physical education. Hence, the instruction of 'family life' area might be done more effectively by focusing on home economics and integrating the connections of duplicated contents in Ethics, Science, Physical education, and Social studies.
We conducted a study on mukeun (long-term fermented) kimchi ripened over one year in an attempt to develop an alternative salt and improve the quality of low-salt kimchi. However, few studies have focused on mukeun kimchi that has been fermented for a short time in different salinity conditions. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the physicochemical characteristics that occur during the fermentation of mukeun kimchi samples produced with different conditions of salinity and fermentation temperature. Kimchi samples were produced at 3 different salinity levels: 1.6%, 2.4%, and 3.2%. Previous studies revealed that the optimum fermentation time at pH 4.1 was 128 hours at $18^{\circ}C$ and 417 hours at $12^{\circ}C$; furthermore, the samples were stored for 12 weeks under the condition of $-1^{\circ}C$ after fermentation. Total cell increased on week 0 of storage and decreased according to the storage period. Total cell was the highest at 3.2% salinity and had a high value at $18^{\circ}C$ temperature during the storage period. Based on the physiochemical results, mukeun kimchi at a salinity of 3.2% can be fermented for a short time, and low-salt kimchi at a salinity of 1.6% and fermented at $18^{\circ}C$, is similar to mukeun kimchi at 2.4% salinity.

This exploratory study which applied environmental scanning method to analyse a change in a future society tried to diagnose a reaction ability of our education system for the change in the future society. In addition, the study tried to explore an adequate direction for Home Economics Subject to be an mandatory subject continuously toward the change in the future society. Main changes in the future society can be expected as 1) demographic change due to low birth rate and aging society, 2) an increasing threat of a human living environment due to unexpectable natural disasters and accidents, 3) a radical progress into a ubiquitous computing environment led by AI, 4) an advent of a borderless economic society and a change for jobs, 5) a change in North Korea, and so on. Our education system which mostly concentrates on education to develop constructive intelligence by halving the society and schooling as yet, however, is diagnosed as it has a paradox that can not understand an emotional competency as a target for studying. Home Economics Subject is worth as the subject that can exactly complement a blind spot of our education system which can not respond to the future society adequately. This is because Home Economics Subject has had a characteristic as a 'Subject of Life' traditionally that has dealt with an overall 'life' of human beings, and the characteristic is favorable to develop human practical intelligence. Thus, because the 'life' is the main point of Home Economics Subject, it has the characteristic as a 'Subject of Happiness' which is the most effective method to develop a tendency to appreciate, a sense of empathy, and lots of pro-social behaviors that are important capacities to seek for happiness. As Alderfer's ERG Theory is to understand human beings' behavior based on the satisfactory of human beings' hierarchical desires, it is suggested as an adequate frame for the theory to restructure the characteristic of Home Economics Subject which develops the 'capacity to seek for happiness' by focusing the 'life', into core concept and core capacity of curriculum. A follow-up study should make a connection between ERG Theory and core concept and core capacity of curriculum to explore how the theory can be reflected on Home Economics curriculum.

1. (시행일) 이 약관은 2016년 9월 5일부터 적용되며, 종전 약관은 본 약관으로 대체되며, 개정된 약관의 적용일 이전 가입자도 개정된 약관의 적용을 받습니다.
